CaptainDippy · 05/11/2008 10:37

Morning!

cazboldy · 05/11/2008 10:54

Welcome back Ange

Hello phd, and good luck with the move

I love being pg Oooggs - but I couldn't give away a baby.....I will give them all to you when they turn 5....... When they start school, they morph into little monsters!

AngeG · 05/11/2008 11:06

Where is everyone? You should all be here to welcome me back from my holiday

Morning Dippy and Caz

I too like being pg. Dh said while we were away that he is in two minds about a third . He would like another baby but at the same time wants to move forward with the house and stuff.

CaptainDippy · 05/11/2008 11:22

Welcome back Ange!! Good time?

elkiedee · 05/11/2008 12:12

Hi all, thinking of oooggs with that horrible glucose tolerance test - hope your results show no problems so you can have some treats over Christmas.

elkiedee · 05/11/2008 12:19

And welcome back Ange!

Baffled by all those of you who actually enjoy being pregnant, ugh!

Sexonlegs · 05/11/2008 12:21

Afternoon

Ange, glad your holiday was enjoyable. A 3rd eh????? We must meet up soon- haven't seen you for ages. I'll email you later

PHD, wow! When are you off? Good to see you.

Runny, hope W settled for you. Have you heard anything? They should call you if you are not in the office, so that everyone gets the same news at the same time or thereabouts, and not from another source.

Dippy, how is P?

Oooggs, hope the glucose test is going/has gone ok.

Brain dead now. I am so so so tired. Getting fed up of waiting on news re my Mum. Just want to know what we are dealing with.

Been to Jo Jingles this morning which was fab. Hoping K will have a big nap after her lunch so I can have some peace and quiet!

Hope everyone is ok. xx

PillockOfTheCommunity · 05/11/2008 12:24

Hey all
not caught up on old thread yet but loving the new title SPB

I am taking a half day. And going to the pub before home. Can you tell I'm having a bad day?! Still, have a visitor to look forward to this evening so am focusing on that.
Leaving early on Friday and taking Monday off too. Have to come in to set up a meeting on Monday but then buggering off for the day! Working at home is so useful sometimes!
Now, if I could just work out how to make the tea from home I'd never have to come in again

CaptainDippy · 05/11/2008 12:27

LOL POTC Enjoy the break

P is snotty and weary, but ok enough.

got a Birthday Party this afternoon, t'will be madness

no.5???

You havent had no. 4 yet!!! You are mad woman!!

oooggs · 05/11/2008 19:44

I'm not having anymore!!!!!!! I'm not THAT mad

No.4 fills the empty space at the dining room table, all the bedrooms (once the conversion is finished) are filled and the car has an empty seat for the MIL when she visits.

I am too old tired and dh is on a sex ban until he has the snip

Sexonlegs · 05/11/2008 22:23

Hi loves.

Oooggs, number 5????

Hi Dooby Any more thoughts about moving to Lincoln?

Spoke to my Dad tonight and him and db are meeting with the surgeon again tomorrow so we should know what we are dealing with (if anything) Stressed Dh has been great, but he keeps saying "keep positive". I am as much as I can be, but sometimes I just want to tell him to f* off Is that awful?

Anyway off to bed in a mo, so see you all tomorrow.

Hope everyone is ok. xx

Eddas · 05/11/2008 23:05

SOL, i just want to say that I totally understand what you mean about telling dh to f off, but he just doesn't know what else to say. Just tell him that sometimes a cuddle is fine, he doesn't have to say anything. I had to explain this to my dh, and after that he 'got' that just giving a smile and cuddle was all I needed to know he understood. Thinking of you tomorrow {{{{hugs}}}}}

Bramshott · 05/11/2008 23:11

Hello and goodnight !

DH is away tonight in a hotel as he has an 8am meeting tomorrow. The rational part of me knows that this is completely sensible, but there's still a part of me that is and that his life is organised in such a way that he can just make that decision and go without a thought.

runnyhabbit · 05/11/2008 23:49

Had a text from HR this afternoon telling me that my job was safe, and not to worry. Didn't realise that it was worrying me so much, I could feel my body relax.

But why is it that I do more running around on my day off than in work Had a corker of a headache earlier, and could not face another night of W being up, so after the boys had their bath, we all got striaght into my bed Woke up about 9.30, so feel much better. Still got bit of headache, but think it's a combination of work/W/ and missing dh

Bramshott - I know exactly what you mean. Before the talk of redundacies started, there was talk of me training a quality auditor. The quality dept thought I'd be ideal at it (used to do it in my old job) and I was getting quite excited at learning something new. Until I realised that it would be up to me to sort out childcare, home etc. I love dh to bits, but all he has to think about is whether he;s got enough clothes

elkiedee · 06/11/2008 00:08

Good news about the job Runny, though it sounds like you're struggling with the juggling act there.

Sorry SOL, I hope dp would know better than to tell me to "keep positive" in your shoes. Eddas' advice sounds very wise.
