Morning, feeling crap here - got period cramps and a cold suddenly. Put Kurt in a disposable last night and it leaked right through his grobag, then he woke up at 6.30 anyway. DH gave me a lie in til 9am though so could be worse. He's now gone out for the day so me and the kids are doing a proper pyjama day.

Burlesque night was a real hoot, got to try on a corset which felt like being 9m pg again but without the weight and backpain. Apparently you can get them in Primark for under a tenner! My friends raised £600 in total so that's nice.

Morning all.

Squashed like bugs, eh?? I don't THINK so, dixies .

We had two wake-ups which chez Gardenia = sleeping through so if the blardy dog hadn't been barking for no reason at 6am we'd be doing pretty well!

cc he was probably trying to be "hilarious" in manner of irritating, overly-jolly actual dullard.

Ann glad you had a chat though he really ought to have apologised for shouting & swearing, sore bum bear or not.

Well done Dylan! Miamla now you've taken your daffodil out from behind our ear I expect to see a) some St Patrick's Day diddly-eye, and b) a nice Irish name.

Expectant poor little duck, hope he's well again soon. What about a new name for you, too, unless there's something you want to tell us

Buckets trot out the Greek pics, give us a treat!

SibhaShillelaghUnderYourArm · 14/03/2009 10:54

Sorry you're not feeling great Buckets, though the pyjama day sounds good, and the burlesque night sounds fab too.

Have you got another fab thread title for us as we're on the brink of the precipice ...

GreenGardenia · 14/03/2009 10:55

Happy birthday Sibh! We need TS now to give you one of her cakes made out of em dashes and brackets. Lucky you, a snot-free card!

AnnVan · 14/03/2009 11:21

Oohhow about Aug 08: fine and dandy with matchsticks handy.

Happy birthday Sibh!!

cyteen · 14/03/2009 11:38

Great thread title Ann!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIBH [champagne] [streamers]

Expectant that is exactly what the last two nights have been like for us too - fast asleep in seconds as soon as you pick him up, heartbroken wailing as soon as you put him down. It's this poxy virus he's got, we've had nearly a week of horrid green diarrhoea (sorry for breakfast TMI) and his poor bum is so red and sore He spent the whole night in bed with us last night, we were all knackered so it seemed the path of least resistance.

Well done to all the better sleepers though

Buckets glad you had a good night out to balance the rubbish period cramps. I myself am feeling hungover a tad delicate today after a whole two glasses of expensive Viognier last night.

Off to get hair cut in a bit, hopefully Joe will sleep in the pram as his sore bum is also interfering with naps - been up since 6.30 and had two 10 minute zeds

kentDee · 14/03/2009 11:40

Happy Birthday Sibh

Bad luck Cyteen better luck next time.

Oops and No1 where are photos of your lovely new hair then? [

Buckets I saw one of you basqed up on facebook, you look fab

Everyone, have a lovely weekend

Sounds like one or two babies had better than expected sleep last night, yay. Although DS was awake and crying at 8.30 and 9pm after going to bed at 8, he then slept till 4 and then 6.30 so quite remarkable here too . Must have been the lager-filled milk he was having - my trip to work ended up as a short meeting then a long afternoon in the pub, was very nice. Although have vague sick feeling now (definitely not lager-induced) as office politics and general shitness still verymuch in operation and don't really want my job back but can't think of what I actually do want to do. Moan over

Off to the shop to get some chocolate. TS is on her way to Florida, she'll never notice

LoveBuckets · 14/03/2009 17:00

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 14/03/2009 19:23

Happy Birthday sibh hope you have had a wonderful day.
cc he was a cheeky fecker indeed.I am for you.

Welcome kentdee how are you finding motherhood??
well done for those with good nights, hugs and symapthy for those with not so good nights.

expectant hope you managed to get to see doc and everything is ok.
cyteen hope you are feeling better today and you have got the test booked again, and your poor might with the sore bum. hope he is ok too.
hope you enjoyed the pyjama day buckets

I am knackered very tired now. both dcs in bed fast asleep. I have had 2 parties to go to today. dd friends 2nd birthday party at a soft play centre, then my dnephew 1st birthday at another pub/play place.
I was hoping dd would fall asleep in the car between pubs as we were up at 6am then out for 9 as dh on nights. She stayed awake all day had a mini meltdown at the second place but a cuddle from my dad soon sorted her out. Bless sher she was so worn out.
DS was trying to grab everything off my plate.
I sent it back as it was cold, came back again and half still cold. So just left it.
I never complain, would rather just get refund or leave it. Scared what they may do to it in the kitchen.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 14/03/2009 19:48

aaghhhh I killed the thread

oopsRonanOGarascoconuts · 14/03/2009 20:16

Hi All

Well DD ate like a ravenous wee beastie tonight - a bowl of pasta with curry sauce then a whole yoghurt with a full feed 30mins before and a full feed 30 mins after - if this doesn't make her sleep through she never will!!!

CC - Was he carrying a white stick??

Cyteen - Sorry about the test.

Kentdee - welcome and join the madness

No1 - wine o'clock?????

Dizzy - commiserations

Sibh - HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Ann - glad you chat went okay but he really should be a grown up and apologise. Hopeing Seb sleeps tonight.

Expectant - Hugs for you and DS hope he is feeling better soon.
