....where we ditch the talk of babies/lack of sleep etc and concentrate on some Salient Social Planning

  • where to meet
  • when to meet
  • what to wear
  • what to drink
Who's up for it then ladies?

Our summer looks busier and busier, I am afraid.

Basically July and August are out - holiday with family first, then visit to Germany to show off Joe to all the rellies who've not seen him yet and are too old to travel (my gran mainly - she's 97).

So go ahead and plan away, I may of course never speak to anybody again if I cannot make it.

Or how about September??

{smile]

donttrythisathome · 16/05/2010 12:55

Hi, I'm lurking. I'm nervous about the thought of going all the way to York on me own with DD, but if possible I'll go on a day trip.

PacificDogwood · 18/05/2010 11:16

.

donttrythisathome · 18/05/2010 17:23

PD they say brevity is the soul of wit But perchance that is taking things too far

PacificDogwood · 18/05/2010 17:29

i was just bumping...

i think september isn't the worst idea in the world. in a way, if it's a weekend thing, does it matter about school holidays??

OP posts:
Arcadie · 26/05/2010 08:48

sept good!

I propose 1st week.

MummyElk · 27/05/2010 22:02

seriously. where is pixie in all this?! she has a pool...(with sweaty maintenance man to eat all the biscuits) ..50 acres of campable land ( give or take) and random picnickers to poison / frighten off

Sept is good for me. tbh whenever is!! [stalker emoticon]

Right are we talking weekend here or weekday?
Overnight or just a day trip?
I am keen to come to the MMMM however 7 hours on the train to York is too much for me but I won't flounce off if you decide that that suits the majority and I would hope to join you for MMMM part II south or south west edition.
heckle for some reason I had it in my head that you were in the Granite City not Jam 'n Jute but don't know why and that's a long way from anywhere by train!

MummyElk · 29/05/2010 22:03

I would think weekend but i suppose weekday might work with the majority of us on mat leave??

Propose a list of where we all are in which case...just to work out where might be the best point to meet.

Copy and paste the list and add your name to the bottom.
If you don't want to post this publicly, either let me know here or on Fbk and we'll sort it. I'm not on CAT but I suspect PD or someone is?? I haven't put even those i know in case people are worried.

Sept also good for me. Weekday could potentially suit better too as DD1 will hopefully be in nursery three days from September

Sept probadly all good - hoping to be on holls in Oxf and Kent at some point in Spet so London would be a top day trip for me.

September is good for me I think, probably weekend suits best.

Re: location - Its occurrd to me that my BIL and SIL-to-be live in Newbury ie not a million miles from London and it's probably quite do-able for me to stay with them so a southern based mmmm is not out of the question for me.
