fruit juice is giving me awful heartburn but i have to take my spatone in it. any ideas which fruit juice would be less acidic?

Apple juice?

yeah i have some in cupboard might try that.
any ideas if gaviscon is ok after fruit jiuce? or would it curdle like milk does and make me queasy?

DP's have taken DT2 tonight to even things out from last week when they had DT1. Have been having hellish nights so hopefully just getting up to one will give me a break. But best get off to bed now & make the most of it.

Just before I go, Natty - why do you have to take the spatone in fruit juice? Is it cos of the taste or to aid the absorbtion of the iron. Cos if it's the latter then when I was in hosp after DTs I was extremely aenemic & they gave me tablets to take along with the iron to help absorb it. I think they were basically vit C but can check for the name tomorrow if you're interested. Also the antacids stop you absorbing iron so you have to lay off the gaviscon for a few hours after the spatone. Right royal PITA, this pregnancy lark.

spatone is cos they say im anemic again and the tablets make me sick, so i have had to shell out for spatone
