Here we are, finally made it to another thread.

Congratulations Sponge, that's exciting! How do you feel? Rotten?

Auntgriselda, Hasan is feeding loads! Usually wakes at 5.30 for leisurely breakfast, then mid morning snack, afters for lunch, mid afternoon snack, afters for tea, supper, evening snack, midnight snack. Ooh he's a so and so.

When I tried to cut him down he became more demanding at night He really howls if I turn him down So I haven't the heart turn him down (for now - am a softy walkover!)
The thing is I'm available and on tap all day and all night.
I'm resigned to going cold turkey because I think if I try to do it gradually it will prolong the agony. At the moment he eats well but not alot.
Once I stop he'll eat loads like his brother I think.

But keeping going until he is two if I can.

Still co sleeping with Hasan and ds2. They cuddle up together -very cute. I'm planning to eventually relocate to my own bed in the next few months too.

Cor really can't imagine having another little one now

No idea what to get him for Christmas......

kiwibella · 07/07/2009 09:21

Aunt... is your Richmond group still active? I've got a kiwi friend in the area who is feeling lonely. Same as everyone... confusing marriage, new baby, missing family....

Piffle · 08/07/2009 22:17

Super silly, is everything ok ???

Pre school, Finn doing taster session tomorrow and starting 2 sessions in sept. he is desperate to be away from me

Woohoo, toilet trained in the day, well when he is at home at least

Spending those hot days stark naked helped
He did it himself to be fair as I was glued to the tennis, he gets on the toilet himself, wipes his willy and flushes then washes his hands - very civilised indeed. Dunno how LOL

All ok here... it goes on does life, plod plod plod

Boo!

just posting a message - not about Jensen this time (!!!!!!) but his strange little brother who from day one has been a GREAT sleeper, but the past three night wont go down at all in the eve, screams and cries for well over an hour, you can console him when you go in, but as soon as you go , that's it, screams blue murder, is it just a stage or is this it now!!??

He is 1yr 4mths now

how is everyone, whats going on, who is pregnant!?

sometimes i wish i was, other times i am glad i am not.....i am not sure which urge is stronger at the moment!

hugs to all xxx

mygreatauntgriselda · 10/07/2009 20:25

Boo Jay!

Not sure what stage that is and am useless at things like sleeping advice

Must drop DS2's form at school next week, for the nursery

mygreatauntgriselda · 14/07/2009 12:48

bump to keep on my page

blueberrysorbet · 17/07/2009 19:51

callie that is great news, really happy for you and him, he must have been so proud!

kimi, my new dd is 6 weeks now! she had her check this week - no hearing or sight, he just looked at her (!) and said seems fine to me. ds is lovely with her mostly..

piffle, missed the tennis, pity nadal wasn;t playing

jay, do you think he has just realised he is in bed and others are up and having fun? or is he ill/ teething? my ds has always been a crap sleeper and my dd is a snoozer eyes slightly open like a basking shark...

would love to attend a meet up but seems impossible, perhaps when ds is older, ie can drive

mygreatauntgriselda · 19/07/2009 16:23

tis quiet on here ...

Callieco · 19/07/2009 21:59

Have any of your kids ever had the night terrors? Cos think Jordi has it. Wakes crying uncontrollably for no apparent reason, cuddling etc doesn't make a difference, then will fall back to sleep in a short time. If they have, what age and how long did it last?

mygreatauntgriselda · 20/07/2009 18:00

Callie does it happen often?

Mine have only had occassional nightmares. Is night terrors when its more regular?

mygreatauntgriselda · 24/07/2009 09:05

bump

Callieco · 24/07/2009 18:26

Yes. It happens every night at the moment, usually about 1-2 hours after he falls asleep.

mygreatauntgriselda · 25/07/2009 11:32

Oh poor thing (and you!!)

Is he having scary dreams?

Can I just ask how many of the March 2007 babied are out of nappies yet? DS2 is still firmly in them lol

SuperSillyus · 25/07/2009 21:39

No potty training here. Though I did finally stop breastfeeding 3 or 4 weeks ago. But he is still my baby Can't imagine having another little one.
I'm really enjoying the ages the children are at the moment.
Can sleep at night nowadays! Woohoo!

AuntGriselda will look an map and see what I can do. See if it's driveable from Belfast. I would have been in cork but not now due to the ole marriage shambles.

I am doing okay, I get overwhelmed at pmt time. But generally coping fine.
It is really sad and never easy, but taking it slowly and trying to build on friendship side with dxh.

You must be feeling terrible. If you ever want to talk let me know. Am expert in crap relationships

If you fancy coming over here to London for a mad couple of days with the kids let me know - you're always welcome. We are around apart from those two weeks.

Will try and sort something for a meet up in Ireland. I might stay in Maeth for a couple of days (if my friend wants me to, she did offer) - would that be nearer.

But we could also maybe meet half way somewhere? Maybe while in Clare we could head north and east and meet somewhere with you?

massive (((hugs)))

kiwibella · 27/07/2009 11:59

hey Silly... big hugs to u! Has your marriage ended or are you "working" on things?

I know what you mean about enjoying the dcs ages. These littlies are lots of fun now.

Kate is using the toilet... and proudly lets us know when she has pooed and wants us to come and see!! I don't put a nappy on her for her afternoon sleep and she hasn't wet yet. I'm not brave enough for night-times yet.

How are Jordi's night wakings, Callie? I can't offer any help with this... but I do look forward to sleeping through the night, having an evening without kids, etc etc etc.

kittywise · 01/08/2009 19:55

mygreatauntgriselda · 08/08/2009 18:03

Quiet on here...ppl on hols?

elvislives · 09/08/2009 20:52

I keep forgetting to come back because it doesn't stay on the Threads I'm On with the big gaps.

Still BF very frequently here but mainly sleeping all night so not a problem. No sign of an end to nappies.

DD1 had night terrors and they went on for months

mygreatauntgriselda · 10/08/2009 08:54

Me too - & keeps dropping off my threads I'm on anyway
