nothing to say though as shattered- dd is not v well - just the cold/temp thing but and I reckon ds will be next - argh!

petitfiloudanceswithreindeers · 10/12/2008 20:59

hello hello hello
merry christmas

wonderful to read about all our growing babies.
sod all those lousy medical pricks that want us to change how were doing things because the numbers in their book don't match exactly our little ones. size is relative and, yes, each baby is different.

krispy kreme's sound yummy right now. i only have nuts and apples though. drat my healthy kick.

now prepare to be amazed........
i have 80% of my christmas shopping complete AND WRAPPED under the tree. and it's only dec 10th. {{{twilight bows}}}}

silly me remembered the gift i should have given dh for his birthday last....8 days ago. i had meant to get him a massage scheduled at my spa. it hit me while driving down the road to pick up dd1. i'll go tomorrow and get it all arranged then tell him it's a belated gift. then i'll just keep my fingers crossed that while he's there he gets ME something for christmas. now how's that for planning.

sazzles i hope you're not expecting such lush eats in march. my world famous homemade burritos is about as high end as i get. could do a roast.....maybe something seafoody but that's dh's department.

BucketsofReindeerPoo · 10/12/2008 21:11

Miamla, the difference will only go on tube fare though.
Ok Madam, these are your trains:
1000 Paddington direct to Temple Meads arr. 1142 = £21 advance booked single

1530 Temple Meads arr. Paddington 1715 = £13.50 advance booked single
Enjoy your journey and have a nice day

poppystocking · 10/12/2008 21:12

Oh pf and VG, don't apologise! That's for me to do. I just know I've been droning on about DD2's weight for ages when I'm sure she's fine. Just unnerving when the charts/HVs say she may not be. I'm at it again [mouth zipped, I'm boring myself emoticon]

Horrendously busy and stressful day here. Was horribly snappy with DD1 this morning, but wasn't helped by the fact that she used all of the Christmas stamps up on every surface that wasn't an envelope that required them and that they wouldn't come off easily from. . DD2 meanwhile just grizzled for hours which is unusual for her . Thankfully a b'day party of a friend's DD solved it all as DD1 had a great time and DD2 slept on the way and woke up refreshed and back to her normal self. I am now hoping to refresh myself with a mini magnum (left over from our pg days!)

petitfiloudanceswithreindeers · 10/12/2008 21:13

vg lol at 'unknown deadly virus' - I hope you are mopping his fevered brow and being adequately sympathetic as of course I would be.

petitfiloudanceswithreindeers · 10/12/2008 21:18

poppy The thing is, even if she isn't gaining much weight, is she gaining it steadily and roughly going up the same centile? If so, then that's ok.

My ds1 didn't gain weight as he had reflux and his chart was all over the place - it is so obvious looking back and comparing it to dds and ds2s. And... even then he was a very happy baby, just a skinny one! But he did fare better on bottles in the end because he was just taking more in that way.

petitfiloudanceswithreindeers · 10/12/2008 21:19

I'm off to bed as tired from crappy night last night - hope you all have a good one.....

oopsIstuffedaturkey · 10/12/2008 21:25

OOOH VG - now there is someone near the cotswolds mmmm let me think who - aahh yes me and Sazzles too. where are you going to be or is it a sneaky undercover trip???? Thanks for the Baptism reminder too - need to speak to priest about 1st March.

Tonight we had reverse dinner - doughnuts frist and pizza in about 5 minutes. More builders around tonight - Dh muttering on about cutting new doors in walls there shouldn't (IMO) be doors.

Off to eat but fear not I will return

oopsIstuffedaturkey · 10/12/2008 21:26

there is not attampted cat rape happening in a cardboard box. I would have thought that after 8 years he would realise it DOES NOT WORK!

SazzlesIsASleighBell · 10/12/2008 21:34

Hmm, Emma is currently singing to me through the monitor . Her bedtimes have gone completely to pot (partly because i let her sleep in until 9.30 am and then wonder why she won't settle to sleep at 7pm). Hey ho, we are in the New Forest for the next two days for my Uncle's funeral so no point in trying to rescue a routine now

VG LOL at 'unknown deadly virus' too . Are you coming anywhere near us in the Cotswolds?

TS I am looking forward to the Burritos VERY much. Fine dining is great but nice for a treat rather than every day IYSWIM. Nice planning on the massage

No1 Has the rat been outwitted yet?

oopsIstuffedaturkey · 10/12/2008 21:35

DH just told me how much his lunch cost - there was just the 2 people eating, it was curry no booze it cost....

£120 yes that is £120 in real money!

oopsIstuffedaturkey · 10/12/2008 21:38

Sazzles I think Poppy stole Emma's routine she is now ready for bed by 7.30, in bed fed, sung to, prayers said by 8 and sleeping by 8.02.

oopsIstuffedaturkey · 10/12/2008 21:39

that cat message was meant to say 'now' not'not'

yours sympathetically

oopsIstuffedaturkey · 10/12/2008 21:48

VG Could that be Chipping Camden?

We have a similar thing with regard to Baptism we had a 22nd Feb or 1st March date from DH even though he couldn't care less.

Yes 2 cats but the female one knows that she has been done but he has no idea which end to aim for or what to do with her when he catches her. Poor girl.

SazzlesIsASleighBell · 10/12/2008 21:57

Chipping Sodbury? This game could go on a while as i believe there are a number of 'Chippings'

OP posts:
oopsIstuffedaturkey · 10/12/2008 22:02

I only said Chipping Camden because my mum worked there! I know a Chipping Norton but have no idea where in the world it is!

Miamla I'd also like to attend the meetup and would also be going to CAbot thingy from London Paddington - can you remind me what the date is?

Buckets thanks for the lingerie, £5 winging its way to you via paypal

lots going on in RL here, we will finally be able to move into our bedroom tomorrow as the carpet is going down - hooray, its only taken 4.5 months to decorate!! We ran out of (v expensive) wallpaper on the 'feature wall' so patched the last bit with odds and ends - needs must with £40 per roll paper - wont look too closely

DS slept 5.5 hours last night thank god as DP fed him 130ml ebm late on - I feel fab today. expressed nearly 150ml for tonight. Cyteen I think you were right about him waking up due to being thirsty as he is in a grobag now and has felt over hot a few times now due to ongoing temperature arguement differences with dp - he puts the radiator on, I turn it off etc all night

oopsIstuffedaturkey · 10/12/2008 22:13

oooh VG I've been there - V V V V posh amazing spiral staircase.
