Sazzles, please tell me how you manage to bath DD1 and Emma in same bath. Does Emma have a special somethingorother you use or do you just dip her in? Been trying to figure the duo bath thing out for a couple of weeks now. Reese gets a bath her a baby tub at the moment. Just hate dragging it out. NOT A LOT OF ROOM for me, her and the tub in the bathroom.

dizzyjingles · 17/12/2008 21:59

he can be when the mood takes him

oopsIstuffedaturkey · 17/12/2008 22:01

He really is lovely though he brought me flowers!

dizzyjingles · 17/12/2008 22:02

oops can your FIL talk as fast as that bloke today, I had difficulty working out what was going on AND dh was worried I'd bought about 6 cars with my flapping and hand movements

TS Dylan sits in a bath seat IN the bath but she's about to grow out of it - its wonderful though, will try to find a link

TwilightSurferChristmasAngel · 17/12/2008 22:07

Yes Dizzy Wonderful News on the Car.

My boys have lost out completely too. By boys I mean my male cats. When dd1 was 4 months they got the boot and were moved out of doors. They have a kitty door in the garage where they eat, sleep and generally hang out when they please. I hated scooting them outside but cat hair and messes were causing me headaches on top of having a newborn. My girl kitty (the eldest of the group) is declawed so she got to stay in side. She's not much trouble and curls up to sleep with me at night....cleaning my forhead. I remember a time when they got loads of attention, brushed daily and played with. Now it's HEY and a quick rub in passing. At least they have a good home.

That Santa letter needs a bit of rewritting. I'd toss out the part about the kids helping out and add a full service cleaning crew daily. Somehow the full service chef got left out too. And the massage therapist, accupuncturist, OH and the personal trainer. yes I must have an edit session now.

TwilightSurferChristmasAngel · 17/12/2008 22:08

hmmmm bath seat.....

SazzlesIsASleighBell · 17/12/2008 22:08

oops, Just fill an Xmas stocking with a couple of tins, then a good thwack round the head should do it. Then remove flowers from hands and place in vase

TS no fancy gadgets here. DD1 sits at one end of the bath and i plonk Emma in and support her with one hand under the back of her head/neck. She then flaps around with her legs and gurgles away. DD1 'helps' washing Emma with the sponge - 'tis very cute. She is only in for a few minutes though, until my back gives way

dizzy I always like hearing cattle auctions - the speed and language is mad, although i find you can actually tune into it but takes quite a lot of concentration

dizzyjingles · 17/12/2008 22:10

sazz in my job I have to monitor up to 5 radio channels with people all speaking as well as all the background noise etc and yet I STILL got over excited and couldn't work it out

no wonder DH doesn't let me out on my own!!!

no1putsantaupthechimney · 17/12/2008 22:12

thanks sazzles Sounds similar to mine apart from dh cant settle ds as he wont take a bottle all the time and he can only settle dd if she is very very tired.

I am going to have a shower and wash hair now as I have busy day tomoro. dd xmas party at toddler gropu tomorow, as my friend runs the group, I said I would be there extra early to help with food and things. I can hardly say no as she has twins to deal with too.

I am so excited, but I bet dd will freak when she sees father christmas
I am going to be so cruel taking ds in his xmas pudding outfit

dizzyjingles · 17/12/2008 22:13

TS this

although will try to find a better pic

dizzyjingles · 17/12/2008 22:14

is that better?

no1putsantaupthechimney · 17/12/2008 22:14

I too have the bath seat, but dont always use it. I tend to lean over and as sazzles says break my back.

dizzyjingles · 17/12/2008 22:16

I had to laugh at the fact they're saying you can use it up to aged 1?!?!? Dylan is 20wks and is about out of it

have a lovely time at the party No1 and photos of wee Marcus the pudding please

TwilightSurferChristmasAngel · 17/12/2008 22:20

that looks a lot like the little tub i have for reese but i don't put it in the tub with dd1. i'm going to research this concept though. i also am going to have to break own and get a high chair or similar device.

dizzyjingles · 17/12/2008 22:21

am considering a high chair too TS my two have trip trap seats which are fab but no use until you're of a certain age

cyLENTeeNIGHT · 17/12/2008 22:26

How funny Sazz, Joe loves the bathroom floor too What is it that is so alluring about bathroom floors?

Baby now in bed and modest vat of wine consumed...I feel almost human again

dizzyjingles · 17/12/2008 22:28

if you have bathrooms like ours I would imagine its maybe the lights? ours is lit up like an airport runway and the rest of the house has a more flattering subtle thing going on

SazzlesIsASleighBell · 17/12/2008 22:46

Ours has inset spots but so does our bedroom, the dining room, utility room (can you tell we have v low ceilings ). I think it is because it is definitely the warmest room in our cold house and also has a thick carpet (yes i know people freak at carpets in bathrooms - TS is probably leaping a mile high at this very moment shouting NOOOOOOOO, but i like the warmth and snugness when getting out of the bath so i'm keeping it!) Oh, and clearly Emma loves it too, so she has VERY good taste IMO

dizzy Marcus Pudding pics on profile

Think I just heard dd fall out of bed

dizzyjingles · 17/12/2008 22:46
no1putsantaupthechimney · 17/12/2008 22:47

Sazzles we had carpet, then changed to travatine (sp?) wish we had carpet now as is very cold.

SazzlesIsASleighBell · 17/12/2008 22:48

Oh buggery bollcks, Emma stirring now (just after DH has gone downstairs with his clodhopping size 10's )

SazzlesIsASleighBell · 17/12/2008 22:49

no1putsantaupthechimney · 17/12/2008 22:50

ooohhh kettle chips I love them. cyteen you deserve that drink but I could do with some too

Should go to bed, Really need to dry hair, however it is plugged in under bed in my bedroom, joining wall next door.

I feel bad using it now as she has come home with new baby today and there bedroom is next to mine and the walls are thin!!!!

dizzyjingles · 17/12/2008 22:51

OMG I adore that photo no1 - he is just an absolute delight
