I am soaked!!!!!! Some inconsiderate pratt parked his van so close to my car I couldn't get in! So I went into the supermarket ot get them to page him and ask him to move, when he came to the desk he had a full scale paddy about my complaint as there was plenty of space fpr a 'normal' perswon to get in - so I undid my coat and stuck my belly out. He then suggested I park somewhere with more space in future?? By this time we had been to the car and back twice in the rain and I was soaked so the lovely lady offered me a hot drink voucher for their cafe whilst mr Prissy went to move his car. I was still drinking when he came back and he made a snarky comment about me obviously not being in any rush so why hassle him. I could have hit him with my coffee cup. Shopping still in the car as it is pouring and I can't be bother to get it yet.

TS - that is some seriously ugly underwear!

Dizzy - go lie on the sofa and left the girls watch telly I am

Sazz - lol at poo sausage.

LOTI - Pizza and wine tonight?

oops have only just dragged in the shopping now too but very on your behalf, what a twat

Sazz, Hercules now on for the girls, I've been out all day with DD2 and DD3 and DD1 has her drama class tonight so I'm not going to feel guilty about it

DH on stupid shifts tomorrow and Sun now too. tomorrow fair enough but I'm working on Sunday too, fortunately our girl was coming up anyway but I'd taken time off to finish early as I didn't relish being in work on Mothers Day I know its just another Hallmark marketing ploy etc etc but still

TwilightSurfer · 12/03/2010 17:09

Sazz just save up for the flight and we'll work out accommodations.

Oops I'd probably have just said F-you. Pregnancy left me unable to edit my thoughts.

Oops Tosser.

TS at the cheapness of those items! Replace the dollar with a pound and you have the UK price.

Now having second thoughts about those dresses and their suitability for a Greek orthodox wedding. Would have to have a little cardi/jacket and that first blue looks tricky to match/accessorise.

GladioliBuckets · 12/03/2010 17:23

DD is watching How to Eat Worms which I chose for film night, there are some filthy Sid James laughs coming from her. Nice to hear her letting go a bit, esp after this morning's tears re an out-of-the-blue problem with today's school dinner menu.

dizzydixies · 12/03/2010 19:37

Dylan has finally stopped shouting at me, I believe it is because she has gone to sleep but I could be wrong

on the plus point DH bringing home a chinese carry out and I'm having the usual lemon chicken and couting it as one of my 5 portions of fruit and veg for today

I'll be in bed by 9pm I imagine

Red - have FBed you

oopsandbabycoconut · 12/03/2010 19:51

Snap on the Chinese Dizzy - Lemon chicken and chilli beef here with egg rice and to throw caution to the wind a full fat coke!

DD asked 'please mummy a bed, I neeeeeeed nap, pleeease a nap in bed abaggie' So I put her to bed and she was out like a light before I left hte room. DH on his way home in a bit, I need to bake for tomorrow and am uninspired so they are having sausage roll, smarties cookies and victoria sponge - all simple and easy to whip up (and I can do the sausage rolls in the morning.

back between batches of cookies

dizzydixies · 12/03/2010 19:58

well it depends on when he is getting finished, if its not soon I'm going to start eating the furniture

I have to bake tomorrow too and now DH on stupid shifts I've have 'help' at least I don't have to eat it

cyteen · 12/03/2010 20:05

oops what a nob end, hopefully the car keying fairies will pay him a visit tonight and let all his tyres down while they're at it.

Glads the pale blue dress would work well with a cream-ish cardi, I reckon. Not much help on the strapless/halterneck bra front but in the interests of balancing out TS's hilarious underwear links, check What Katie Did for lush glamour.

dh apparently on way

dd2 asleep on my knee in her jammies trying to wait up on dh [bless]

dd1 trying to touch the roof with her trousers

lwfhthebagpipeplayer · 12/03/2010 21:41

re: bra - stick on ones work under anything. Buy a pack from BHS.

hotterpotter · 12/03/2010 21:50

I think it depends how buxom you are I think Buckets I have had multiway bras in the past which have detachable straps so you can go strapless / halterneck / crossover straps. They have silicone strips which are supposed to cling to your skin and help keep you upright if you're strapless but I think once you get over a certain size they are fighting a losing battle . Nice frocks though

The HotMamas have made me buy this one which is really out of my budget range but looked soooo lovely on I couldn't resist. I'm calling it my birthday treat Luckily I can wear full scaffolding underneath

Hope everyone's Chinese / omelette is delicious. We have just eaten chicken breasts which were 2 days past their uuse by date so may not be around much for the next few days...

dizzydixies · 12/03/2010 22:08

chinese was below par

longway - trust me when you're my size norkage wise nothing short of iron girders work
lovely dress Hots

GladioliBuckets · 12/03/2010 22:14

Yep, 34E and saggy with it - maybe I could fold them each in half and tape them down? Loti Stick on ones? I must try!

Oh my goodness Hots that dress is gorgeous, you'll be such a showstopper! Will go v nice with your lovely cheekbones too.

Oh sod it I'm going to have to buy both dresses aren't I since the sale ends Sunday. Actually will probably be able to Ebay them for profit if they're awful irl. Then I can take the winner to John Lewis and get the good bra fitter lady to help.

lwfhthebagpipeplayer · 12/03/2010 22:58

yes, sorry to post and run with a random comment about stick on bras. Buckets you can find them here and I used one (just the sticker type) with my wedding dress with no problems, although not the most romantic underwear when it came to peeling it off that evening ...

On the other hand I am now two children, 15 months of breastfeeding and a stone heavier down the line so my recommendation may be based on slightly out of date experience!

lwfhthebagpipeplayer · 12/03/2010 23:00

PS the dresses are all gorgeous, sorry forgot to say in the middle of my bra rant!

TwilightSurfer · 13/03/2010 02:31

Well if you can't find what you want, you need to visit Victoria's Secret because she always has what every girl needs. I only wear Very Sexy Victoria's Secret. Sadly the reason is less posh and more the need for mucho enhancement.
