DH is home now - hurrah - so he can help with supper and cubs. He's hoping i can help him in the study this evening - v happy to but how to fit it around vomit patrol/nursing vomity baby/dealing with no sleep

I'm finally beginning to emerge from the total fog of exhaustion that has dogged me for the last three months - actually managed to do Alex's breakfast this morning (it was dh's birthday so he got a lie in!).

Essie, well done for starting a list - although I think you mean Babypearls is one of the oldest don't you?!

Thanks for asking Rolf (am so crap at asking after people- must try harder.) Babypearls is on the mend- leaps and bounds since I stopped having to give her a bloody inhaler. Or maybe it was MIL departure that made her realise how good she's got it with me

Can you believe how many of us are still here on the thread? I hope we stay on it together forever until we are all old biddies talking about how ungrateful our kids are!!

I can seriously say after my three hours last night that I have NEVER been so tired and feel like I'm on medication. Luke's cough is just as bad as it was (people staring on train - what can I do??) so another sleepless night for me. Puree have decided to do lunch even if I get no sleep at all so I don't become nocturnal.

I met a friend today who has a 4 week old baby that only wakes up once in the night for a feed and then sleeps until 9.30. I must say that filled me with joy. Her mother looked all glowing and radiant and she is already in pre preggo jeans. Her baby is also cute and not at all ugly which I had hoped for as seething with jealousy about sleep and weight loss. Ho hum.

Rolf I am dying with anticipation at your reformatting idea - what is it? (seriously am - no hint of sarcasm at all!!)

You know, mess around with tabs n stuff. So it looks like a table. I have 2 contenders.

Bet the woman has killer piles and that her baby will get really bad cradle cap and baby acne within the month (none of these things happened to me, oh no).

I don't know whether the formatting stays when you cut and paste the list Rolf. I remember doing loads of formatting on our ante-natal list and then as soon as someone copied it, it all disappeared!

Now see I am DESPERATE to re-do the list but am afraid I am on Rolf's list of anal people who really want to do it so have restrained myself.

I anticipate that I will crack before the evening is out though...

Somehow I got into a bit of sex education discussion with Stefan tonight, about how babies are made, I wasn't intending to, it just popped out and I ummed and aahed a bit, Stefan said" You don't really know what happens do you Mummy?"

lol Deb. DS2 started asking the other day and then gave me a long speech about sperm and eggs.

I'm getting a bit worried actually. She's been sick twice in the last few hours and her fever has come back - it's 38.9. We're going to give her paracetamol and ibuprofen (I can give those together, right?)

Re wedding dress have ordered this one I am going to add an olive green organza petticoat to it and hitch one side of the skirt up to the waist to reveal the petticoat and add a few olive green beads flowers to tie in with wedding colours which is olive green ,cream and grey.
Dont know how come they are sooo cheap but I love them and they are different and within budget!!!
Had to find a flattering wedding dress post pregnancy!!!!

Well off to bed feeling crap today with hayfever allergy!!! If its not one thing its another is this normal after pregnancy to keep getting ill?

When Ethan was poorly before I alternated Calpol and Ibuprofen and the Dr here asked why, he said that with a fever they're both doing the same thing so no need to alternate.

Wish me luck today, I am braving the village toddler group and I'm scared. The things you do for your children eh? he doesn't see any other small children and when my friend was here on Sunday with her toddler, and the toddler was taking toys off Ethan it made me realise that I need to take him or he'll never get used to sharing toys etc..
