phdlife · 04/11/2008 20:45

we are moving at the end of the month and he is in 7th heaven with all the boxes and STUFF

NorthernLurker · 04/11/2008 21:07

Thanks SPB - nice title B certainly is getting into the tantrums but she still cuddles like a baby!!!!

runnyhabbit · 04/11/2008 21:11

Dippy - My dh is away too. Went yesterday morning, and should be back Thursday. Was only meant to be til tomorrow, but job is taking longer than first thought. And W decided that he wouldn't settle at all last night, even when I brought him into bed with me. (J had the lurgy last week, so hoping he's not coming down with it.)
I had today off (needed to to take J for his speech therapy review this morning) and don't work a Wednesday, so if I have a repeat performance tonight, at least I won't have work to worry about.

Still haven't heard anything about redundancies. The notice stated that those at risk would be informed on or by Wednesday 5th November. So even if I'm not in work, (and if I am at risk) would they contact me at home?

oooggs · 04/11/2008 21:11

moving you nutter!!!!!!!!!

oooggs · 04/11/2008 21:12

they should runny - but I would ring in to check

phdlife · 04/11/2008 21:12

it is not just moving either

it's the 12-hr flight I'm looking forward to

followed by the 8-hr flight

runnyhabbit · 04/11/2008 21:14

W loves boxes too Just going to get J presents for Christmas - W can have the boxes

And yes, love the thread title too. Saw a very pg friend on weekend, who's due her 3rd dc in 5 weeks. And had to admit to dh that it made me feel broody
Not so much having a 3rd dc, but being pg (I lurvved being pg) and giving birth.
I must be mad....

runnyhabbit · 04/11/2008 21:15

phd - where are you moving to?

geordieminx · 04/11/2008 21:15

Hey ladies.

Definately tantrums here - twice today because I stopped him standing on the toilet seat, leaning over to the sink runnin water into it with the plug in

He also has a new trick of getting himself yoghurts out of the fridge, opening them, and feeing himself with his hands.... unfortunately it has ended up all over the fridge, floor, walls, doors and him... twice today. Grrrr

oooggs · 04/11/2008 21:17

phd - wow that seems a long way

runny - I hate being pregnant - you could have been my surrogate

phdlife · 04/11/2008 21:25

geordieminx -

Holiday was pretty good. Much, much, much better than last year. Weather was lovely, not shorts and t-shirts, but no need for a coat. The kids were very well behaved on the plane and while we were there.
