evening all

CC tell O well done from us - fingers crossed he's sleeping soundly

Dylan is walking with the aid of fingers iykwim so I don't think we'll be long before we're off - she's also sinking her teeth into sodding everything so I think she's sore at the back - she has a mouthful of teeth and I'm not poking about in there to see what's going on. She was a wee star today at sports day and DD2 had a ball as well. DD1 did us proud and won 3 races and the winners race she was a joy to watch as she was having such a good time AND she's lost her other front tooth so is away to bed with the anticipation of the tooth fairy again - shall have to raid the wellyboot bank again though

had a funding meeting and met with the structural engineer this evening so my head is spinning and I'm pooped. DH away to work so I'm off to bed now

Sambo Thanks for the PERFECT link. That?s exactly what I needed regarding milk.

No1 Thanks for the praise but to get the more food intake during the day I had to delete any feeds during the night. I was blessed with a child that figure out the program in two nights. I feed at 8:30pm (or a little before) then I feed again only after 6:30am.

Captain YAY O!! More teeth to BITE WITH. And crawling

Dizzy YAY! All around at your house!!

Sazzles our dd?s must have channeling each other. Dd1 refused to watch a movie on the drive up so instead she complained every 2 seconds about how long it was taking. OMG! So the short is I?ll trade with you if you?d like.

KeepCalm - MoomimMamma WHO WERE YOU BEFORE THE NAME CHANGE? You?re confusing a tired traveling mother of two with a headache and little patience.

I am now in Bristol, Virginia. Dinner tonight was with my mother?s best friend who I?ve not seen for a few years. She wildly googled me this morning and saw I was on facebook so she created her own facebook account and requested friendship. She couldn?t believe I responded so quickly (facebook addicts usually act quickly regarding things of this nature) and that I was on the way up. She lives just down the road. NEAT NEAT NEAT. Texting with cousins who are scattered in hotels and family residences around the immediate area because we OBVIOUSLY didn?t plan things very well. There?s always next time. Tomorrow is the reunion. Then we?ll drive South to Knoxville. DD1 will be allowed to swim at the pool there IF she behaves. Sunday we will pop over to the zoo where HOPeFULLY my aunt will join us. She?s missing to reunion to hang with girlfriends in Gatlinburg,, Tennessee (DOLLYWOOD) which is just about 30 minutes from the zoo. WHEW! That was quite a summary.

Reese is curled up with Daddy-O sound asleep. Dd1 is watching back to back cartoon episodes of the Penguins from Madigascar which I might add is TOTALLY HILLARIOUS!

Wishing all a good night and a happy weekend.

Catch you on FB!

Morning [yaaaawwwwn]
Been awake since 3am with a very tearful ds, so as dd woke up from the screams,we are now all up.
I offered him bf & water. He screamed at both offers. He is cutting a tooth at the top so could be that, or he wants ff,but I am not going to offer him a bottle till after 6.
Dont care if I am being cruel tbh as I have a perfectly good boob to offer so can't be that hungry.

I even put my ipod in to drown out the cries but felt sorry for dd who was at the side of me listening to it

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 27/06/2009 05:34

Just to add, I did try to console him. You know the cuddle/pat/shush/rock. Then pick up/put down leave to cry.don't leave to cry etc.....
blaaahhh
Claudia has just been in the fridge and is on her second red velvet cupcake [bad mummy]
and Ds is now inspecting the poor dog's nails
Is that bad use of an apostrophe???
because I really am confused now!
Oh and notice I didn't over do it with the exclamation mark as I'm not commom dontcha know

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 27/06/2009 05:50

sambo just thinking about the BBQ
You could do caramalized fruit kebabs
Lots of nice fruit, peaches and nectarines look yummy coated in brown sugar
mmmm all sticky and gooey
Also slit open a banana carefully, poke in some bits of chocolate and wrap in tin foil put on BBQ.
Never tried any of this though

Will think about the main course

veg skewers in pitta bread, stuffed peppers, large flat cap mushrooms drizzles with olive oil...

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 27/06/2009 05:54

Morning vg How are you

Miamla · 27/06/2009 06:41

morning

Miamla · 27/06/2009 06:44

no1 call me nosey but how come one of your posts have been deleted?

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 27/06/2009 07:09

Hi, Its because I put my mobile number up and then thought it was a bad idea. oops deleted it for me as I didn't know how.

ds is now asleep, dd awake but getting frustrated. Off to have a cuddle.

KeepCalm · 27/06/2009 07:13

lovelylovelypf please don't be a stranger, we need you (no pressure through )

TS all sounds fab, I love it when a plan comes together!

No1 and VG can I join you on the early call - wasn't as bad as No1, I was 4am but with DD2 in bed with me I couldn't bring her in and smother snuggle her back to sleep. DD2 needless to say is still snoozing and DD1 just up. She's wet overnight so I obviously haven't cracked it (a tad optimistic considering it was only night 2) but she's happy as a pig in muck with her £1 from tooth fairy

No1 did you get a recipe for the cream cheese frosting? I'm so sorry I forgot all about it - hope they turned out ok

I have DD1's very early birthday party tomorrow, her b'day isn't until 7th but school breaks up here on thurs and her wee pals all seem to leave to go on holiday straight away she was distraught that nobody was going to be here for her party (she's only getting to have 5 friends) so we brought it forward, it also meant its not the same weekend as the christening SO will have to get some stuff organised for it.

we're going here which is a very regular haunt of ours but we're not using their party tent as no point really, we'll just sit in the middle of the park and they can come and go as they please. its at 2pm so I was thinking of just taking snacks and juice for the kids and making some cakes for the grown ups?

Miamla I think her post contained No1's mobile number so I could text her some ingredients

morning everyone else - toast and jam only here as we've no milk DH bringing it home on his way from work and he's not back yet

KeepCalm · 27/06/2009 07:18

oh and twas I with the name changing, sorry Sazz, DD1 started shouting in her sleep so I wasn't being evasive, I just nipped up to deal with her and didn't make it back down!!

when I went up I nipped into our room to drop off some ironing before going into the girls room, went through and made sure DD1 was just shouting in her sleep as usual, turned to lift DD2 through to the bathroom for a wee and she wasn't there

went back through to mine and there she was tucked up underneath a pillow in the middle of our kingsized bed so I hadn't seen her when I'd been barging about previously - had a split second of panic when I couldn't find here though, I know you're probably all wondering where I thought she could have gone because she's only 3 but being as its DD2 I wouldn't put it past her to stick a pillow under her duvet, scale out the velux and nip off clubbing - she looks a lot older than her 3yrs [don't know why I'm laughing as its going to happen emoticon]

dizzydixies · 27/06/2009 07:20

is it me this time!?!?

twas I trying on the new name

dizzydixies · 27/06/2009 07:24

sambo can't beat a good baked potato!

you could do some roasted med veggies and have them with caramelised onion hummous from Tesco - tis one of my current obsessions when we BBQ I try to take some pressure of DH by having nice breads/dips/salads/quiche or tart as well so he doesn't feel we're all sitting watching his every move for food will have a further think about it

raining here today - better not be raining tomorrow, its rained on DD1's birthday party day the last two years and you think we'd be safe enough in July - this is Scotland I suppose

have to drive today to go and get her birthday cake so don't mind the rain, at least I'm not wasting a glorious day doing it
