June 2007 They're (almost all) two which makes them hard work in a whole new range of ways. But just as adorable!

Unable to sleep thought I'd see what had been going on and saw we were due a new thread. Hope this is OK?

I watch it on sky+ so i can forward the 'wanky' bits . I mostly like the vegetable bits

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 10/07/2009 20:59

That's what we do with Top Gear! (Only Tivo not sky+ and we generally only cut out stars in their cars)

evening.
baby STILL has no damn name, to be honest it is really fucking me off now.
DH wants to call him all weird names, and i just want something nice and boring.

my booooobs hurt
nipples cracked AND bleeding today hurrah. they also dont fit in my 38G nursing bra. i am a tad top heavy. DH looked all horney at them till i smacked him one for even THINKING of touching them

dont worry about the gel packs daisy i was in so much pain today i went out and bought some anyway
thanks for the bits tho.. i love parcels!

today has been hard. i just hurt alot, my ribs and stitches and boobs. kids been really naughty in a cheeky way (not in a rude or destructive way) pushing their luck i think lol.

wish i could spend tomorrow in bed but expecting MIL over. yay....

FrazzledFairyFay · 10/07/2009 21:03

that you are having a hard time Natty.

FrazzledFairyFay · 10/07/2009 21:03

I notice Baby O'Dwyer's name thread mane "Threads of the Day"

Rialentless · 10/07/2009 21:04

thanks fairy. I still don't know what I want TBH, am hoping to be in a 20/22 by then, but I don't know if it's a bit ambitious, I have all sorts of things in that size packed away upstairs, I can't remember if I have anything suitable

daisy - he can't pull with his right (though maybe he should try and use it as physio!). I think the social aspect fo the job will do him more good than anything TBH, I am happy at home in my PJs, but he does like to be out chatting.

I do like polishing glasses, it's just the customers I have a problem with

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 10/07/2009 21:05

Well if MIL is coming over then I think that's the perfect excuse to rest up Natty. After all your DH will have someone to help him with wahtever he needs (given his own health status) and to help with T&E, so you should be free to snuggle down in bed with you new littlie and babymoon away You have just had a baby remember! You have had stitches and need to rest! Sod being a good hostess!

what Jammy said

Toby or Luke?

Should I watch Torchwood on my own, or wait for DH in case I'm scared?

Rialentless · 10/07/2009 21:18

am a bit uneasy tonight. we have neighbours a couple of doors away, a very young couple with a baby. earlier there were visitors (have always assumed them to be GPs to the baby) then a motorbike pulled up and there was lots of swearing etc, motorbike roared off, car followed... then they all came back, with another bloke on a bike who stayed outside having a cuppa. We went to the shop, then came in and watched TV for a bit, thinkthe bikes had gone then, but when I went through for baggins milk, the young couple were getting into a car (minus baby) with what looked like a WPC and another woman. I know I am super-nosy, but all this rowing in the street and police coming round etc makes me really nervous.

FrazzledFairyFay · 10/07/2009 21:19

Ria, that doesn't sound very good

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 10/07/2009 21:22

Ria

OP posts:
Rialentless · 10/07/2009 21:24

he is the same lad who got taken off in a police van at 8am one morning, it is odd. I am probably being judgey though

Two of my DSs names are on Nattys thread

I'm bored and I have no crisps.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 10/07/2009 21:44

me too Ria. We did have crisps (3D ones at that) but apparently DH ate them. So we are having cider and toast instead.

LackaDAISYcal · 10/07/2009 22:23

oh dear Ria, things like that unsettle me as well.

Natty third day blues lovely....it will get better; hang in there. MIL should be doing stuff and making sure that you rest up. If you have to run around after her, then be firm and politely tell her to feck off please go home!

Names, as you already have two lovely traditional names, it'll seem a bit random and off the wall to go for something non traditional.

Maybe your MIL will have some helpful suggestions?

I had crisps....two bags and then a bag of sweeties

justbeme · 10/07/2009 22:53

Many congratulations Natty !
hope all's well with everyone as I havent caught up yet - but am feeling tired after L's party today!
Off to catch up.

Rialentless · 10/07/2009 23:02

hi JBM, hope you and DD had a great day

my bargain of the day today was like these for £2 (but somehow I only paid £1.50) they are SO comfy, and I've always wanted red shoes. If the day comes where I have to shop in proper shops and pay full price for stuff, I will be gutted. (though given I've spent approx 10 whole pounds on 3 pairs of shoes in the last 6 weeks, I've had to sneak them in and pretend I've always had them)

daisy (and anyone else who has taken sertraline), I aren;t getting the hot and sweating so much this time, but I had incredibly dry and sore eyes, dry mouth and feeling of disorientation. have you noticed similar?

Rialentless · 10/07/2009 23:03

don't think I can wait up for DH a moment longer.
Night all. Have a nice Saturday

justbeme · 10/07/2009 23:16

I've taken Sertraline Ria - can't say I've noticed those side effects - but everyone's different.
Im off too - my eyes are stinging!
x

TheNatty · 11/07/2009 09:29

morning all!

ok we are leaning towards charlie. tho i want to call him william or matthew DH is refusing.
and charlie i can get used to i guess

better night here, put a shed load of vaseline on last night and they feel a bit better this morning.

cant believe i made threads of the day

LackaDAISYcal · 11/07/2009 13:22

Coukld you go for Charles William Natty, then call him Will as a pet name and hope it sticks

I've got mastitis . woke up feeling shite and my boob aching. IT's been a bit stingy for a day or so, but I thought it was OK last night.

Bloody night from hell here, bumble awake every half hour. DH was on the sofa and I bailed at 5.30, gabve him the baby and then went back to bed until 10. bumble and DD have some sort of bottom lurgy going on too.

Hey jbm, HAppy Birthday to L

LackaDAISYcal · 11/07/2009 13:24

Ria, I get the dosorientation thing with sertraline; it should pass after trhe forst week or two. I also get it if I forget to take them for a day or two.

shite typing, knackered

LittleMissNorty · 11/07/2009 13:42

Happy birthday to L for yesterday JBM

Happy birthday to E for tomorrow Foxy

I'm knackered as well....but due to my meds....hope it passes soon.

Have good weekends everyone and hope you get some sleep Daisy!

Holly - did you get my e-mail ok? If not, I'll FB you my review

Ohforfoxsake · 11/07/2009 16:06

Thanks

I think you should give DS2 the same as my DS2 Natty. A variation on William.

Sorry to see you've got mastitus again Daisy

Hope you are OK Norty. Fingers crossed it'll pass soon.

Ohforfoxsake · 11/07/2009 16:21

I strongly recommend the Doodle-Do bloke web-chat which went on yesterday if you are need of a good laugh. Just make sure you pop in a Tena before reading. I found it hilarious. Not because of his humour, not because of the top craft tips, but because of the salivating harlots that are MNers being oh so inappropriate. Priceless!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 11/07/2009 17:47

I read part of that thread Foxy

We went shopping today. Rather stressful, but we did get some white sandals (like these only in the sale at Clarks) for jamlet to wear when she is bridesmaid in a couple of weeks.
