LES - Snap, Jane is running full speed round the house as well as dancing!!! She has learnt how to do spins now...she goes round and round giggling like made until she falls then starts again! She is also able to go up and down stairs at a worryingly fast pace!!!! And she also says Nana a million times a day...she points at the bananas shouting it and grabs the phone shouting it (to talk to nana on the phone!!!) Its amazing how fast they grow! Hope Karl is ok doing his solo

Well I am still in Newcastle. Came home from work at lunchtime on Tues feeling rough and have been in bed pretty much since then with the closest thing to flu I have ever had. Still feeling crap tbh. Thankfully we managed to get boys into nursery everyday this week as dh has been poorly too and it has been all we can do to get them up and to bed each day. Desperately hoping to be well enough tomorrow to drive to mum and dads as I really want to be able to spend some time with my sister!

Stefka sorry to hear about the lump. You have done absolutely the right thing to get it checked out though and fingers crossed that all will turn out fnie when you get it checked at the hospital xxx

Finally got round to putting the tree & decorations up tonight - Anya stares and shouts at the twinkly lights. Have now finished work until 5 Jan (yay!) apart from having to drop a file into the office on Monday, but that's no great hassle.

Anya was ill yesterday - a temp and generally feeling crap I think as she was very clingy. Thankfully she was a bit better this morning and fully recovered by the time she woke from a long nap this afternoon. So only me who's not been ill yet - saving it up for Christmas Day no doubt!

hiya ladies
I am in total agony my gum infection has come back again..so since 4pm when it really started hurting i have had 4 neurofen, 4 paracetomol and 1 anti biotic, plus rinsed with listerine about 30 times just cos it numbs gum for few minutes.

roll on midnight when i can take next lot of pain killers and antibiotics then i can hopefully go to bed...

I wanted to wish you all a very HAPPY CHRISTMAS and a wonderful New Year!!!

Am rushed off my feet as you can probably imagine, with a big trip to get ready for and Christmas to sort and that annoying work nonsense getting in the way of all the things I need to get done. Anyway, we're all v excited, we're having Christmas with my family tomorrow, then we're off to Heathrow on Tuesday and arrive in Singapore Christmas morning. Finally get to Christchurch on the 27th. I'm not quite sure what happens to Boxing Day!!!!

I have also not been ill Jafa and Lisa - DH has and so has my aunt so I am crossing all my fingers and toes that I stay healthy over Christmas. Hope you feel better Alice.

Stefka, gums are fine today but i must carry on with the anti-biotics they are like horse pills lol.

Waheyyyy you are a real nappy convert!!!! Glad the clothes fitted hun....I still have bags and bags left lol.

ds1 was an angel this morning he got Zachary up when he woke brough him in the living room made him a bottle and put a movie on for them both, leaving me to sleep after popping all the pain killers last night. I slept until 9.40 when they came in to wake me up ooppss bad mummy alert!

He also cleared the living room up and made me a coffee....

oh Stef, meant to say let me know how you get on with the nappies as I have far too many lol I am a bit of a pram and Nappy addict so I can pass the nappies on to you as i think i have somewhere in the region of 200 lol.

LOL Stefka, you have heard him lol, and anyways he would drive you nuts over Dr Who and anything else he has an interest in.

Oh had his parents evening last week and if he carries on the way he is he is looking at a level 5 in SATS tests. He has also been put in G&T for math and science, he has been in G&T for literacy for 3 1/2 yrs. (proud mummy)

stefka - really hoping you don't come down with anything over Christmas - my friend from work popped in today - and the no voice thing has absolutely decimated the staff in school: the head, both deputies, and 2 of the 4 senior teachers have been off with it: they're never off (mostly because they spend a lot less time in front of actual kids than the rest of us - cynical, moi?) ... so I don't feel like I'm quite so bad for not having been in!

I've just sold 14 of R's old wooden train set trains to my friend for her son - she paid me £5 each for them - that'll come in quite handy thank you very much!

Am looking forward to SCD tonight - hopefully I'll gte to see it - I'm feeling really whooshy-headed again ...

HI ladies just wanted to (quickly again sorry!!) shout.........insurance company cash settled us for our floor..........4K!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant believe it, the floor doesnt even look that bad!!! THANK YOU GOD for a leaky radiator!! We are using the cash towards a budget floor and a bright sparkly new bathroom WOOHOO!! [gfrin]
