In honour of everyone who refuses to believe they are no longer babies (Pesha, NL and Dippy )

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
CaptainDippy · 21/11/2008 20:58

Away til late tomorrow night, so could be worse

Doobydoo · 21/11/2008 21:03

It is strange when the men folk away isn't it?I always feel on high alert
I wasn't saying you old SOL[eek]
Hope you are ok Dippy as I know you have been having dificulties.
I am going soon.Need ro tidy.Dp and ds1 out fixing a computer .x

PillockOfTheCommunity · 21/11/2008 21:21

Dooby - it'll be fiiiiiine , I failed my 1st test but passed the 2nd, think postive!
I still think you should move to Suffolk, me and Caz can soon build you a support network (we'll ignore for a moment the fact that Caz is technically a Norfolk-er )

mj & runny - want some lodgers? Getting right fucked off here and tempted to take a job I've been offered, but it's in Carmarthen

SOL - electric blankets are the way to go

Dippy - look on the positive, you can starfish in peace

Elkie - you should let me know next time you're up this way, it's a much easier and quicker journey to KL if you take a slightly different route and let me drive you the last 20 mins

JellySnakes · 21/11/2008 21:29

Hello all

SOL, enjoy your blanket I echo what others have said about giving yourself time. You definitely need to be kind to yourself as you have had a really rough time of things. Take care xxx

CD, dh is working again tonight and I feel quite lonely. Never thought I would feel like this as he drives me insane a lot of the time!! Hope your girls allow you to get some sleep tonight

Dooby, good luck for the driving test! Just imagine the examiner butt naked, that should bring a smile to your face (unless they are an old minger!) and help you relax

Elkie, sounds like a stressful day, glad you made it through in one piece

I still have a little bit of pain tonight but it is definitely better. No idea what caused it, very odd. As long as it goes I won't worry about it!
F is completely back to normal now, eating and drinking really well which is great.

Off to bed soon, three 6am starts for work has completely done me in!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 21/11/2008 21:30

feck it. she who was formerly known as my mother (have made the long overdue decision that I will no longer be attempting to force any relationship with her and she will from now on be no more than any other estranged relative to me) has joined facebook . So now I have my great-aunt, my uncle, my gran using my uncle's profile, and swwfkamm on there. nooooooooooooo! (really hoping Pesha has removed the bra shot )

PillockOfTheCommunity · 21/11/2008 21:30

ok, so I need to come up with a shorter term than swwfkamm

JellySnakes · 21/11/2008 21:31

Ooh pillock, Carmarthen eh! Would you move that far away from friends and family really?

JellySnakes · 21/11/2008 21:32

Do they all have access to your profile though?

PillockOfTheCommunity · 21/11/2008 21:41

I don't know mj (will you please go back, you're just not you as js!), but I'm fed up, can't keep doing this anymore. Justin being an arse, Andy determined not to let me have a successful relationship with anyone else (although James is ignoring that and willing to ignore him too) and I've reached the point where I'm wondering why the feck not?

PillockOfTheCommunity · 21/11/2008 21:44

access to profile, now there's an interesting one! If I don't add them as friends I get moaned at and asked why not. So I have been a little sneaky. I have made a special group that cannot see any drunken photos, daft comments, anything else dodgy unnecessary items, and added said family members to it

JellySnakes · 21/11/2008 21:45

Would change to something that began with MJ, but changed because I hated the mammy part of it! Open to suggestions

Didn't realise things were so shit for you just now. What about your brother, would he stay?

JellySnakes · 21/11/2008 21:49

Lol at special group!

From what you have said previously I am assuming that Justin will always be an arse? The Andy part is a little difficult isn't it. Is he with anyone just now? Mind you, does it make any difference to him either way?! It is almost as if he doesn't want you to move on with your life, odd.

cazboldy · 21/11/2008 21:51

Lol at you POTC...... I like Norfolk!, but yes Dooby, come and live here!

Good Luck for the driving test Dooby...... i passed mine first time, but have to say i was very lucky and it was definitely an absolute fluke!

SOL - It was quick work (even more so for him ) and I am truly grateful to him ( and will more than likely have to be for about the next 5 years ) but it is actually not a bad job

My db has had a car accident. An 84 year old man pulled out in front of him, while he was doing 60mph! am very glad to say both of them are fine, and the only damage was to the cars..... he is a very lucky young man if you ask me! (Thankfully)

cazboldy · 21/11/2008 21:52

Oh and MJ/JS - glad your pain has gone and F is feeling better xx

JellySnakes · 21/11/2008 21:53

On a totally different subject, how many hours do you work in a week?
I am just interested in what everyone does as I am expecting my boss to ask me to increase mine up after Christmas.
Money would be great, not sure if I want to work more hours though iykwim. Would be good for career progression as I would get my own little niche and I would love that, have been hankering after something of my own for long enough!

JellySnakes · 21/11/2008 21:54

Glad he is ok Caz

PillockOfTheCommunity · 21/11/2008 21:55

he's been with his gf for 2 yrs now

don't get me wrong, it's not shit really

I'm actually quite happy, work is good, I'm staying put for the time being and probably until the summer (if I do anything drastic I'll do it in summer hols), and I'm happy with the way things are with James (although he could cease the wedding and children talk - keep 02.10.10 free ladies ).

I've just got a bit fed up of never doing what would make me happy and always putting others first.

Skott is happy with his gf, they've been together a year, and has a job (woohoo so has got his own life now and doesn't need me as much. He's still as protective as ever though, was ready to smack a certain someone when he came to work with me on Weds

JellySnakes · 21/11/2008 21:57
Shock
PillockOfTheCommunity · 21/11/2008 21:57

I do 30hrs a week at the mo mj

JellySnakes · 21/11/2008 21:59

That shocked face is showing what my mouth did (chin hit the table!) when I read of your potential wedding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow, so lovely, woohooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 21/11/2008 21:59

Before you go getting excited though, I am catagorically NOT marrying him
And come on, Mark for a son I can live with, but Summer for a daughter I think not

PillockOfTheCommunity · 21/11/2008 21:59

see, I knew you'd do that!

JellySnakes · 21/11/2008 22:00

I do 22.5 and would go up to 30. You obviously find it ok then as you have been doing it for a while haven't you?

All M and J suggestions will be considered

JellySnakes · 21/11/2008 22:01

Ooh, I like Summer! I know Dawn from Eastenders used that name but I think it's fab!

Why wouldn't you marry him? You told me you didn't do hugs but I soon broke that one!!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 21/11/2008 22:02

Maelid Janitrix?
