Hi all!
Headless congrats on your BFP! Sending you sticky baby vibes x
Sausage can I join the others in at your Mum? I can just about understand her feeling a bit fed up if she's worn out but totally unfair to take it out on you. And as for fetching your dad and icecream and not you, well why didn't she tell him to go fetch his own?
pula well done on the no feeding/cc-ing. You've done really well to be strong and hold out. I am gearing up to try to do something about H's sleeping (still up 4/5 times most nights and ends up in with us) but am being cautious because of his separation anxiety and the fact that he's not very settled at nursery yet.
belgina can I belatedly add that you are a fab midwife! I would count myself v lucky to have you there at any birth of mine. Hope C is better soon and your stint at DAU helps you get some rest in.
Ses your poor DH. But I am also chuckling a little at the idea of him rolling around starkers in your front garden .
blotted yes, H is indeed 1 tomorrow! I'm another who enjoys your FB updates. Loving the hats! And you take some fantastic photographs.
llare hope G's rash resolves itself as 'one of those things' and not excema or CP. of your personal shopper trip. I'm still trying to put together a work wardrobe but am not very inspired. I think I need to be back in the work mindset before I can think about it properly.
periods/fertility got mine back at 8/9m in spite of bf-ing several times a day, then and now. I am certain I'm ovulating too. In fact, I was to have to go and get a morning after pill today (£25 from the chemist ) after a rare moment of opportunity and inclination coinciding and us thinking 'what the hell, took us 8 months to conceive H'. Very silly as DH doesn't want another child at all; I'm not sure, but I know I want at least a few months of decent-ish sleep before starting it all off again.
Birthday we have spent this evening getting ready for H's big day tomorrow. We've got a banner and some helium-filled '1' balloons and his presents are all wrapped. I didn't bake the cake because DH goes to a shop where they sell lovely home-made full-sized chocolate cakes at £3.50 each. He bought two . We have a couple of mums & babies coming over in the morning, then a few family in the afternoon, then finally we'll go to PIL's as MIL is too poorly to get up the stairs at our house. Hopefully H will have a good day and take all the excitement in his stride.
Hope everyone else is ok. Just thinking, should we have a list of birthdays, or is that too much of a faff? They'll be coming thick and fast soon!
