2nd hand will be fine streilised I'd have thought- I mean sterilisation kills anything bad surely? and anything really nasty couldn't live outside the boday as it needs a host [gruesome emoticon]

hmm Sas- that one is £56 already... there is a brand new sealed one for 69....
I am watching too
Yes... fierce is not good...

AMazon have isis iq for £88... will have a scout around.

qumps · 19/07/2009 13:27

Sorry just cantching up.
Sparkle I could hear the for goodness sake in your post, I do know what you do! Was having a baby brain moment and thought it was something to do with horses!

treedelivery · 19/07/2009 13:31

Had no musnet all morning. Imagine! Working now phew!

I have medela swing pump and it's ace. Off to catch up.

SparkleandShine · 19/07/2009 14:00

qumps - sorry didn't mean to be short! I was going to post a link then didn't as i've stopped linking as don't want to be traced back by people who know me in rl. I didn't realist mn was searchable on google. My Dh pointed out to me a while ago that if you searched our company name my MN posts wheere I've linked comes up quite frequently....

SparkleandShine · 19/07/2009 14:02

ps I don't have a medela swing....its a mini electric...

eppm - the one I linked was the Duo - I think its £250 new... its at 81 already so may leave that one!

EachPeachPearMum · 19/07/2009 14:05

erk SAS... potentially embarrassing then?
Duo does both breasts at once? mmmm a bit too milch cow for me maybe...

treedelivery · 19/07/2009 14:07

You can but new medela bits. I had to get a new shield and membrane and cuff last week as they went mouldy in the steriliser from being in there too long

I watched the swing pump on ebay on many occasions and there was never more than a £10 saving on buying new - when I took P&P into account.

I've heard other bad things about the mini electric pump. I like the swing though, it's fast and comfortable. And I bought a different cup for...er...larger boobs. Helped big style!
Hows the head HKZ?

EachPeachPearMum · 19/07/2009 14:13

what size are you atm tree?

EachPeachPearMum · 19/07/2009 14:17

Doesn't RRayray pump too? What do you have?

Pat/SaS are your medela mini or medela swing?

Stripey do you have one at all?

treedelivery · 19/07/2009 14:17

Fecking mahoooosive mate

Although it turns out my actual nipples are more jelly tot type, so I probably was ok with the standard size. I got a large here this site has lots of good advice actually. I liked it. And delivery was very very fast.

PatTheHammer · 19/07/2009 15:05

EPPM if you want a used twice but very clean and sterilised Medela swing then I can send you mine. I have it advertised on the pink place nearly new at the moment for £20 but no takers.

Want it??

It's quite comfy but I am just absolute cack at expressing, always was always will be so I don't need it.

Let me know!

Happy 6mths to Bracken

Oh no HKZ Swine flu???

LOL at trees jellytots

Be back in a bit!

treedelivery · 19/07/2009 15:17

Thats a bargain, one and all

Oh dear HKZ. I went forth onto my hen do with mutters about dignity and being grown up and tastefull.

I floated after an hour and woke with bruises on the palms of my hands and photos showing just how many times I fell over.

treedelivery · 19/07/2009 15:49

Hey HKZ - it is an advanced hangover I suume, and not the oinks??

Faux pas from me if you are ill, as I am assuming you are lying in last nights mascara with a kebab smear on your chops
Pics of any high jinks please

PatTheHammer · 19/07/2009 16:09

Oh, forgot about the hen do.......that explains it then . I second the demand for photos!!!

I used to favour a fried egg sandwich with lashings of brown sauce at moments like that. Plus 2 nurofen with pints of water.

Anyway, made it down to my mums in very quick time this morning. Perhaps DH can stop slagging off my driving now! The DC's were angelic in the car so they obviously prefer my little car as Z always cries in the back of DH's. Just had a very nice 3-course meal cooked by Dad and niow got to wash-up.

Off to Harry Potter tonight, hopefully if Zach settles. Got roped into it by my sis, should be back for the 10.30pm feed so should be fine!

MissJ What a lovely article, must come and visit you now, the country-side sounds enchanting!

Have fun Tink, we will miss you!

No jumperoo yet, am picking up tomorrow morning I hope. Dog your shopping trip sounds fab. Are you really having tit job? Are they looking the worse for wear after 3? Am really hoping mine spring back into shape once I stop feeding Nye (in circa 2011!) - but then will be roll on the next one no doubt .

Pat fried egg sandwich YUM! Also I love fish-finger sammos with mayo and tomato ketchup.

Am soooo tired. Too tired to post properly; forgive me. Spent the day at my Mum's street party - lots of fun - dancing in the street and limbo competition and face-painting etc. Nye loved it. Everyone brought food and sat down for lunch at one massive table - I think it was part of a nationwide 'Big Lunch' thing as I heard something about it on the radio this morning.

Hkz Fizzy COKE is the answer to most hangover-related things I find. Def not the diet stuff though. I can't even remember what a hangover feels like .

Breastpumps - I have an Avent Isis IQ - it's okay but probably a bit too gentle - good being able to set it to mimic you but tbh can do that pretty easily with any electric pump.

Borrowed a Ameda Dual Electric and although rarely used it as a double pump it was fab. Couldn't recommend them highly enough. Gave it back when DS was refusing a bottle as seemed little point expressing, sometimes wish I'd held onto it!

Not sure if that helps anyone thinking of investing.

Have a great time tink. HKZ hangover? I vaguely remember them.... come on give us details!!
Sparkle the abuse was aimed at myself and not you for being so dense. I know know from link it's MissJ and the horses. We had a street party too. So much fun and ds1 had a wail of a time on the bouncy castle.
My funbags are a 30G. Seriously! And I think they will pretty soon be round my ankles..
S has come up in eczema like patches again, the same as he had when they diagnosed dairy allergy. I gave him some toast yesterday for the first time so must be that. for him as no dairy, soya or wheat is not much fun. he woke at 5am tis morning ashe had pooed and then refused to go back to sleep. Got him up at 6 and then he has slept for about an hour max all day! On great form though...little monkey.
Right off to watch mamma mia on vd. I've seen it DH has not, think he will hate it.
Ray hope reunion was lovely. I am not bf and still not having nealry the amount of action as before. I love my DH to bits and fanxcy the pants off him but think I feel like I share myself with the kids all day that I like to have some time to be myself. Does that make any sense?
