QueenofDreams · 24/04/2010 22:38

oooh heloooo
oops hope Hectorina is ok in there. take it easy yeah?

TwilightSurfer · 24/04/2010 22:39

Can you tell I'm a loss for words. It's only because I wanted to OUT our thread for all the pregnancies that are being reported but then I feared folks didn't want to be OUTED so I was left with nothing to say.

Hello and goodnight DS is randomly awake and unhappy, so we're all off to bed.

Glad to have you 'home' oops. I am ordering that baby to put her feet up and not go anywhere for a while

oopsandbabycoconut · 24/04/2010 22:45

Bed for me - too much excitement for one night!

poppysocks · 24/04/2010 23:01

oops! What a day... Please relax and sleep well tonight (if at all pos...).

I too dreamt last night of more pgs on the Aug08 thread cyteen. Except in mine it was.... red!

Amazing restraint CC .

Hope things have been ok there this evening loti. On an entirely separate subject, we're planning bunk beds too. We've just moved DD1 into an exceptionally cheap and flimsy captain's bed type thingy and DD2 into the cot bed (with sides ) but plan to invest in some quality bunk beds in a couple of years like these. Supremely £££ but gorgeous and will hopefully last them as single beds too.

Lovely day today practicing walking with my friend today in anticipation of the Pink Ribbon Walk next month. Walked 20 miles of the coastal path. Ashamed to say it was the first time I'd done it and while there was a lot of rock clambering and soft sand walking, it was sooo beautiful today and so lovely to catch up without assorted children interrupting us .

Tornadoes TS . Hope you're ok!

Hello to everyone else!

TwilightSurfer · 24/04/2010 23:18

oh i should say the weather's not been as bad as first expected, at least not yet, so no tornados. lots of rain and some wind though.

hello everyone,

lots of love to you all, and congratulations QOD, lovely news.

It's saturday night, which means a marking deadline in the lwfh household (CC did you ask me last week what I mark - I instruct an online course in biostatistics for clinical trials, it is quite a lot of work, when I do work, but each module only lasts 8 weeks, then I have a break, and I can do it at home, so quite good)

Meep, back to the marking.

luckoftheirish · 25/04/2010 07:17

thank you ts for lovely thread..

oops glad you are home safe and little missy stays where she is for a few more weeks.. resr rest rest lady..

sorry your boss is giving your grief dizz tis not fair...

cyteen loving rowrowrow!!! hoping ds settled and you got some more sleep..

gg as you can see i am on here as dd2 woke at 6.10am as always..

having friends around for bbq.. hoping the weather holds..

didn't really chat much to h last night.. he appologised for his behavior but wanted to point out my fault in all of this too.. tbh kinda of ignored him and covered my ears..

we have agreed to save any "discussions" for when the dds are not around as we were both upset that dd1 got upset when we were arguing..

alittlebitshy · 25/04/2010 09:01

loti hmm good that he apologises, but not so good that he passed the buck

dizzy grr at your family's lack of response.

Morning!

dizzydixies · 25/04/2010 09:28

morning all, just checking in on Oops.

ALBS - one text from one aunt this morning saying WOW!! but nothing yet from the other 2, I expect it will come with varying degrees of concern

LOTI - hope its sorted soon, nothing worse than walking on egg shells in your own house imo

TS - as ever lovely new thread

Poppy - well done on the childfree walking

to LWFH

DH away to work, even though he's supposed to be on a day off gits and I'm in at 4pm. Bacon butties all round this morning, supposed to be taking girls to gymnastics but DD2's lesson has been cancelled which would mean DD1 having her class and me sitting with other 3 for an hour watching - considering passing on it I'm in at 4pm today and soooooooooooo need a nap at some point inbetween, I'm also working 2 extra days this week and considering this morning has been spent brushing/hoovering up the majority of the beach that DH and the DC brought home yesterday I really can't be arsed!!

raining here, hope you're faring better where you all are

dizzydixies · 25/04/2010 09:31

at £1000 bunkbeds - I wouldn't trust my lot with anything as expensive as they'd end up drawn on/with sick down the side etc etc. lovely beds though,

alittlebitshy · 25/04/2010 09:35

ooh must look at those beds. our 2 don't need bunks as we're lucky having houses provided for us with plenty of room. if we ever have to move into our own place ( we have a 3 bed place) we'd have to consider it though but hopefully we'll be in vicarages for years yet. a friend of mine has fabbo bunks which i suspect cost £££ so will be interested to see if they are the same!

alittlebitshy · 25/04/2010 09:37

just looked - v similar but the ones i saw at my friend@s have built in book shelves alongside the top bunk (can't remember about bottom) which is an extra fab space saver....

dizzydixies · 25/04/2010 09:42

the ones I wanted from M&S now have pride of place in my friends house and they're lovely - we don't have the ceiling height and would need some less than 160cm which aren't common

M&S ones here and they come WITH mattress and are built for you on delivery

dizzydixies · 25/04/2010 09:44

ah pants, I now see that they're delivered for home assembly - they must have realised they're missing a trick there they're not quite the same as the ones I had seen previously as the height of those might actually work in the girls room

alittlebitshy · 25/04/2010 09:49

think this may be the one i am on about bunks with shelves and not as £££ as i would expect! if they are the ones, they are VERY sturdy - they had some others which we not good enough and sent them back and got these instead.

dizzydixies · 25/04/2010 09:51

I've seen those ones ALBS and they look lovely, they just take up far too much floor space for us stupid 2.5 bed house!!

alittlebitshy · 25/04/2010 09:52

how big is the room you need to put the in? how many girls will be in the room? (will dylan be going in there too?) would 2 mid sleepers work so that you have the separate beds but with storage under them rather than elsewhere in the room?

oopsandbabycoconut · 25/04/2010 09:57

Morning ladies

DH let me lie in this morning until DD came running in yelling about dinosaurs - she sounds very funny trying to name them - her favorite one is tyeannosnorus and teggosnorus.

Baby behaving this morning but has turned transverse - She is going to be TROUBLE when she arrives I just sense it. Still contracting bt only 5-7 minutes apart so not regular or established. Forgot to say last night I am not between 4 and 5 cms I guess it just means less far to go when the time comes .

Those bunks are great but DH swear the girls will never share but fails to understand that sometimes girl want to share.

Cyteen - love rowrowrow.

Miamla - How was T's first night in his big bed?

Dizzy - was going to text you last night but it was too late and you were up before me this morning.

oopsandbabycoconut · 25/04/2010 09:59

now not not at 4-5cms

dizzydixies · 25/04/2010 10:01

unfortunately our house has sloping ceilings in the upstairs bedrooms apart from ours so there is only room for one raised/cabin/bunk bed iyswim? we're considering leaving everything as it is just now because we won't need the baby in its own room till next year at least but it would be nice to have an idea at least!!!

their room could take bunks and a single/toddler bed so three in one room but then we loose the space for a wardrobe! D's room is a box room and can only take either a cot/toddler bed or single bed and a wardrobe and the study downstairs where we thought of putting DD1 in a cabin bed would have half of the floor space taken up by the bed alone which we never imagined as all we do it chuck stuff in it and shut the door !!

will be musical beds for a while but am sure we'll manage and if not DH and I can move out to the shed [meep]

dizzydixies · 25/04/2010 11:13

I've just realised that the washing I hung out when sunny on Fri is STILL out currently getting poured on never mind, it can't get any wetter I suppose

all still sitting here in pyjamas having not bothered arse to go to gymnastics and happily watching the Little Mermaid - sorry Red but we're fairytale fans here as well as loving all things to do with cars/planes/dinosaurs/monsters too

oopsandbabycoconut · 25/04/2010 11:22

Dizzy - it can join my washing from Thursday which is also being rained on!

dizzydixies · 25/04/2010 11:28

tis pita, yesterday was beautiful and was stuck in a room with no windows for 10hrs & today was supposed to be a picnic in park before work
