Grr at your silly DH chocgal. I am sure his intentions are good, to have a wee break away, but if you can't afford it, you can't afford it and 3 holidays in one year is pretty good going, no?
I am the money minder in this house too and constantly at DH to curb his spending. He just fritters it away on nothing in particular, though, then complains when there is none left.
His best, load of nonsense, recently has been 'I will just use my money then' He means the credit card. His money? Ya numpty that is debt you are accruing!! Plonker.
Rosa we have a similar sort of thing going on here, though we haven't actually discussed it. DH settles J for most of the night but by 3 or 4, J is just cross with DH for being DH and not being mummy with the booby milk. He wakes again at about 6, at which point DH brings J through for a nappy change and more boob, to grab another couple of cheeky hours once DH is off to work.
Yorky I was exactly the same as you up to about a month ago when I finally caved and moved J in with DD. I was soooo worried that it was going to be a nightmare, but J totally settled and immediately started sleeping better.
DH also had to start pulling his weight too. J being in with us (and actually in with me) meant that he had had an easy ride of it. Well, no more.
I am actually much happier with the situation as it is now, but I put it off for the longest time through fear of shooshing or CC.
aw, your poor DS pinky hope he is not ill for long.
My DD was complaining of a sore tummy tonight. I asked was it inside or outside, she told me inside but seemed fine.
20 minutes later and a wee shout from upstairs. The little love had been quietly (so as not to wake her brother) sick all over her bed and was having her wee shout from the bathroom.
We sorted her out, checked she was ok and popped her back into bed with a furry blanket, which she was very happy about cos 'It feels like the cat'
Sorry mammoth post but have to complain. There are children outside (Yes! At 11 o'clock at night!) on their bikes. One is on one of those low riding 3 wheeler things. But this one is plastic and made for skiding. Which he is duly doing, outside my house!!
What a bleedin racket it makes!
Second night in a row.
He is a troublemaker so we have not approached or said anything cos I would fear damaged property but have instead, phoned the police for 2 nights now. Not sure they have actually done anything though.
But, where are the parents!? Do they know the children are out this late. They must, surley?!
How awful. Feel sorry for the children in a way.
Sorry about the essay, again
