Work in the morning so think I'll head off to bed and finish my book.

Night night all and here's hoping we all get a good night's sleep with no interruptions

SazZaVoom · 27/10/2009 21:50

Night Hots, sleep tight, dreaming of your new slimline wardrobe

steaknifethroughtheheart · 27/10/2009 22:06

Night HP

Wotcha sazz

I have spent the last four hours ignoring the floors that need sweeping and washing and the pile of crap stuff on the table that needs sorting.

Mamasteak got the Britax seat in Halfords today. She is happy because they fit it for you so she wont get all confuzzled.

DD liked her first go in the bike seat today. Though not at all keen on her helmet. At least I think she liked it. She ended up kind of bent over with her head on my back. Like they go when they fall asleep forward in a car seat. But not sure if she was just watching the street or had fallen asleep. Of course the most difficult thing of the whole trip was unlocking the front door and getting the bike and her back into the house without it falling over. (bike not house - house very stable, as is a terrace and v unlikely to fall over anytime soon)

pfft, that's about it really. Think I might head to bed as not feeling very sociable and so might hide under the duvet.

But before I go, if anyone wants a good read Wolf Hall is excellent. All about Thomas Cromwell and the rise of the Anne Bolyn. Excelent book. One of those that you want to get to the end, but you don't want it to actually end.

SazZaVoom · 27/10/2009 22:22

At least you are only renting if it does fall down . Just make sure you get out first!

Great news on the seat. Can't go wrong with a Britax IMO

Enjoy your bed

steaknifethroughtheheart · 27/10/2009 22:27

My bed is very crowded at the moment seeing as I decided to bring you all with me.

Hope no-one has cold feet.

SazZaVoom · 27/10/2009 22:29

I'm ok, brought my own hot water bottle thanks

Bugde over a bit though, my arse is a little chilly hanging over the edge

steaknifethroughtheheart · 27/10/2009 22:33

Knew I should have gone for a super-king-size.

SazZaVoom · 27/10/2009 22:37

Ah yes, they are highly recommended, especially for sleeping 4

That's Mummy, Daddy and minisazzes before you smutty lot start thinking otherwise

steaknifethroughtheheart · 27/10/2009 22:44

smutty us, no chance, not round this way. Though there might have been a flicker of smutt while I was watching the last episode of Dr Who today - the one with Two David Tennants.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 27/10/2009 22:46

What is all this smutty chatter ladies.

SazZaVoom · 27/10/2009 22:47

Just 4 in a bed and David Tennant. Nothing really no1

How are you today? Is Marcus ok now?

steaknifethroughtheheart · 27/10/2009 22:47

no1 there is no smutty chatter. Just me and La Sazz and a hot water bottle. Terribley boring I am afraid.

steaknifethroughtheheart · 27/10/2009 22:48

That would be David Tennant twice, akchooly.

SazZaVoom · 27/10/2009 22:49

Sorry, should have said, how are you Ribena. Am still chuckling over that one and your blessed old Nan

Apologies for boring you Steaky

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 27/10/2009 22:53

Lol at Ribena.

Horrid couple of days and nights with Marcus.
Won't bore you with the details, only I have no clue as to why he was screaming like he was being tortured at 1 am this morning for 1.5 hrs.

Prior to that I also resorted to taking him out in the car at 8pm to get him to sleep as nothing else would work. Never thought I would have to do this.

steaknifethroughtheheart · 27/10/2009 22:59

sorry sazz I didn't mean you were boring

Ribena quick say something nice to Sazz and distract her for me.

SazZaVoom · 27/10/2009 22:59

Oh, you poor thing . You really have had a bad run of it haven't you? I really hope tonight is better and you can get some rest too. Days are SO tough when the nights are disrupted.

Would it be worth going back to the docs do you think?

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 27/10/2009 23:02

lol steaky

soooo.... am I right in that you got dd a wooden farm type thingy for her birthday?
I know oops did but can't remember.

Could you linky for me if you did.

sazz lovely bike that Dizzy forced encouraged you to buy.

I am looking at wooden dolls houses for dd for xmas but can't decide if this is a good idea or not.

Iknow Marcus loved that one at the Museum we went to didn't he?

SazZaVoom · 27/10/2009 23:04

I think a wooden house is lovely, as long as the figures are chunky enough. Marcus did really enjoy it, so DD might not like that

My two are getting a kitchen between them so there will be NO arguments when it comes to playing with it

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 27/10/2009 23:04

Will see how he is tomorow, he did a poo today and it was as hard as a house brick. sorry for tmi, but possibly he had tummy ache last night??
Just wish I knew.

me and dh havn't fallen out but we are constantly disagreeing about Marcus.
He things he is 'mardy' or 'got summat wrong with him' and gos on at me for constantly trying to justify why he cries. Which I know I do.

SazZaVoom · 27/10/2009 23:08

How is he with eating? Would he take some active natural yoghurt with prunes in? I do this whizzed up and actually tastes ok

Of course you are defending your little boy as to why he cries, that is what Mums do. Doesn't mean it isn't tough on you too though. Probably tougher actually, especially as you are with him all day and feel quite helpless to make it all better . I hope your DH realises that? If not, we'll sent round cyteen

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 27/10/2009 23:08

LoL yes dd got a kitchen. She loved it, and Marcus loves it too.

We had seen a lovely wooden one, but we thought what if she throws the wooden accessories at Marcus. we thought plastic one would be a better option.

Turns out we made the right choice, at least the tiny sausages don't hurt that much when she throws them.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 27/10/2009 23:11

He loves prunes and yoghurt.

He had lots of bluberries tonight, which seems to be his favourite atm.

Yes dh seems to understand, but I think it is a combination of us both being so tired too.

Also when Marucs slept through 12hrs for nearly 2 week, dh seems to have missed that and says why don't they sleep?
He honestly believes that we are the only family that have kids that shout, moan and dont sleep properly.lol

SazZaVoom · 27/10/2009 23:11

We are going for wood, but DD2 has a pretty good aim and is a tough cookie so i reckon she'll hold her corner

Right, off to bed for me. Hope your night is peaceful

Night

steaknifethroughtheheart · 27/10/2009 23:12

Yep DD got a farm for her birthday. In the end it was a cardboard rather than wooden one, but still pretty and it comes with plastic animals. Linky linky to cardboard farm.

linky link to the one mini-oops had for her birthday
