SPB - fingers crossed that T's sleeping is the start of a pattern!

SOL - hope the scan goes well for your mum, glad she's feeling well atm.

MJ - don't know how you do it. I think I'd sleep all day if I could atm.

My birth pool arrived today. Haven't unpacked box yet as waiting for G to be safely tucked up in bed first.
Also got a sat nav which means I can be a bit more adventurous in my Manchester wanderings. It's still all so HUGE and unfamiliar.

I washed some newborn stuff today. It's dawned on me that I'm due in 5 weeks and need to get organised.

SIL went into hospital today. ILs in London to look after Eva. All so it's hard to know what to say or do. Dh was in tears over weekend - he just feels so bad for his sister.

Just catching up quickly - am so busy with work etc atm. At the weekend we had a birthday party - for the renal unit It was really good actually and I enjoyed it but I was also utterly, utterly exhausted! Bit better today but then had frustrating day at work shouting at patient transport.

Leaky - am very about your sil news. How terrible for you all.

Elkie - so glad to hear C is doing so well - well done you

Pesha - Childminding plans sound good!

ok - better go put the recycling out and pack B off to bed.

wow leaky only 5 weeks it must be heartbreaking seeing what your sil is going through

mj - I couldn't do nights

Okay so today I have:

• worked 10 hours
• got kids up, fed breakfast, fed dinner, bathed, washed hair and put to bed
• cooked dinner
• washed nappies and hung on drier
• hoovered downstairs

I am knackered, and I want someone to make me a cup of tea [stamps foot]!

How's everyone else?!

Oh, and now I'm doing the shopping online (although DH has started it) - it's all glamour here I can tell you!

Inspired by another MNer I told DH there was a leak in the shower this morning (he sealed it over the weekend). He opened it to find a leek with a sticker saying "APRIL FOOL" on it
Well I laughed

How big is your birthing pool? Don't think I would ever have room for one in my house, it would have taken over my lounge!! Not that I am ever likely to need one anyway!
Can't believe you only have five weeks to go either, it seems to have flown by.

I am feeling better today, I was asleep by 9pm last night and slept through until 7am when the alarm woke me, could have slept for longer too!

Boo! Sorry I've not been around, sooo busy and then computer wouldn't let me MN for two days

Well, it looks like we're out of luck on the LazyTown costumes. Dh is a tad relieved, although J told him he could be Spiderman instead (grin)

Have to say, we didn't actually do anything with our CTF, and one got opened automatically for us. We've just been putting bits aside into a regular childrens account.

And Happy (belated) Birthday to all our beautiful babies

Well I've taken the kitchen blinds down and hosed them down in the garden. Cleaned the 2 inches of dirt from the windows behind, and alost finished putting them back up (can't find the screwhole!) so feeling very pleased with myself!

no, nesting implies cleaning stuff that doesn't really need to be cleaned - this is something I've been planning to do since November 2007

And I've lost one of the screws, despite making a big effort to make sure they landed somewhere sensible

SOL, I think a very stern frown is needed in the direction of oooggs for her comment about Radio 2! Nothing wrong with easy listening for the over 30's! I say that as a fellow listener btw

I love listening to Radio 2 in the mornings Dh was dismayed to hear me chuckling away to Terry Wogan....it was nearly the end of our marriage

Radio 1 all the way with me (and besides Terry Wogan does my head in lol)

Radio 1 in this house (no surprise there), esp love sunday morning lie-in and wonder years on a friday!

How is C sleeping -any better?

Nope - still crap, but he is cutting his last 4 teeth, all of them, together, at the same time...so that might explain it. They have broken the skin so hopefully it'll be sorted soon.

On the plus side we are going on holiday to tenerife in 4 weeks time - all inclusive, plus grannies are coming too so babysitters on tap some people to share charlie with!
