Hoping everyone is well and had a lovely Christmas.

Bunny hope things are going well for you.

CaribouMoo · 27/12/2010 14:47

Congrats Zayja your pics are beautiful, its good to hear things are well with you.

Hope everyone has had a good Christmas. My in-laws have just left and I can't wait to get the house back to ourselves and relax!

Good luck to GLB, Gi1da, Bunny and all the others at the top - looking forward to hearing more good news soon!

Unbuffy · 27/12/2010 16:17

Hooray Zayja that's fab news!

Waiting for news from GLB (long time quiet...) and GOOD LUCK all those at the deep end...

Oh, and Happy Christmas to all!

Am around, lurking mostly, not sleeping much due to hungrybrat, brian still frazzled, will post when poss!

x

littlemiss72 · 28/12/2010 09:18

Congrats Zayja wonderful little pics - good to hear all went well, what a beautiful name. x

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

Back from the New Forest, I slept through most of the festivities Shock lovely break though.

Got home to find my 12 week scan Down's Screening results. 1 in 330 which seems pretty positive given my age I hope! Not found much useful info online about it tbh so any info welcome.

Looking forward to hearing of NY babies arriving!

Love to all x

clareanna · 28/12/2010 12:50

Hi all how are you? Hope you've all had lovely Christmas times. Louise have been thinking of you particularly x

littlemiss I'm in the new forest at the mo too!

buffy samb meita zayja happy and malteaser how was babys first Christmas?

I'm fine- having quite a bit of pelvic pain mow and turning over in bed is a major operation!

toomuchteaching · 28/12/2010 17:30

Congratulations zayja and welcome to little Winona.

Hope everyone else is well. Glad to have got Christmas over and done with (it was lovely though) but I'm starting to get fed up, I hope this doesn't go on for too much longer! Waves to those thinking similar thoughts!

louisesh · 28/12/2010 18:51

Thanks Clareanna Yes, its been so shit. What shoild have been instead we ve not even put 1 decoration or card up, didn t celebrate or buy any presents as far as i m concerned the sooner its all over the better.

Just want this time over and done with its all so horrible, nothing feels right anymore.Don t want to live in my house, don t want to return to work but have to , probably in Feb.Am moving but dh says we have to wait to we ve had Georgie's brother or sister.I want to go NOW, hate it.Nothing feels like my life anymore. If can t have Georgie just want to be pg asap. Its all time/mind consumming AGAIN , i m either looking at when i should swi or when af is due.Never, for one minute thought i d be back at this point again and its so unfair i shouldn t be.

Anyhow, hope you re ok? Bet you wished you'd never asked!!!! Take care XX

clareanna · 28/12/2010 22:10

Oh Louise there's very little I can say to offer any comfort I know- it is unfair and just shitty that you're going through this- I can understand completely why you say you just want to get past this time. I sincerely hope a new year brings you better times slowly but surely x

I am well- bouncing on a ball and being stuffed with food by on laws. Glad to be on mat leave at at this stage. the reality that I might finally have a baby is sinking in after being pg for 12 of the past 15 months!

AlbaDeTamble · 29/12/2010 09:18

Congrats Zayja on your beautiful little girl and congrats to Littlemiss on low risk nuchal scan, I hope that helps you relax and enjoy it all more Smile

Lucky, hoping no news is good news and you're busy cuddling your little one by now? Also wondering if anyone's nigglings have turned into anything? I've had another bad night with loads of BH/mild contractions, but never getting regular or properly 'serious'... Very frustrating and somewhat tiring... And knowing there could be another couple of weeks of this is not making me happy! I just want him out now and all fine...

Waves to all and a big hug for Louise

BunnyBaby · 29/12/2010 11:36

Louise echo what others have said, not a good time of year, and hope 2011 brings you the much wanted sibling for Georgie.

Alba pretty much the same here, have been warming up since 37 weeks now and get a lot of cramping and contractions in the middle of the night, which wake me, then I doze until morning. Have also got swollen legs and feet now, nice! It would be nice to lose theconstant nausea and clear outs.

Watched 'one born at Christmas' last night and cried all the way through it. Just like I cried at the carols in church on Christmas day. Just a little hormonal now, but at least I'm on the home stretch now.

GLB, Gilda, Sparkly - any news yet?

Redheadgal · 29/12/2010 12:33

Congratulations Zayja - she's lovely!

Thinking of you Louise - such a tough time. I really hope that 2011 brings you joy.

Hi to everyone else. I'm getting a bit tired of being pregnant now. Feeling totally immobile and lethargic. Although I did go swimming yesterday which helped. Bunny - I've had swollen ankles and legs for a couple of weeks now and feel like I have ski boots on the whole time. I'm really beginning to see why so many women end up flat on their backs, an 'active birth' seems physically impossible. Still no hint of any Branstons, unless I'm just not noticing them. Can't help but think that she's very comfy in there and has no plans to come out anytime soon.

Also totally with you Bunny on the crying. I cry at absolutely everything. I was even feeling pity for poor Ponting and in tears over 'The tiger who came to tea'.

I did write my birth plan yesterday though - now I know where I'm giving birth Grin. Just my bag to pack today and I'll be officially ready.

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 29/12/2010 14:42

Hi All, hope you all had a lovely christmas and are looking forward to NY. What are you all up to? I will probably be asleep long before midnight!!

Last day at work tomorrow and it couldn't come soon enough I am completely shattered! I have had a really shitty few days, totally wiped out and SO grumpy. Itching is better but still getting me down along with all the other joys of pregnancy. The twins have been kicking the life out of me the last fews days, to the point I feel bruised and that they might make the break for freedom early as it seemed like they were going to head butt their way out (or kick as I think they might have turned actually)! The kicks are very reassuring and they both have their own personalities already Grin Having Branstons too, wasn't sure at first as I really don't remember them with DD. Redhead you have my full sympathy, I wish I could sleep the next 8 or so weeks away!

Thinking of all you 37+ ers waiting patiently! (and also wishing I was up there with you)

Big hug for Louise I hope 2011 brings you nothing but joy x

Sorry for the lack of name checking my brian is not in a good way and I am supposed to be doing paperwork for my last day and my tax return Biscuit

xxxx

Huge congratulations sparkly welcome to the world baby alex- ouch indeed!!!!

OctaviaOstrichJollster · 30/12/2010 10:15

Just popped in to congratulate the new arrivals (thread had popped off my list, so am a bit belated, sorry), and say hurry up to those babies whose timekeeping is not up to standard Grin.
Seriously, hope all those about to pop are doing ok and not too frustrated.

Love and Happy New Year to you all. I got a BFP last January, so am hoping to repeat that for 2011. Hope to see you soon x

BunnyBaby · 30/12/2010 10:40

Well done sparkly and congratulations! Goodluckbear we're looking to you for an update :)

I'm still having lots of latent labour so just waiting for it to get going. Mum and Dad have taken DS1 to theirs for a few days so I'vd bad my first lie in in 3 years and we're getting lots of jobs done, though l really miss him, he'll be back tomorrow and is having the best time being completely spoiled with all routine out the window.

Gilda how are you? Wouldn't it be funny if we gave birth the same day?

AlbaDeTamble · 30/12/2010 10:43

Congrats Sparkly! Slightly Envy of your little bundle of joy arriving just before due date, but not of long hard labour, but all worth it in the end!

So, all three of you in front of me are overdue now... Hurry up girls, I want it to be my turn! Scan today to check all fine, Reflexologist tomorrow, she has a pretty good track record of babies not going over and I've been going since 30 weeks as suggested so with any luck she'll work her magic. Then a nice long walk after seeing her and maybe DH can help out with some final encouragement after DS has gone to bed... I wonder if wishful thinking and careful planning really can encourage these babies out Hmm??

Good to see you Jolls and fingers crossed for your January BFP

and good to hear you're feeling good now you're getting to 2nd trimester Littlemiss Smile

good luck with the tax return Magic, I submitted mine yesterday, my annual least favourite job... the first time I've even thought about it before January! I still put it off as long as possible really, but need to set myself loads of reminders to actually pay the bill at the end of next month, I don't suppose baby brain is a good enough excuse for late payment??!

Waves to everyone else and sorry for limited namechecks... Unbuffy did you take Brian with you to the postgrads thread? Can we have him back on loan occasionally? Fairly quiet thread just now but I still can't quite remember what I meant to say to everyone (at least not till after I hit 'post'... Blush)
