Never been through "real" labour as was induced with Jess.

I am now 36+2 with baby number 2 and have been up most of the night with the most horrific back pain and pains under the bump..... is this normal?

I had a bath but that hasnt done anything, so do i need to get checked or do i take a few paracetemol and see if that helps?!

Did you do anything strenuous yesterday? My gut feeling would be to take a couple of paracetamol, put your feet up and see how things progress over the next few hours. Get pampered

I'm very much a "leave it and ee" person though.

SoupDragon · 24/09/2005 08:47

fwiw, my labours both started with regular niggling period pains which simply got worse and more regular.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 24/09/2005 09:29

Thanks soupy.... a couple of paracetemol it is and a rest - yeah, once my dad gets here - DH working all day and amusing a 14 month old is not fun when i feel so bad!

nutcracker · 24/09/2005 10:42

Sounds like when I went into labour with Dd2. I know i just felt very very uncomfortable and then my wtaers broke.

SherlockLGJ · 24/09/2005 12:49

Now, taking due consderation of the fact that jessicaandbumpsmummy is normally welded to the computer, I strongly suspect that she may be in labour.

Nemo1977 · 24/09/2005 12:51

lol i thought that especially as she isnt replying on msn either

sweetkitty · 24/09/2005 12:52

oh how very exciting JABM if you aren't in labour get on and tell us how you are doing

with my DD I had no warning signs whatsoever, no BHs, no pains, just waters going then a few hours later all hell broke lose

Carmenere · 24/09/2005 12:53
