I was reading the times yesterday (annoying can't post link because now have to pay for their website) was article about women having her first baby at 30 and how all her friends were still waiting. Midwife said all first time mums generally under 20 or over 34 unless it was unplanned.

So - who here is on their first pregnancy, how old are you (and if you don't mind saying was it planned?) if its your second pregnant how old were you first time?

Just nosey really couldn't really believe that 30 was young for a first pregnancy...

I had my first when I was 25 and will be having my second when I'm 27.

I'm 24, first child is due this Thursday and she was planned. I ran into an old school friend who had her first at 16 and she said 'you're the LAST person I'd expect to get herself pregnant!' infront of the whole doctors surgery ... I had to explain it was planned, awkward!!

first successful pregnancy aged 39, now 40 with 4 months to go.

unplanned pregnancy when 26 and miscarriage at 38.

I was 31 when DD was born. She was planned.

I'm 28, planned.

Am 37 and currently preg with 1st - unplanned but over the moon. Would like 2nd by 39.

i was 17 when i fell pregnant with my first, he was planned. just turned 20 and pregnant with my 2nd and this one was kinda planned but still a major shock.

I had my first at 25 and my second at 26. With no1, we weren't using anything and I certainly wanted one! but weren't 'trying' trying, iyswim. Just letting nature take its course. with no2 I was on the pill, but he was clearly meant to be!

I will be 28 when my baby is first baby is born and yes planned! And I do feel most people think that is young.

19, 20 and now 25. None of which have been planned. All very much wanted however.

I'm 26, found out a week ago that I am pregnant with my first child. It was planned. None of my friends are even considering having children though :).

Hi ladies, am 31, this is mt first baby and it wasn't totally planned or unplanned. We just weren't being super careful and putting no pressure on ourselves to conceive x

DS was planned and I was 34. Should have been 33 but I had a MC. I will be 37 this time round.

I was 29 and 33 when they were born, am hoping to have another but am 36 now and feeling worried about the risks.
