Thought it was about time we got rid of the Christmassy title. How's it going? It's the weekend!!!!! My three are in the bath and DH has gone back to bed

Sigh.

Haha great title. Not my ds2 though!
Hope all are well.

CaptainDippy · 16/01/2010 18:11

Very true - nor Maveta's little man either thinking about it ....

oooggs · 16/01/2010 19:25

I love the title

Luke is cutting some huge teeth at the back, he was terrible last night - heartbreaking

cazboldy · 16/01/2010 21:01

and Charlie Goes in September!!!!!!

my baby boy......

Aaarggghhhhh

and I will have 2 children at HIGH school!

where does the time go?

I have been offline for a couple of weeks - problems with the computer, but really have been meaning to pop in properly for a while.

Molly is doing fine. She really is a joy. And sooo funny. A real cheeky little madam with a wicked sense of humour!

Charlie is now 4 and is officially "a big boy". as he keeps reminding me ....... all the time.

I am going to be an auntie again, and am really excited. My baby brother and his wife are expecting and have their first scan on Monday

Ponies all well - except for everywhere being so wet, but at least the snow has gone!

Playgroup taking up A LOT of my time now I am chairperson, but I am enjoying it so far.

So in summary .... all is pretty good here atm

How is life treating the rest of you ???

oooggs · 16/01/2010 21:03

blimey Caz - Molly will be lost when Charlie goes to school

cazboldy · 16/01/2010 21:12

I know... she won't have anyone left to boss around

cazboldy · 16/01/2010 21:13

seriously though - I am so not looking forward to it

oooggs · 16/01/2010 21:15

I always said 'with twins you don't get that single child syndrome when the second to last one goes to school' as they will be going together - then we had Luke!!

Bramshott · 17/01/2010 10:39

No I'm sorry, someone has that wrong, they are still baaaabies I tell you!! [fingers in ears emoticon]. O would love to go now I think - she trots in the classroom so happily when we go in to do reading! Although I guess she won't get the same level of 'worship' once she is actually there!

N's 7th birthday party went pretty well. All of the girls were really nice, and nothing got trashed. The crafts were actually a bigger hit than the movie, although they demolished a mountain of popcorn! Picture of Barbie cake on my profile - I quite enjoyed it - think O may be getting one too!!

elkiedee · 18/01/2010 11:34

I'm hoping D will be able to start part time nursery at our nearest school in September, his CM already takes 3 other kids there including one at nursery, and apparently he's about to go full time. PT won't help our childcare costs, but it will get easier once he goes FT.

CaptainDippy · 18/01/2010 11:47

My "baby" has gone off to CM today wearing "Big girl Pants" - about bloody time Let's hope it works .....

Anyway - Caz you are AMAZING - I bow to you!!

Sooo pleased the party went well Bramshott - cake is fabulous, well done!!

Just catching up on work bits 'n' bobs, thrilling. PTA meeting this pm and friend popping round for a cuppa.

Is anyone else finding their little (Mrach) April (May) "baby" completely delicious at the moment? Phoebe is soooo yummy!

There you all are!!

Caz, good to see you back on line.

Can't believe they start school next September! K is still well and truly my baby, and no chance of big girl pants here. I have offered Peppa Pig pants, but no interest!!

cazboldy · 18/01/2010 17:28

Yes Dippy - I have a yummy one too

Busy day

Might pop back later x

cazboldy · 18/01/2010 17:39

actually I probably won't so I'll spare 5 mins now.

Molly has been dry day and night for age and ages ..... BUT still sleeps in our bed every night.......

he does Playgroup on a Monday morning on her own so that I can have some time with Charlie.
Then when I go to pick her up, he stays for the afternoon.

He hen goes all day on a Tuesday, and again on a weds morning, and then they both go on Thursday afternoons, and we all have day together on Friday.

I feel like I am constantly chasing my tail, and like I am always going to/from somewhere and by Friday I am dead beat!

I usually end up staying there for a couple of sessions a week doing paperwork etc now aswell!

Sometimes I want to spend the whole day in bed........Why can't someone look after me for a change????

oooggs · 18/01/2010 19:45

caz - I wish you could come down here and sort my lot out!!!! James not dry at night, Erin not dry at night but does wees in potty and poos in pants not impressed. Jack sat on potty today for no reason and is still in nappies 24 hrs. When asked where he is going to do his poos, he replies 'In my pants like Erin'

Now Luke is totally yummy - but he is my baby who is in a ff car seat, on cows milk and 1 on wednesday

cazboldy · 18/01/2010 21:11

Pardon oooggs?

1 ON WEDS???????

you are joking ....right?

phdlife · 19/01/2010 11:32

ha, found you!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who hasn't sorted potty training. Ds is very good about going in the toilet at home (it helps that he can run round nekkid all the time) but when I think of trying to take him out in BBPs I just come over all... chicken!

ScarletBandit · 19/01/2010 12:09

Morning!

No big girl pants here yet either! F is just not ready, and the times I have tried she has just wet herself very quickly.

My mum annoyed me the other day by making a comment, saying "you could easily get her into pants if you tried". Excuse me? I am not a completely inept mother who will leave her in nappies until she is 18! She even sent my dad up here yesterday with two packs of little pants for F. She put a pair on, and lo and behold, wet herself within ten minutes despite coaxing from me to use the potty. Kind of suggests we are not there yet I think.

And breathe!

Oooggs, I cannot believe that Luke is a year old this week. That has got to be the fastest year of my life so far!

Nothing much happening here, I am finally feeling better after over a week with a chesty cough and generally feeling run down and bleugh.

Anyway, must go and get F from playgroup shortly, see you later

StealthPolarBear · 19/01/2010 17:12

lost you
found you again

CaptainDippy · 19/01/2010 19:31

NO WAY!!! Luke is NO WAY nearly one!! Wow!!!!!

Thanks for the reassurance about Big Girl pants ladies I absolutely peed myself laughing at oooggs' post and PhD and "nekkid" - awesome!! Phoebe was terrible for CM today - aaaaah well, can't win 'em all - She is still yummy and scrummy!!

OP posts:
cazboldy · 19/01/2010 21:44

IME there is no point in rushing it. I think Molly has been easy as she is just so terribly desperate to catch up with Charlie!

He made me laugh today.

When i picked him up from playgroup, he said. " I had a tummy ache Mummy, but it's ok , because Heidi looked in my ear and she didn't find anything in there." cue puzzled Mummy asking Heidi if he has been ok.

"yes" she said "but I just took his temperature to be on the safe side!"

Bramshott · 20/01/2010 10:04

Happy Birthday to Luke!!

CD - Orla was aparently terrible for the CM yesterday too - they must have been in sync!

phdlife · 20/01/2010 10:38

can I have a little pat on the shoulder?

ds had nightmares last night, his yells woke dd, there was terrible faffing and... I was up 1:30-3:45 or thereabouts. Cue two exceedingly crabby dc's this morning (and mama with a sore head). Ds down for two-hour nap - after repeatedly pretending to kick dd's head - by 9am. Dd realises she's got me to herself so refuses to go for her usual nap, despite being extra tired due to night waking. Result? Dd constant wailing all afternoon; ds doing the over-tired-rambunctions-trashing-the-joint thang. And I am trying to deal with some fairly heavy shit my sister's in, too.

Still. At least it was only 31 today

Oh - and I took ds to shops in BBPs and it went ok! Had a near thing getting into car to go home but happened to have new bucket-and-spade set in car (as you do) so he went in that in carpark. For the record, what IS the protocol when they do that? Tipping it into carpark bushes ok?

oooggs · 20/01/2010 11:16

OH MY GOODNESS - yes Luke is 1 today

ds1 at school, dts at nursery so dh and I off to the pub for lunch start him early

thank you for the birthday wishes

phd - yes in the bushes

StealthPolarBear · 20/01/2010 11:26

Happy Birthday Luke
