Hi all, Hope your Op went okay ceebee
V.V jealous of all the people dressing up nice, I'm stuck in that rut where you want to slim into your old clothes but havent got the energy or will to exercise. and you darent buy new clothes as you are sure you will deffo slim into the old ones. I really need to get a grip and either get slim or get shopping!! I'd love to put my killer heels back on but they just dont work pushing the pram to the local precinct!

crici I've had had numerous probs giving medicine before with DD. The best way I have found is to give a yogurt and then midway through, use the spoon to give medicine, then back to yogurt again. Make sure the spoon is either the medicine spoon or same size as one obviously. It works everytime for me. And I find calprofen much easier to give for pain relief rather than calpol. calpol is too thick, bright pink and syrupy! calprofen is white and you need half the amount so much easier to pass off as a spoonful of yogurt!

Just checking in - thanks for all your lovely messages/thoughts on FB and on here

Op went very well - all very routine and I was back from theatre by 11am yesterday. Not in too much pain (not even comparable to the pain of a c-section ) so am moving about quite freely. Thye have warned me not to lift the boys for a couple of weeks which will be very difficult.

I could have come home late yesterday which DH was desperate for me to do but I was quite looking forward to a night in the hospital with a telly and my book with room service so the lovely nurse told DH that I really needed to stay in that night

Have to say the 'private hospital' experience is SO much better than the NHS

Will catch up later.

Hi everyone, this is Suiledonn under a new guise. I had a bit of a wobble yesterday and deleted my mumsnet registration. I regretted it today but now I can't register my old name.

coolkat · 07/10/2009 18:58

Evening all,

come to moan.

Not enjoying work, feel really depressed, not with my work that I do but just the place and some of the people. Keep telling mysef keep my head down and say nothing but I always end up opening my mouth and telling people why I'm not enjoying work or things I am not happy with. I should keep it bottled up to avoid confrontation but just get so wound up. Nothing is consistent.

I must go in do my job and come home. Its convenient, school hours, terms, pays bills and can't afford to stay home. Becca enjoys chidminders and I feel so guilty.

Had accident tonight. Becca fell down the stairs. DH left the stair gate open. We are both mortified. She is fine, wiggled all her bones. Feel shit.

Does anyone else ever feel like they are really happy one day but feel shit the next. I feel like I can't get the balance. Like I am sick of trying to please others.

Sorry guys just a tad mixed up tonight. Wish someone could come and look at my life and sort it.

ellieloooooooooooooween · 07/10/2009 20:11

doctorswife I feel like that alot, I have loads of clothes that I wore pre pregnancy but cant fit into them now
ceebee glad everything went well and hope you enjoyed your night of peace with your book.
jaacl HI will need to get used to your new name
rosa Hi sorry cant be of much help with the bibs I got mine off of ebay but cant remember whose shope it was sorry.
coolkat Sorry you are feeling like this I felt like this when I worked 30 hours at my work, I felt like I was missing alot but I had to work was living in a council top floor flat and we were just away to buy our first house, DH working in the town and on crap money. My work is quite fractious at times and there is an awful atmosphere at times and the time when I have opened my mouth and said something it has just got a whole lot worse, so I tend to just go in and do my job. Its easier for me now as I just work one day a week but I used to be very confident in my job and now certain other people make me doubt my decisions which wreak havoc with my confidence. Sorry am rambling on here anyhoo can you reduce your hours a bit, this may help you get a bit more balance. Other than that is there a manager that you can talk to if individuals are giving you problems? Its horrible when people make your work difficult.
Glad becca is ok after her tumble, Millie fell from her changing table did a somersault and landed in her cot I just reached down to get a nappy, she was fine but I was crying. Try and let these people not bother you, you have beautiful girls and sounds like you have a lovely DH.

LatinDAISYcal · 07/10/2009 20:48

suiledon, can you call yourself Suiledonne? then you'll still be you but a wee bit different.

what was the wobble about? I hope spomeone hasn't been upsetting you on here

feeling a bit shit today, a bad day in the middloe of a lot of good ones, so I know it'll pass.....think I'm premenstrual again. does anyone else on ADs find they are a lot worse when due on? I'm wondering if it's worth mentioning it to the doctor?

chocolategal · 07/10/2009 21:00
