Loopy hope you clear your cold soon and feel better

SamB hope ruby gets well soon

TooMuch so glad everything was okay and glad you went in to get checked out. Hope the doppler goes well this afternoon also.

Redheadgal great your baby is engaging! I'm jealous!

Unbuffy how are you doing? It's just great that you are so calm and settled with the ctx. Hopefully things will really kick into gear shortly and after all these ctx it will go quickly for you.

Zayja we are super close!

I feel years away from having a baby though. I know that sounds silly sitting here with a bump in front of me and baby poking out of my right hand side but it just does. For some reason i was wide awake last night til 4am. Then slept til 11am this morning, felt really odd when i got up and was like oh maybe things are starting, had a big clear out (sorry tmi), waves of pains in lower back but now absolutely nothing again. Family over on Saturday so if baby did come between now and then it would just be absolutely perfect but as I said it really really does feel ages and ages away yet.

Unbuffy · 30/11/2010 16:02

As I said earlier Happy RACE YOU THERE!

Zayja - in the race too?

Congrats to Appleblossom too, it's such a relief to be over that hurdle Smile

Waves to Muser and hugs to Loopy xx

HappyGirl1 · 30/11/2010 16:07

Happy to be in the race Unbuffy but I hope you win! You've been through way more symptoms than me! I do hope i'm a realllllly close 2nd/3rd though with Zayja!

i'm def ready for baby now :-)

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 30/11/2010 16:46

just deleted my bloody message by mistake...........Angry Sad

I HATE SNOW DAY!!!!!

Gi1da · 30/11/2010 16:57

Updated list with appleblossom's details on. Wishing good results to crochet too.

Good heavens we're expecting 11 babies before the Christmas decorations come down! Wowzers! Enthusiastic ra ra ras to UpduffyBuffy, Happy and Zayja, comedy raised eyebrows at LuckyBear and Malteser then a bit of a freak out seeing that BunnyB and I are after that - eek! How the heck did it all come round so soon?

Redhead glad to hear you've had a much more positive meeting with your mw, about time! Smile

Sparkly glad your physio is helping. Am doing a yoga dvd for exercise here, though not managing every day which I promised myself I would.

Wishing Loopsy and Ruby over their colds asap and here's hoping the rest of us don't catch them!

Toomt really glad you got checked out Smile

Snow snow lovely snow here, so pretty, though I've stayed inside watching it fall from the warm so easy for me to be bewitched. Don't know how I'm going to manage to get in to town for my appt early tomorrow though!

Thank you for all your sensible comments re kitty action. Yes I can see it will be best to wait. Given that for some strange reason black cats don't get homed quickly, who knows, this little one might still be waiting for a home when bobbins is here. And if not it's because someone else fell in love with her too so I can't complain.

Here's hoping everyone is well and happy x

clareanna · 30/11/2010 18:21

Gi1da glad you've made a decision about kitty - we got ours a few months ago (think I went into homronal mothering mode and wanted something else to look after!) I'ts taken a while to settle her, and she's only just (touch wood) using the cat flap and not throwing up all the time... I almost like her... but had she been doing that when I had a newborn I would have probably wanted to take her back! Cats definitely go waaaay down the pecking order when a baby arrives !

toomt second everyone else - glad you followed your instinct and got checked out - and equally glad that all is OK. Hope you get snowed in and school is closed for a bit to allow you to rest!

unbuffy ignore what I've said to toomt - hope it all thaws out and your lights go back on!

crochetcircle · 30/11/2010 18:47

Yikes - I made it!

It hasn't sunk in yet, I think I've been in denial for too long to get really excited! But it was lovely to see him/her wiggling away on the screen. Until they started counting fingers/organs/measuring brain etc, when I started worrying all over again. Very low risk of chromosomal issues too. All the bloods were back within two hours, so we got the whole result today - very efficient!

Congrats appleblossom too - can we be due date buddies? I'm 12+3 today and due on 11 June as well! What are the chances?!

I have promised myself to just enjoy this for a while and not start worrying about anything else, at least for a few weeks!

Thanks for all your support lovely ladies of the thread

Well done Apples and crochet on your fab scans, try and relax now for a wee while!! Great to hear more good news.

HappyGirl1 · 30/11/2010 20:24

Crochet big congrats on ur scan that's great news!

Lots of period pains here. Feels like ages and ages and ages away still. But don't mind - our babies will be worth it Smile.

Hopefully once one of us (aka you Unbuffy!) starts things off then it will be one big flow of good news baby wise on this thread!

xx

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 30/11/2010 21:38

I am back, calm restored after losing my message earlier! Massive dumping of snow today all day and it is still snowing now, hoping that DH stays at home tomorrow as DDs school will be shut and all she wants to do is go sledging and was not very satisfied with our short stint in the garden earlier........my bloody shopping delivery was cancelled this morning so I am like old mother hubbard.........in need of cake and shampoo (and every cupboard essential!)! Also have a consultant check up on Thurs but have no idea if I am going to be able to get into London Confused On a good note spider8babes are basically kicking the shit out of me, this anterior placenta is doing nothing to cushion the kicks now!

buffs how goes it??

Glad you have decided about the cat Gilda Wink probably for the best, my cat is driving me bananas stalking me to sit on my bump.

apple & crochet so pleased for your good scan news today :)

Get well soon Loops

ToomuchTOUCHING Grin glad you got checked out and all ok. Let us know how you get on with the doppler.

Waves to Clareanna Mooo Zayja Happy Muser ivy Sparkly and anyone lurking! x

clareanna · 01/12/2010 08:01

magic what are you doing up at 5am?!
hope the spiderbabies behaving.
Half my team has called in to say they can't get in - grrr it's times like this i wish i didn't live quite so near work!!!

Unbuffy · 01/12/2010 09:00

Still here... The Queen of Stop-Start. Getting proper miffed now, not to mention knackered. Have run bloody marathons the past 2 days, am not looking forward to another one.

Hello cold peeps - blimey tis bitter out.

clareanna · 01/12/2010 11:10

Poor buffy hope it gets going soon! Have you resorted to sex and pineapple curry yet?!! Remember you can take paracetamol if you need to. Am thinking of you- it's rotten being in limbo!

CaribouMoo · 01/12/2010 11:18

Love that Clare, the idea of 'resorting' to sex as it really is the last thing you feel like by that point! Come on babybuff!!

Alibobster · 01/12/2010 11:18

Good morning ladies - Happy December everyone Xmas Smile

I am going for my first scan today and I am a bag of nerves. I am literally shaking and my stomach is in knots. I pray it's good news, I don't think I could deal with the alternative

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 01/12/2010 13:53

Good luck with your scan Alibob :)

VivClicquot · 01/12/2010 15:31

Good luck Alibob and a big yay and congrats to apple and crochet on the good scans. Let's hope with Alibob's we get the hat-trick :)

uptheduffybuffy - hope you're hanging in there, missus. It feels a bit weird that you're almost at D-Day as I remember clear as day when you got your BFP on the sister thread! I guess it's that age old thing of everyone else's pregnancies seeming to fly by and mine dragging!

toomuchteaching - glad to hear everything is okay with you. That must have been quite a scare.

Hope everyone else is good. We've had a smattering of snow in Manchester but not as much as everyone else,it seems.

xx

HappyGirl1 · 01/12/2010 15:34

best of luck alibob hope you get good news.

unbuffy you poor thing u must be exhausted.. hopefully things get going really soon

clareanna i love that 'resorting' - i don't even know if i could even attempt it!

Been up since 4am, lots of period/back pains and a few random contractions. then had an hours sleep and much better since and only a few pains so looks like it's nothing after all! Snow absolutely crazzzy here!

toomuchteaching · 01/12/2010 16:05

Brilliant news crochet and apple, and fingers crossed for alibob too. It really is exciting times here isn't it!?

Oh unbuff, sorry you keep gearing up then stopping, it must be so frustrating. We're all rooting for you though, and you're so close to meeting your baby. Waves to happy and zayja too... I'm besides myself with excitement about how many arrivals there are going to be during Dec/Jan.

Oxfordshire appears to be the only place in the whole of the UK with no snow. Grr... school still open.

Doppler yesterday afternoon was spot on normal, and bambino has been moving around like crazy, and I'm not in pain today. I really have no idea what it was, but I didn't like it and I don't want it to happen again! Thank you again for all the well wishes. I've just had the incredibly sad news that one of the ladies from my NCT group has lost her baby at 38 weeks, really too awful to think about, she hadn't felt movements, went in to get checked out and they found out her boy had died. It's too much really, I sat at my desk and cried, and makes me realise that I don't care if I feel like an idiot for a couple of hours at the hospital, I'm beyond lucky just for everything still going ok. Really brought it home, once again, and made me shed further tears for louise, it amazes me that you're managing to carry on so strongly.

Lotta123 · 01/12/2010 17:57

Was rather nervous about joining this thread after a mmc in April.

But have decided I should take the plunge.

Am 29 weeks and 5 days. Baby due February 10.

Went to add myself but the list got confused by the dates already there.

Are some of the dates not right on the list?

Or am I having a preghead moment?
