natty, might be worth checking there isn't a wasp nest in the house. We had one in the wall cavity above the window.

yay for Le Manoir Jammy

I have been to see the pyhsio this morning for my "wee" issue. spent 20 mins hooked up via a rather kinky looking probe to a computer to assess my pelvic floor muscles. Apparently I have some but they are just very very weak. I have to do my pelvics every two hours through the day and go back for reassessment in three weeks.

My thoughts too Natty. Council may sort wasps, or landlord.

Jammy Even I'd put out for Le Manoir!

You've put me right off my trip to the docs Daisy. Am clenching.

FrazzledFairyFay · 24/04/2009 18:35

6:35pm, both DCs in bed (admittedly DS is still crashing around), and I have a glass of wine and the Chinese menu. Result

Ohforfoxsake · 24/04/2009 19:05

Bliss Fairy! 10 years ago that was most definately not my idea of a good time on a Friday night. But now... sounds like heaven

FrazzledFairyFay · 24/04/2009 19:07

Foxy. Even better, I have my unopened Hotel choc tasting box for afters

HellHathNoFury · 24/04/2009 19:11

DS is a 6.5G
Big feet. Like Dad. Dad is a UK 12. Buying shoes is often quite entertaining as most shops only go up to an 11.

Been at a conference in W1 all day today, done nursery run, cooked, cleaned up, fed dog, been to bank, organised BBQ with friends, by myself.
DH out with mates.
Am knackered.

FrazzledFairyFay · 24/04/2009 19:26

DS is a 7, and has been for nearly 6 months . His summer shoes consist of Doodles bought for £5 at Clarks outlet, £9 sandals from Sainsburys (with flashing lights in the sole, which makes his sister ) and some Chipmunk beach shoes bought from an ebay shop. Despite all those, he mostly wants to wear his wellies

HellHathNoFury · 24/04/2009 19:33

7! Jaysus that IS impressive!

FrazzledFairyFay · 24/04/2009 19:37

Like yours, my DH has size 12 feet. I also have size 9 feet, so not really surprising that we breed bigfoots

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 24/04/2009 19:42

Good grief, I just made us a biryiani and now my mouth is on fire, even after additional yoghurt!

HellHathNoFury · 24/04/2009 20:09

Fairy you are SIZE NINE

OMG

LackaDAISYcal · 24/04/2009 20:10

No idea Daisy, sorry

I know Fury, I have been since the age of 12 , Holly has size 9 feet too, which makes me feel less freakish. Talking of which, where has Holly been recently?

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 24/04/2009 21:02

Yes, my gigantic feet are of much amusement to all!! In fact just half an hour ago dp told me what manly feet I have . We wear the same size shoes, in fact I think my feet are slightly bigger than his! Ds is about a 6.5 and is as tall as most of the three year olds at toddlers. Dd has about average feet I think, about a 8-8.5, but she is really quite tall too. I can't buy her long trousers as they are way too short. She lives in cropped trousers and dresses, which is ok by me, she looks scrumptious in them!

Hi everyone!

We've all been ill, I've had a proper dodge tummy for about 2 weeks and it is still making its presence felt, so haven't really felt like sitting still at the computer for long periods of time. Hence the absence. Hope everyone is well.

I think dp is gonna chuck me off in a sec, so this may be a fleeting visit!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 24/04/2009 21:03

PS you are not a freak fairy, if we didn't have such large feet we would fall over! I have a friend who is 6'1" with size 5 feet, now she is a freak!

LackaDAISYcal · 24/04/2009 21:06

holly....I was just thinking about you the other day . I need to send your cocoon back to you. and also, can you (or anyone else for that matter) email/FB me the link for commenting on the duplo....I have lost the bit of paper that came with the duplo and am aware that I haven't done it yet....don't want you to get in trouble with the chap from duplo for not meeting the brief!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 24/04/2009 21:13

I haven't done our duplo review yet either but I do have the bit of paper - its legoduplo.dbmblogs.co.uk

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 24/04/2009 21:13

That's ok daisy, what with being ill and everything I haven't sorted the Duplo stuff out yet either. I'll fb everyone with the details of what to do, prob tomorrow. No rush with the cocoon, I'll be selling the P&T in a couple of months I think, esp (fingers crossed) if I get picked to test something big for M&B. Dp will go crazy if I end with 6 pushchairs again!!

How are you anyhoo? How's the feeding going? Are you all healed from your op now?

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 24/04/2009 21:14

Hi Jammy, thanks for that! I had it on an email somewhere, but it would have taken a while to find it!

LackaDAISYcal · 24/04/2009 21:22

I'm good. Feeling fit after the op although the infected wound is still a bit inflamed and itchy. Feeding is going really well and he has started a bit of solid stuff as well . I'm doing a BFing video next week for the local PCT so quite excited (and nervous) about that, especially if I can get a plug in for my peer support group as the NHS have been arsey with our director in the past and have gotten involved through the back door

OP posts:
LackaDAISYcal · 24/04/2009 21:23

thanks for the link jammy

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 24/04/2009 21:25

And thanks for the reminder Daisy. I have just been on and added some comments to the other reviews.

I co-ran a play session at our children's centre this afternoon. It was the first time I'd done that, but it went OK. It was the first Friday afternoon session they've done so was fairly quiet, which was good while us volunteer mums find our way around the craft supplies and kitchen And I've volunteered to do it again the next 2 weeks as well

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 24/04/2009 21:25

Glad you are ok. How old is bumble now? Doesn't time fly when you are having fun ?!

LackaDAISYcal · 24/04/2009 21:26

oh, and I'm hoping for something big from M&B as well........although I still have double buggies to sell. Need to get them listed, but might keep the graco one as a cheapy for the school run. I am trying to get a refund for the P&T as I've had nothing but trouble with ripping covers and have had enough. The seller has gone strangely quiet though .

Am stuck what to do though as the P&T was the ideal solution for us....thinking about a mountain buggy instead as we love the off road capabilities, and DH can carry DD or bumble in the baby backpack.
