the boys are apple bobbing. they hgad the chocolate cake with ice cream because the ganache was still runny. I will have to walk them home soon, I don't fancy them being out alone tonight.

We had one trick or treat knock, and they opened the door. I am assuming DS1 hadn't closed it properly and it opened when they knocked. Didn't answer anyway

No T or T here DH and I can gorge ourselves on cheap sweets tonight though

DH preparing a mountain of root veg for me to turn into mash. He is having liver and bacon with his, I am having bacon and beans with mine. Then tomorrow we will have leftover mash (hence the mountain of veg) mixed with onions and cheese, then baked in the oven. Yummy.

Happy Hallowe'en Everyone. I've got a massive pile of apples, bananas & pears & a big bag of monkey nuts & got no guisers at all.Tis alsmost 8pm so don't think anyone coming now. What can I do with all that fruit?

Caramelised apples with whatever you're cooking in the next few days? Especially if you're having pork. Or make a batch of apple sauce? (Don't add sugar though if they're eating apples not cookers.) Pear and blue cheese salad or in a sandwich? Banana muffins? Banana splits? Or of course just lots of fruit to eat?

Just one set of trick or treaters here. I wasn't really prepared as no-one has ever come before, so they had to make do with a packet each of DD's funsize choc buttons

I am vicariously nesting through my DH who is running around getting things organised for a friend to come and babysit and getting the hospital stuff organised.

Daisy, very excited and thinking of you.

Hope you are all ok. FF, wow, scary about your move. Will DH commute to work? Will be nice to be near your parents, they sound fab.

I won't be on here much over the next month as I am doing NaNoWriMo here.

Ive got to go in for another blood test tomorrow as my hormone levels have dropped. I actually think/know that its not worked....
