Muser · 03/01/2011 15:38

Fingers crossed for you Orangegloss, it's such a stressful time waiting.

lia66 · 03/01/2011 15:47

Oh orange I'm sorry to hear the scan wasn't more reasurring but perhaps wait and see what the bloods tell you, often a little more accurate in the early stages. I still have my fingers crossed for you. Look after yourself.

sparkly there are definately ways to relactate if you wanted to give it a go, even if it meant you could mixed feed. I can't remember why without going into the thread, but why did it not work out for you? Have you got some good rl support who would understand how upset you are about it? Or perhaps do you just need to debrief the bf and go forwards? ( am trying to word that well, not sure if it's working) ?If you'd like to email me I can give you lots of tips and links about relactation, or lend you an ear for some support

Hi everyone else, meiter I was on that very early Dec 2009 bfp thread too, it's been a long year, this one is going to be much better for us.

louisesh · 03/01/2011 22:15

HI all

Just a quick note.AGAIN, bad news thought i d be coming to join you all soon but of course not to be.

I'm having a chemical pregnancy at the moment.Got very faint positives last week up to yesterday, today negative just waiting for af now.

Sorry to post shite again!!! Its all i seem to post, the only consolation we ve got is we concieved the first month of trying and me ovulating.I also got pg with Georgie a month after a cp last year.

So not to be, for 5 days we had some hope again and stupidly thought we'd started a new year how it should be.Sad

clareanna · 04/01/2011 09:12

louise sorry you've had a crap start to the new year Sad - but it IS good news that your body is ready for action, I know it's very hard to, but try to take that as a good sign? big hug to you x

louisesh · 04/01/2011 12:31

Thanks Clareanna feel like i m always the bearer of bad news.Hope you re ok? I know its a good sign, i m bleeding now so back to it.X

VivClicquot · 04/01/2011 13:41

Happy New Year everybody! Hope you're all well and getting back into the swing of things after the festive break.

louise - sorry to hear about your rubbish start to the new year, but as clareanna says, at the very least it looks like your body is starting to get ready again. Sending you lots of love.

orange - like others, am sorry that things are still unclear but I'll keep everything crossed that the outlook improves over the coming days.

appleblossoms - I also got some tightenings at the top of my bump around the 19 week mark, which ultimately turned out to be (TMI alert), a bad case of the runs. It lasted for a week, on and off, so I think I must have picked up a bug or something. Either way, it was nothing serious to worry about.

sparkly - Alex is absolutely scrummy. Hope you're physically on the mend x

Hi to everyone else. Nothing to report here, so have busied myself with the list. I found I'd gained a couple of days, but no matter as have decided to change my EDD to fall in line with my 'NHS due date', as opposed to what I think my EDD should be!

dorcas111 · 04/01/2011 13:53

Lousie sorry to hear you've had more bad news to deal with, it must seem right now like nothing is going right for you. Like the others have said though, at least you conceived very quickly and it is a good sign your body is getting ready. Perhaps it just wasn't quite there yet? I know this probably doesn't make you feel any better, but I just want you to know I'm thinking of you and hoping that you will get the joy you so deserve very soon.
Hope everyone else is ok- sorry to hear about your SPD Clareanna. I hope you're being well looked after.
Orangegloss I've got my fingers crossed for you- the waiting and not knowing is horrible, I hope you get some answers soon.
I hope all those at the top of the list are doing ok. Come on little babies, 40 weeks is long enough without adding extra days!
I know I am nearly there myself but it still feels like an age away. I'm feeling pretty fed up with not being able to eat or drink anything without feeling nauseous/ chronic heartburn. So sick of gaviscon....! Also, is this normal to be feeling so sick in the last few weeks? I've tried googling and I just scared myself.

lia66 · 04/01/2011 17:48

Oh louise bopllox bollox bollox, am so sorry to read this, I was so confident for you.

Am not going to give you any platitudes, you probably feel like shit, and understandably so, you know where we all are to listen to you. ((()))

alba wouldn't dream of posting before you. :)

Had my gtt today, nothing to report, knew there wouldn't be, why don't hp's listen to women who know their bodies?

Hope everyone is well. Come on babies at the top, we need a new year baby. :)

louisesh · 04/01/2011 17:49

Thanks Dorcas and Viv i know its only a matter of time and a short time at that.Hope you re both well xxx

Don t know if its "normal" to feel sick at the end i didn t though can t see it being a problem ,only google with discretion [sp] don t be frightening yourself XXX Speak to your midwife .

toomuchteaching · 04/01/2011 18:20

Oh louisesh... life is so bloody unfair. I'm so sorry. I really hope next month is the one for you. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.

Had my last research project scan today, bambino is very low, lying on the left and on the 48th percentile at around 3.4kg. So fingers crossed things happen soon. I had my haircut today, I thought booking an appointment might move things along in the spirit of clashing. But no joy.

So I've still got the fork lift, but I really am willing to pass it on as soon as possible.

clareanna · 04/01/2011 20:14

eek lia did I read that right? Is there news from alba?!

lia66 · 04/01/2011 20:37

Oh no, didn't mean that, Blush sorry to get your hopes up, alba said the other day If Lia doesn't get there first in telling you when she does have the baby.

Was just reasurring her iwouldn't spill before she came on and posted herself.

Whoops, must phrase more carefully.

Gi1da · 04/01/2011 20:55

Louise so sorry it's a cp this time but gosh you guys are fabulously fertile! Great that your body is determined to be upduffed asap, just making sure it has the perfect strong bean for you. Here's hoping next cycle is the one for you. xxx

Sending thoughts out to Bunny hope it's all going well today.

OrangeGloss hope to hear positive news from you tomorrow, have been thinking of you and keeping fx.

Went to bed last night then had to get up as didn't feel right, ended up glued to the loo with diarrhoea whilst puking into a bucket the other end! Had a few cramps, ended up sleeping on the sofa since is next to bathroom (bedroom upstairs), but woke in the morning to nothing else happening. So fed up of this now! Mw appt for sweep tomorrow. Come on little one!!! Last orders - ding ding!

How's it going 37+ gang? Hope you are all having better luck than me!

louisesh · 04/01/2011 22:01

Thanks Gilda good luck XXXX shame you re feeling so crap .

Lia thanks ,you re right is a big load of bollocks indeed!!! But everything is pointing towards next month.Just hope i ve got some good eggs left.

Thanks Toomuchteaching FX for action soon XXX

HappyGirl1 · 04/01/2011 23:55

awh louise i'm sooo sorry to hear your news but also delighted as your body is clearly super fertile and as the ladies have said you are getting ready for a big month really soon with a super super strong sticky healthy bean. I'm really really looking forward to hearing that news xx

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 05/01/2011 01:15

so sorry louise to read your news, try to stay positive and like the other ladies say it is a good sign that things are happening x

dorcas ask for some ranitidine, I have had horrendous heartburn and this has made such a massive difference. The sickness might be related to it, I have been sick a few times when I have delayed taking my tablets.

Hope you are feeling better Gi1da and your sweep is productive tomorrow.

Wow so many of you at the top of the list! Looking forward to hearing your news ladies!

Wide awake, can't sleep AT all and I am shattered!

clareanna · 05/01/2011 08:02

magic I should have logged on and kept you company! baby brother (working title) decided to do riverdance in my belly last night, and I'm feeling quite sore this morning!
On the plus side ( and not in a weird stalkerish way at all) when I did fall asleep I dreamt we were all in hospital with Gi1da who had gone into labour. She had been cooking a large ham and had brought that to the hospital with her for us to snack on while we waited for good news.

It was all very odd and I would like to point out that (to my knowledge) I have not been taking any hallucinogens...
On that note I think I'll go and have some breakfast

VivClicquot · 05/01/2011 09:55

Ha, loving the weird dreams. I had one last night that another poster from MN who I know in 'real life' had another baby, who she called Graham. Which is nice.

Gi1da - Am getting very excited! Quite a few of my friends have had, um, a good clear-out Wink like that the day or so before labour started!

louisesh · 05/01/2011 10:10

Happygirl Thanks very much.Hope you re enjoying motherhood? X

Magic Thanks.Hope those "spiderbabies" aren t giving you too many problems X

Good luck Gilda XXX

I am convinced i ll concieve next month [if i don t i ll deal with the disappointment then] just want af to finish now then can get back to it.

Gi1da · 05/01/2011 11:11
Wink

Oooh I hope something happens soon, every morning I wake up and think oh no night action then!

Happy due date Toomt and good luck with scans today Carimoo and OrangeG Smile

AlbaDeTamble · 05/01/2011 13:09

Hurry up Gilda, I think my baby's going to be a very polite boy, he's waiting for you to go first, doesn't want to queue jump Wink

Hoping all is well with GLB, busy with lovely snuggly newborn no doubt, and that all went well yesterday for Bunny with her induction, or did baby show up before that and induction avoided?

Dorcas, nearly in the 37+ club too... re nausea, I've had a few episodes of it in the last few weeks (in fact a few episodes of full on throwing up too) - from what I can gather a couple of reasons, one is hormones going a bit mad again near the end, the other is babies with big feet aiming in the general direction of their mothers' stomachs... I thought I had a bad case of food poisoning first time it hit, most unpleasant.

Happy due date Toomt, maybe you'll be one of the lucky 5% who actually give birth bang on time? I assumed it wasn't to be, my mum babysat and DH and I went out for a lovely long lazy lunch. Last chance in a while is what mum said when she offered, however, I think we may just do the same at the weekend!!

Joining the support team for scans today, for Moo and Orange, very best of luck and here's to good news

Gilda, good luck with the sweep... I was very happy when midwife decided my baby was engaged yesterday, so she could do a sweep, which she managed (not the most fun experience ever but could have been worse), and I followed it up with a good long walk, then bouncing on my ball, then reflexology, and then....... slept better than I have in weeks Biscuit

Hope yours is more productive!

lucysnowe · 05/01/2011 13:35

Hi all!

Tentatively putting my head round the door... I am a whopping cd 19, more or less. Smile I was on the TTC post m/c thread for a while and it's taken me a whole year to get pg again. Spookily it's almost exactly this time year I was pg, so am feeling a little apprehensive. Last time m/c at nine weeks though so I have a while to go before the deadline.

Had a major panic earlier when I thought my boobs had stopped being sore but they're back to normal now, thank goodness. Still am going to be symptom and lack-of-symptom spotting now for the duration, it's pretty horrid. My DH has made a vow to not drink any booze until the pregnancy ends. Grin let's all hope he has to wait until September, LOL.
