dizz i am sitting here with a tear in my eye because i'm that pleased that you didn't die in your sleep! And you're quite right, you're the least prone to melodrama out of all of us!

Buckets - my mum has one a diesel and it is great - she is about to sell hers as there are only 3 at home now.

back in a bit sky man has arrived with my HD box

alittlebitshy · 22/06/2009 10:54

Lol dizzy. Am very glad you didn't die in your sleep. did dh check on you in the morning?!

dizzydixies · 22/06/2009 10:57

yes thank you ALBS, well he handed me the baby for a feed so I think that was it to be fair he's in court today and now shattered so I hope he's not getting a grilling [meep]

oopsacoconut · 22/06/2009 12:57

DIzzy so very pleased you have been snatched from the jaws of death - have you had a choccie to celebrate?

I have just collected my new car and am very

Poor DD has had her sleep disturbed everytime she has tried poor chicken, first the skyman then DH with the new car keys, in DH's car, out at the post office, in again, out to get in new car, and finally out at home and she's too hungry to sleep.

Making homemade roasted veggie ravioli for lunch for DD and dinner for us.

Is that new car smell I smell?

YaY EMMA!! The new tooth looks FAB!

Buckets I will be in Bristol this weekend. Bristol, Virginia that is.

Dizzy it was very nice of you dh to check on you just in case.

Expectant we are like ships.... Have a good night. I'm sure you've had an exhausting day.

Reese went to bed (on her own choosing) at 7:30pm. She woke once and fussed for about 2 minutes. By 5:30am I was concerned she'd been without food for too long so I brought her into bed with me, fed her, then we both went back to sleep until 8:30am. I feel confident our sleep/feeding pattern is established. I'm taking pride in my momminess.

cyteen · 22/06/2009 14:19

Sounds like you have cracked it TS (and a little bit at your resolve - if only I wasn't so wishy-washy and lazy, I think I could probably effect something similar).

dizzy how pleased I am that you didn't die? I mean, where would we get our cakespiration from then, eh? Does sound nasty though - random pain is scary, especially when it's that severe. I've had a few similar go-on-without-me-I'm-slowing-you-down swoony moments over the years.

Had a lovely time at soft play, then a lovely lunch with NCT friend and her nearly-one-year-old How did that happen? It only seems like yesterday we were popping them all out.

DS now asleep so I should probably be something more constructive than MNing and listening to music...oh well.

gall bladder apparently the symptoms I described are commonly associated with a problem with the gall bladder and it can be so bad it feels like a heart attack [meep] am off to google but am quite convinced it will be because of the poor meal choice last night and the fact am lardy will be back once I've scaredmyselfwitless googled

but thank you all for your lovely concern you're all just lovely

dizzydixies · 22/06/2009 14:33

oh ffs - I don't stand a fecking chance it most common in people who are

  1. obese
  2. women
  3. on the contraceptive pill
  4. have ever been pregnant/given birth

pain just below the ribs on the RHS - check
pain became worse over an hour and stayed the same - check
accompanied by nausea - check
lasted for up to 3 hrs - check
triggered by eating fatty foods - check

right, have self diagnosed - anyone else suffering from anything - the Dr is in the house

dizzydixies · 22/06/2009 14:36

cyteen - there was nothing swoony about it, it was all self pity and the shame of the undertakers seeing me naked running through my head

Miamla · 22/06/2009 16:08

hello Dr, I have a rumble in my tummy, what would you prescribe?

dizzydixies · 22/06/2009 16:12

something cool and soothing to aid with your poorly bot - a magnum white perhaps

Miamla · 22/06/2009 16:17

oh you silly, we were worrying about bum last week, its 'knee' week this week! i reckon a magnum white will still help though

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 22/06/2009 17:53

Goodness dizzy that sounds awful.Step away from google. I hope you are feeling better, but I think a trip to the dr would be a good idea.
cyteen glad you had a lovely day, I was thinking earlier how soon we will be celebrating 1st birthdays but
where does the time go.
expectant it is worrying when they don't eat anything and easy for me to say try not to get anxious about it. How is his milk intake????
yay for the 1st tooth minisazzles and lol at all this camping talk. I have to admit as a child I loved it, festivals I loved it, but now think I prefer a Tent that you can stand up in to get changed. Dont fancy going back to the tiny 2 man tents that you struggle to change your knickers in.(even though thyey are cosy)
My dh is the same as oops he will never ever camp. So I have to go with my sister.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 22/06/2009 17:56

oops lovely new car. Nice.
ts well done on the sleep front.
DH went in to settle ds when he woke around 4/5 for the first time(not sure as I didnt hear him wake ) he settled him. So was a good night.
sambo I am so pleased to hear you had a good night too and hope it continues. Allotment sounds great.

ds sat here wolfing down pasta, tuna and pesto. DD fell asleep coming back from supermarket in the pram (yes I walked)
so she in bed. probably big mistake, but couldnt wake her up.
