I know VS , they're all stuffed, poor buggers!

Scorpio nopt bored at all, think you've been remarkably restrained tbh, I'd have ranted for days and completely taen over both my blog and the relationships threads

VictorianSqualor · 04/11/2008 18:45

Me too Peachy!

PeachyFizzesLikeADampSquibb · 04/11/2008 18:50

(I dont actually know the seconmd travesty but if he upset Scorpio thats good enough for me, frankly- dont need to know).

scorpio1 · 04/11/2008 18:57

i did fb message you

Denny185 · 04/11/2008 18:59

Scorpio vent 4 as long as u need.

VS, some weekends its ok, others u start going mad about lunchtime on the sunday Generally i get through by doing no housework (just cook dinner) and entertaining as much as poss pref outside if we can. For the 'mad' weekends i resort to dvds/tv on sunday pm or hide and seek with long seeking sessions

KnitterInTheNW · 04/11/2008 19:02

I'd have been much less restrained too Scorpio, don't ever think twice about talking to us here.

George is asleep, calpoled up.

Denny185 · 04/11/2008 19:07

I just am aware that lately this thread has been full of my crap - and dont want it to put people off posting with baby stuff, or from asking me advice or anything

VictorianSqualor · 04/11/2008 19:29

Scorpio, it really hasn't y'know. nowhere near. What would you say if it was any of us eh? You'd be telling us to post.

scorpio1 · 04/11/2008 19:30

Yes and i would be stalking you all, LOL, making sure you were alright...I guess.

KnitterInTheNW · 04/11/2008 19:48

ThePFJ · 04/11/2008 20:02

meep!

ThePFJ · 04/11/2008 20:36

DP fractured his foot at work today.. so have him with his feet up tonight while I serve him drinks and dinner. Aren't I good to him...?? We just celebrated our 2 year anniversary this weekend just gone, the 1st Nov was the first day we met. Now look what I have.. a baby and a guy on my sofa asking for tea. Yay me.

(Laughs)

EllieG · 04/11/2008 20:49

Yey you!

and hear hear to all scorpio supportive sentiments.

I am tired and cross today. Went out for tea tonight and though was nice just meant she wouldn't settle as over-stimulated and I had some wine so made me more emotional about it and I'm all moany.

And DH is lazy and does feck all and thinks he should have a medal if he does the bloody washing up once a day.

God, am beginning to bore myself. Tell me some more nice things like about cats and anniversaries.

scorpio1 · 04/11/2008 20:50

Remember our kittens Ellie?

there nice shite about cats

Think Joey may be up duff again

DH keeps doing everything....

ThePFJ · 04/11/2008 20:55

My cats are like kittens. When they were rescued originally by cats protection an old lady was looking after them and 18 other stray cats she had taken in. She could only afford to feed 1 cat, so they didn't get alot to eat. The man next door decided that 20 cats was an invasion, and used to shoot at them. My cat smokey still has a pellet in her right back paw. Because they were malnurished scribble still has her kitten teeth, and never grew her adult ones. She is very small like a kitten too and our vet always judges her to be 6 months old even though she is 4. Both cats have one cloudy eye were they almost lost an eye each to an eye infection all 20 of the cats had.

They act like kittens all the time, its like they'll never grow up. I always wanted an eternal kitten when I was a little girl and I guess I found some lol.

hope that distracts you Ellie. Kick your DP up bum from me.

EllieG · 04/11/2008 21:01

Ahhhh lovely cats.

My ex-husband got mine. They were fat and cuddly and I loved them far more than I loved him. Stupid men. Bah.

EllieG · 04/11/2008 21:13

Oh no I have killed the thread with my moaning...come back everybody.....

MommyHasaHeadache · 04/11/2008 21:15

Also fed up tonight - like Ellie tired and cross. Think my period is coming.

Is it normal that Gigi has gone from having a dream feed then a 4am feed, to being weaned (i.e. 3 meals a day now), still having all normal bottles, incl. dream feed at 10:30pm, but now wakes up twice a night for feeds?! This has been going on for a few weeks now - I just don't know what to do. I am so tired, and getting so fed up. Some of you were talking about stopping giving night feeds. How do you do this? I have considered giving up the dream feed, but she wakes for it! And when she wakes for the other feeds, she drinks the entire bottle. What is going on here??

Scorpio - don't feel like that - none of us mind - it is what we are here for - to support one another.

Peachy - ahhhhhhhhhhh - that's so cool of you. I would love to be a foster mommy for kittens/cats (although I think it would break my heart to give them up), it would mean I would have lots of kitties all the time! Heaven!! I am sure when I am old I will be a crazy cat lady!

VictorianSqualor · 04/11/2008 21:17

MHAH, We're just going to cold turkey him.
Stop offering it when he wakes and settle him with PUPD instead.

EllieG · 04/11/2008 21:19

My hv said to stop night feeds as Mol only taking a tiny amount, so not hungry, just waking out of habit. She has also started to wake twice a night, so much sympathy to you MOM, I know how you feel. Not sure about stopping when she is taking full bottle though - hv said just to give quick cuddle/pat, then back in cot (basically PUPD) or offer water. She said to be prepared for crying, but that at 6 months, they do not need to feed at night, and should be taking enough in day to get them through.
