hello all, and happy birthday to lots of babies!
We finallly have bannisters up to the top floor, so I don't have to worry about babies climbing over the babyfence. However now A can climb stairs so need to get new babygate to keep him out of all the DIY upstairs. Finally we're onto DIY rather than building works!
A still won't have a room of his own for his birthday, but he won't know. Besides, he likes pulling all my books down in my study, and getting the phone into his cot by tugging the cradle cable, so he can join me on conference calls...
He's really a prototoddler now - screams when he doesn't get his own way (ie a door exists), really wants to wield the spoon himself, into everything, puts milk bottle caps into the washing machine (so far no problem), and eats for England. He's also not needed night feeds for 4 nights now (shame 1 needed cough syrup and last night forgot to put nappy on before bed, so he woke soggy at 4am ).
When do I have to shift from trying to get as much food into him as possible, to ensuring he doesn't eat too much?
