April 2005 babies!!!

Hi

Howz everyone doing?

Darcie is doing well but losing abit of weight after she put it on after inital weight loss but okay other than that.

would post a picture but don't know how!

I've only just found this thread! Hope Darcie settles soon, Gem.

Mine are 3 weeks now, and very up and down, they've been really good today, but keep going thru feeding frenzies and cry on/off for about 4 hours in the evening. I've got one down to two night feeds, but the other seems to be going thru a growth spurt and feeds 5/6 times at night.

I'm a bad mummy, I can't face taking two babies to baby clinic, but I can see their clothes are getting tighter. They've been to mother and toddler group tho!

ah lockets, Saskia sounds like Maddie. Why do they have such an aversion to the moses basket??? Wind has also kicked in so tossing up whether to use infacol or not. Anyone else tried it successfully?

Hi everyone

How r u all and howz your gorgeous babies?

Darcie is doing well and is starting to put weight on, is drinking 6oz per bottle now and is getting really chubby . She has been to bumps and babies group and loved it we made a rattle!!!

Can't believe she is 4 weeks on wednesday.

yay thats me eventually joining you all over here. alana is great sleeping and feeding well although she didnt take to the breast at all just screamed for 3 days without eating only got a wee bit that i expressed but she loves her food now. shes just having a sleep at the mo so sitting on here for a few mins just trying to catch up with the news

Hi

Darcie is doing great, she is now on 7oz per bottle was only on 6oz for a day!!!!

She was registered last monday and daddy arrived as he said he would and before we went in i asked if he would like to meet his daughter and he said no, he didn't look at her or even acknowldge her!

But she is doing great and was weighed last thursday and was 7lbs 12oz.

Hello everyone - just got a min to post on here!!! Glad to hear all the babes are doing Ok - Gem sorry about Darcies Daddy - he may have a change of heart though you never know. She does have a great Mum though! Ryan is gaining weight - 3 oz 1st week and 5 1/2 2nd week , can't believe he will be 3 weeks on Sunday!!! Bit difficult to settle after his night feeds sometime, but last night he slept from his 2.30am feed round to about 7am which was fantastic!!! Bet he wont do that tonight though ..... Well done to those that have ventured to mum and baby group - it's all I can manage to pop to my neighbours for a cuppa and a chat which is exactly what I am about to do when DS1 is home from nursery. Have a great BH everyone - catch up next week.

Lockets i know his loss, i wasn't going to apply for maintenance but after that i did!!!

She has been to mother and babygroup for 2 weeks now and she loves it, so do i coz she stays awake for most of the day and sleeps all nite!! .

Sounds like Saskia is doing well

Hello,
Its great to hear babies are doing well. I've weighed the dts on the kitchen scales and they've both put on about 3lb. They're 5 weeks now - time is flying. They can only just squeeze into newborn clothes now and look more alike as they fill out. They aren't good sleepers but we're survieving!!
akshay is on infacol, he's quite sensitive to what I eat and so prone to colic. It's helped loads.

glad to hear the baby news

Esther is doing great - gone 11 oz past her bithweight now so she is a truly whopping 10lb 10oz. the cute newborn stuff i bought her has long been thrown to one side. she is sitting on my knee staring up at me now - so cute!

she has had teenage style acne for the past week or so but it seems to be improving now.

gotta run - dd1 just in from nursery - she's acting up big time recently so needs lots of tlc

Jamie hasn't told his family about Darcie so they don't know they have a gorgeous addition to the family!

Yeah am on waiting list for Block of flats down the road there are 6 people in front of me!

Am trying to add a photo of Darcie in Profiles but keeps telling me to big!

Darcie is an angel she is so content, is awake for most of the day and sleeps all nite, but stirs and has to come in with me for half of it!!

Do u have to rub it in!!

Mine winge most of the morning and most of the evening, feed and sleep whenever the hell they want to. This includeds midnight playtimes lasting two hours or so. Things can only get better!
