hi ALL....SO EXCITED...I LOVE XMAS

mine, all I get is the normal child benefit and a measly £20 a month working tax credit, I dont sign on for benefits as I am not looking for employment, I choose to be a SAHM so wont qualify for anything (I dont think ) the tax credit is based on the total house income for the previous year, so last year we didnt get anything as I was bringning in maternity pay which took us over the threshold. My DH earns a good wage hence the crap amount we get now but its better than nothing. Are you going to be SAHM or looking for employment again?

crotchet, sorry you have suffered so much lurgy, I think I am going to get it all at once, I have a sore throat today so just my luck will be ill on xmas day

Congrats mine - enjoy your freedom!! I get pretty much nothing as a SAHM too. Some tax credit and the child benifit.

LLL - strange behavious from your mil also. Though I am very impressed that you are doing 3 birds (or were doing) - is that one inside the other like Russian dolls? Hope you are feeling better for Christmas.

Sleep - so lovely to hear from you again - you have been sorely missed. Sending you big fat hugs. Sorry that R is still not sleeping - I don't suppose you ever get used to it. And here's hoping that you are over all your bugs now for Christmas.

Mine - so glad you have finished work - you must be so relieved.

DH is still ill with this flu virus - it's been 2 weeks now . Although the flu's pretty much gone but he's been left with a heavy cold which is giving him real sinus trouble. Anyway, he did the supermarket run today (brave man!) because Anya hates being in supermarket trollies and just screams non-stop. At least I've got 2 weeks off work now and with my Christmas shopping all done as of yesterday, my mission is to try and get Anya back into some kind of routine - it's been all over the place recently.

Can't believe it's Christmas Eve already tomorrow. I hope everybody has a wonderful Christmas and that all our lo's enjoy playing with all the lovely wrapping paper.

We have had full on tears from Sam tonight when we told him Santa wasn't coming until tomorrow night...bless! he is very excitable which is great I have such a lot to do tomorrow though not been able to get much done today as the boys have been very demanding

Ooooh! Just one more sleep till xmas now!

Well, its been a bit of a wierd week here in strawberryland. My nan died on Monday eve, very peacefully, so although its sad, it was a good thing. And I did manage to get to see her before she went, which was good. So i'm not quite sure I'm totally in the Christmas mood yet.
But we did have a nice time with DH's dad and stepmum this afternoon, and Olly had a cool ELC Happyland farm from them, which he loves playing with. He has so many more presents upstairs waiting to be open - not sure where I am going to put them all!
Just watching the family on c4 now, and then need to finish making a trifle for tomorrow.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS!!!

Not had a chance to catch up. Finally made it down to mum and dad's on Sunday as my Dad came up to Newcastle on the train to help me drive down. Still not totally back on form but a lot better than I have been.

Had a lovely day with all my family although somewhat manic with 3 little boys as I am sure you can imagine!

No chance to catch up and proably won't while I'm down here but will do so soon... Back in Newcastle on 31st so might be a bit sporadic before then but thinking of you all and hope all is well xxx

Oh just wanted to say that I didn't have my secret santa before I left - not surprised though as clearly I left well before Christmas. I'll let you know when I've colelcted it from the post office early in the new year but didn't want the person who sent it to think I was being rude and ignoring it!
