Here we are, finally made it to another thread.

Congratulations Sponge, that's exciting! How do you feel? Rotten?

Auntgriselda, Hasan is feeding loads! Usually wakes at 5.30 for leisurely breakfast, then mid morning snack, afters for lunch, mid afternoon snack, afters for tea, supper, evening snack, midnight snack. Ooh he's a so and so.

When I tried to cut him down he became more demanding at night He really howls if I turn him down So I haven't the heart turn him down (for now - am a softy walkover!)
The thing is I'm available and on tap all day and all night.
I'm resigned to going cold turkey because I think if I try to do it gradually it will prolong the agony. At the moment he eats well but not alot.
Once I stop he'll eat loads like his brother I think.

But keeping going until he is two if I can.

Still co sleeping with Hasan and ds2. They cuddle up together -very cute. I'm planning to eventually relocate to my own bed in the next few months too.

Cor really can't imagine having another little one now

No idea what to get him for Christmas......

Hope your ears are OK Kitty ((hugs to your poor ears))

I have blood tests tomorrow as my periods are happening a couple of weeks apart ATM

blueberrysorbet · 03/06/2009 11:02

great aunt that sounds odd, do they know what it is (nosy..)

love the lists.. esp fat toddler with boobies.

ds walks behind me (am so slow waddling) patting my bottom and saying "come on mummy" charming. also at toddlers yesterday, a kind lady offered to carry him during a marching song and he stuck his hand straight down her top think this is his french side

well his baby bro or sis will be here tomorrow as i have a planned c section tomorow morning! seems surreal that will have new baby by 9.00am.

kittywise · 03/06/2009 16:30

Really good luck for tomorrow BS, how exciting, do lt us know how you got as as soon as you are able!!

greataunt, that's odd, hope they manage to find reason/solution

mygreatauntgriselda · 03/06/2009 19:24

Oooh good luck for birth Blueberry. Tell Mr Blueberry to pop on and tell us the news - how exciting xxxxxxxxxxx

kiwibella · 04/06/2009 15:08

best of luck Blueberry!!! You will probably have a newborn baby now . Hope everything goes well and your recovery is straightforward. Exciting

I seem to be surrounded by pregnancy announcements atm which makes me jealous!!

Kitty and Aunty - hope your respective appts are helpful. It sounds like Ronnie knows how to get your / anyones attention.

Piffle is too kind. Kate tormented Finn with her bully-behaviour. It was lovely to meet although we already know so much about each other's families . Finn is delightful and such a clever boy. Piffle has a garden to die for!!

Loved the updates about the boys too... Kate is much the same.
Sleeps through the night
Sleeps 2-3 hours in the afternoon
Still bf
demands bf whenever and wherever she wants (similar stories about rummaging in my top) thankfully uses maori vocab so not obvious to all
very friendly - waves hello and says goodbye to everyone
very bossy
has decided to use the toilet... experimenting more with using knickers while out and about
loves music and dancing (has performed with her sister's polynesian group!)

We are loving the recent weather and getting outdoors. I love that this thread is still going... albeit less chatty nowadays.

kittywise · 10/06/2009 23:01

Hope everything went well blueberry!!

Well I had my appt and it is confirmed that I have noise induced hearing loss of 50% in a certain area, mainly the high pitches, caused by his lordship.

Shit, I always said he could scream didn't I?

I must confess I cried, fancy your own kid being the cause of that?

blueberrysorbet · 11/06/2009 12:46

hi there

we now have a dd to go with our ds- he is v sweet with her (so far) ,which is nice.

am feeling ok, except in pain with scar, and glued to sofa bf... love this

kitty, what can they do for you?

kittywise · 11/06/2009 13:58

hooray BB well done, how lovely! Have you decided on a name yet?

There's nothing they can do for me sadly

elvislives · 11/06/2009 21:53

Congratulations BBS

Kitty sorry to hear about your hearing. that DS did that to you.

As we are updating, DD is still BF and seems to have her hand permanently down my front. She is only just starting to put words together and is very bossy with it "sit down mummy" is a favourite.
She sleeps from 11pm to 8am with a nap at nursery.
She is very busy and active. Loves to jump and run and dance, and thinks she can swim by herself (she can't)

Callieco · 12/06/2009 21:40

Congrats Blueberry. Lovely to have one of each.

DS is a right little character.
Loves music and singing
Very, VERY, independently minded.
Loves cuddles.
Wants to be on the go all the time - holds hand out and demands 'This way'.
Which leads me on to - still can't walk or stand alone without help
But is pretty nippy on all fours.
Sleep is ok, usually about 8-8.30 to 7.30-8am, but does quite often stir at some point in the eve, sometimes needs attending to to go back to sleep, or comes in if it's middle of night.
Great sense of humour. Light of my life.

Piffle · 16/06/2009 21:52

Oh dear god who is bloody who, all these name changes
Serves me right for not paying attention
Massive congrats Blueberry whoever you are
hope the scar pain ease soon.

Kitty good luck with the hearing stuff, my eyes are going but I'm doing an ostrich impression for now.

Emmy lost her first tooth today! 2nd one imminent

Finn is not very well, thought it was a mild cold but it seems it is troubling him a bit more.

Kieran is away til saturday (been away for over a week already in France)
So am winging it on beer and luck.

I did die for my garden Kiwi my back will tell you!

Finn starts pre school (attached to Emmys school and he will go there too) in Sept. Just as well as he has started taking off his jacket and hanging it in Emmys cloakroom at school everyday and creating about leaving the classroom.
out of my 3 kids he has been the only one I craved full time paid work to avoid
He is such hard work - on the go all the time

Anyhow hope all is well lovelies x x x x

Piffle · 16/06/2009 21:53

Callie is Jordi getting OT and Pt etc?

EldonAve · 17/06/2009 21:54

Just popping on to say congrats to blueberrysorbet

DD also starts preschool in Sept - she is very excited about the prospect
Not sure what I will do with the free time
I was hoping to have had another by now but that didn't pan out

blueberrysorbet · 18/06/2009 13:32

hi there ladies

piffle, i used to be sponge am feeling better, much better than last time when lost 2 litres blood. here in the middle east (and the US, Germany, France) they cautherise the inside of you to stop bleeding- its only the uk this isn't done.. dh was in the op room and queried the smoke... asked if there was an ashtray down there

callie, jordi sounds lovely and a joy to be with.

ds also starts pre school in sept. he is in denial about it as mummy won;t be there

eldon, not sure who you are..are you still ttc?

bye for now,

mygreatauntgriselda · 22/06/2009 11:25

Hiya are all the babies starting pre school at two and a half then? Am getting confused here and on top of that still can't recall who Elvis is pmsl

Callie Jordie sounds lovely

Kitty - thats dreadful about your hearing loss . How is the little man, apart from having a powerful voice?

My bloods still not back but smear came back clear (phew)

The Fat Toddler is a delight. Still has his hand down my cleavage much of the time, usually accompanied with a rueful "boobies gone now" comment and sad face. Doesn't stop him still wanting to grab them

kiwibella · 22/06/2009 14:05

blueberry... I haven't heard of that but hope that it helps with your healing.

Aunt... we met Elvis at Kitty's aaaaaaages ago.

I'm still undecided about pre-school. They can start at 2.5 years but it's not free until they are 3. This is my dilemma... cos she really needs some structure and time away from me. I need to get some paid work anyways so it might be another solution altogether yet. I'll make a decision before September!!

Callie... Jordi is a cutie and it sounds like he knows just what he wants and how to get it .

Kitty... can anything be done for your hearing?

SuperSillyus · 23/06/2009 07:24

Oh been very very neglectfull of the thread!

Congratulations Blueberry!!! How lovely. Not coming over this year...

Kitty, so sad about your hearing the things we lose for our kids! But ronnie sounds scrumptious, I like the sound of his lovely hair.

Piffle Finn is a clever little chap! Wow.

Hasan is talking more now but still not loads.
Thankfully he is showing signs of kindness to his siblings now and starting to settle a little...though still wants to wreck the place all the time.
He's aware of his toileting but not ready to use the loo yet.
Still bf but this weekend my parents are coming to stay and I'm going away and it is weaning time.

Callie I liked the song and your ds sounds so adorable (and is a beautifull child) and it's so lovely that he is the light of your life. Aw.

Elvis your dd sounds so funny with her bossiness, hee hee

Greataunt all the best with the tests, I'm sure it's nothing sinister...perimenopause? (my excuse for everything)

My marriage is on the rocks at the moment so I've been very preoccupied with myself.
If I can be bothered I might do a thread on here but I am a bit sick of talking/thinking about it. Been having lots of ups and downs.

Supersilly - hope you navigate the rocks and get off them again. Big hugs.

Piffle - he is getting physio and OT.

Hello everyone else. I'm in work atm and it's very quiet, so here I am.

EldonAve · 23/06/2009 21:13

blueberrysorbet - I was theblonde

SuperSillyus - hope things improve for you

Callieco · 28/06/2009 21:17

Just has to share this with you. Jordi took a few steps on his own today. It was in a park and he started to let go of my hands and said "I want to stand" then took off for about three steps. He did it again and again with me just keeping my hands near his hips and catching him when he started to topple. I didn't think he would be able to do this for absolutely ages. Have a virtual glass of bubbly with me - I'm having a few real ones needless to say. His posture isn't great but he's done it.

elvislives · 28/06/2009 22:03

Callie that's fantastic

mygreatauntgriselda · 02/07/2009 09:40

Callie that's fantastic news!! Go Jordie - he must be a determined lil man

That's really cheered me up

Having a mid life crisis here - Super - the smear test came back OK so you may be right, and I am feeling all desperate about the thought that I won't have more babies, am wrinkly and no one loves me lol

Need a big hug from an Italion Stallion methinks

...in my dreams

SuperSillyus · 03/07/2009 07:58

Oh Callie fantastic news!! Aw how wonderfull.

Greataunt I'm having a midlife crisis too. Never mind...we'll get through it.
Don't forget you are gorgeous. wrinkles shminkles
