haaaa - thats better!!

last nite, we had my DP's cousin at our house with his wife and 2 kids... there were 1.5 yrs old and 4.5 yrs old (i thought she was 6!! as she takes after her Dad who is 6.5).. anyway got to know them and had a lovely evening.. i went upstairs to get babas bodysuit ready for bed as she was worned out playing with them two.. i came back downstairs and my baba let out an almighty scream (everyone was in the living room with baba), what had happened was the 1.5 yrs old bit babas hand and baba just stood there in her playpen in shock and suddenly WWWWAAAAAAAIIIIILLLLLLLL (awww poor thing!)

ive gotta go as baba is tired and need to put in bed for her nap (cant you hear her?!)

Happy Birthday (belated) Gracie! Hotmama, you are getting soppy with all those hormones (I don't know what my excuse is?!)
Kath I remember your story vaguely, did you go for a bath and then end up having Babymole on the carpet?
When I had just finished work, I was totally embarrassed because we had gone away for an overnight stay in a holiday cottage owned by a friend of a friend (who lived next door to the cottage) and my waters broke all over the bed in the morning when dp and I woke. My friend had gone off with her kids to school and stuff, so we didn't have time to wait around to explain, so I stripped the bed and left a note saying we would pay for the sheet. Of course, she didn't ask for any money and said we were welcome to come back anytime and to bring the baby. Nice lady!
Then we went to hospital and then shopping for baby things that we thought we would have three weeks to buy. So much for being organised.

spookylips · 06/10/2005 00:09

stacey - how is your baba progressing anyway?

spookylips · 06/10/2005 12:27

my baba is started to get abit naughty as i feel like SUPER gluing her clothes as she is always stripping off and on her botty she gota few stratches that she tried to get her nappy off !!

cazzybabs · 06/10/2005 12:41

Oh god grace is always taking her nappy off and weeing everywhere - so much soo we have to dress her in vests to keep it on!

She is soo gorgeous though - I just can't belive I have been blessed with 2 happy well behaved delighful girls (although dd1 did tell me she was going to be naughty today!).

Spookylips _ grace has a bad cold too and a terrible wheezy cough! Don't know wether to take her to doctors and be concenered about Asthma.

spookylips · 06/10/2005 12:46

why cazzy? is there any Asthma in your family (im sure you mentioned it!).. mine sounded wheezy too so i give her baths every nite to bring it up (even though she threw up instead )..
do what best for you and your baba

spookylips · 06/10/2005 12:47

oh yeah we started to put vests on BUT she even took that off (the vest were abit big though so i put her old ones one and it stayed on!)

spookylips · 06/10/2005 12:54

oh and my mum is moving out soon as she had already sorting out her housing benefits etc... i told her its best for her to go as i dont want to fall out with her..

(but i feel more awake though and mum seems to be alot happier!! so my aunty said it may do her good as she gotta do it soon or later anyway!)

spookylips · 06/10/2005 22:58
