no1 - we might end up on the same train ... we will be travelling from York

no1putsantaupthechimney · 09/12/2008 22:39

dingdong well if i come then the train i plan on catching doesnt leave their till nearly 6 so i will still be about.
I cant go all that way for just couple of hours. afterall i can always shop

no1putsantaupthechimney · 09/12/2008 22:40

oh i love York tis beautiful

dingdongmerrilyfromhome · 09/12/2008 22:40

yes, and 6-8 hours on a train is nothing compared with 17 hours on a plane

no1putsantaupthechimney · 09/12/2008 22:41

rotterpotter are you from wakefield?? that is not too far from me.

dizzyjingles · 09/12/2008 22:41

if i win the lotto and manage then my flight wouldn't be until about 7.30pm so I'd be there

did we need to decide to meet up right after Christmas?!?!? [meep]

dingdongmerrilyfromhome · 09/12/2008 22:42

and for those of you planning to fly in the coming months this website does go on a bit but I found it quite helpful

dizzyjingles · 09/12/2008 22:43

No1 I was beginning to think he was a paramedic or firey as they get to sleep during their nightshifts, or at least used to - we, on the other hand, don't seeing as the sodding criminal fraternity don't bloody sleep

no1putsantaupthechimney · 09/12/2008 22:44

shocking. he told me other week when on nights he pulled up 2 chairs and had an hour

no1putsantaupthechimney · 09/12/2008 22:45

he doesnt have many breaks though, he gets bit pissed he does more than his`fair share as i told you before.

dingdongmerrilyfromhome · 09/12/2008 22:46

night all.

no1putsantaupthechimney · 09/12/2008 22:47

night

poppystocking · 09/12/2008 22:48

Ha ha No1. My BiL's brother (following this? ) does exactly the same thing. Odd hours too. Maybe your DH is his boss?

dizzyjingles · 09/12/2008 22:57

night LWFH

can't imagine pulling up a couple of chairs on a nightshift, would suspect those phoning in on 999 at that moment wouldn't be too impressed getting an answering machine message asking them to hold whilst I napped

SazzlesIsASleighBell · 09/12/2008 23:44

Am home, little bit pished. Lovely dinner at 2 michelin starred restaurant....lovely

PS: oops is right, I don't talk THAT much

Hi!
Long day...very very tired.

I guess I'm the only nutter to have RL names for those of you who would be in my real email contact list and cell phone. I confuse myself all the time rl...mn...rl.... DH doesn't have clue half the time when we chat about folk because one time I'll use their mn-name then the next time I'll use their rl-name. He's still not too sure which of you is joining us at the beach.

Cyteen HaPPy BiRTHdaY!

Poppy {{{hugs}}}

dingdongmerrilyfromhome · 10/12/2008 07:05

morning all. coffee?

DS slept better than he has done since the move, although he didn't settle back into the cot at 5 so came in with me. when I woke all uncomfy at 6.30 (I am at my parents, it is a single bed!) he was asleep next to me so I hoiked him back into his cot - cue lots of crying, so here we are now all awake.

did any of you read the mug hierarchy thread? my mum has blue cups for coffee and green for decaf so she doesn't get confused after she has put the coffee in, which I think is very clever.

blue coffee anyone?

and good morning to those late night posters ...

dingdongmerrilyfromhome · 10/12/2008 07:06

i hope that everyone slept well, and those needing rest could rest

dingdongmerrilyfromhome · 10/12/2008 07:07

ps cheerfulvicky thank you for your recommendation of tesco disp nappies - i am quite impressed so far

AndHeaVanAnnNatureSing · 10/12/2008 08:16

Morning all. Hi Dingdong! Cyteen - sorry forgot to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY yesterday hope you had a good one!

Long day today. DP has his work's Christmas do so won't be back till goodness knows what time tonight. Hope he doesn't get too pissed.

Morning all
I have pest control coming today to sort out this mystery once and for all.

SazzlesIsASleighBell · 10/12/2008 09:12

There is a little man banging around in my head - can someone take him away please? Perhaps your pest control man, No1? Large blue mug for me thanks dingdong, i'm sure that will help too

We had a fantastic night last night, lovely food & wine and DH and i chatted all evening about everything under the sun. Emma finally gave in and went to bed at 11pm according to our neighbours who were babysitting. Apparently she kept falling asleep whist being cuddled but woke every time they put her in the cot (oops, must have forgotten to tell them that is a regular occurrence )

LWFH I will be in Bristol all day i would imagine to shop catch up properly with everyone

poppy hope your DH's job is safe and good luck for your long trip

morning sazzles paracetamol????
sounds like a great night, i love food can i be nosey and ask what you had??

Think marcus has the cold now, 3 feed wake ups, 2 screaming wake ups(never does this)

lots of snot and tears.
can i give calpol to help him feel a bit better, even though it wont shift the cold?

NoroomattheCaveman · 10/12/2008 09:18

Morning (yawn), blue coffee please!
Am giving serious consideration to giving up bf now. For the past 3 nights ds2 seems to have fed constantly, meaning I have a very disturbed night sleep . Debating whether ff would fill him up more and promote better sleep? But then I could end up getting up 3 times a night to make him a bottle!!! eeeek. What to do?

To join in on last night's convo - dizzy is in my phone as dizzydixies.

For the meet-up have you decided on name etiquette? Will you use mn names or rl names .
