Thought as the messages were coming in thick & fast I´d start new thread. Don´t know if it´ll work though. Fingers crossed.

(Sorry, but I was cross. Won't be mean again.)

EllieG · 03/11/2008 20:18

What you been eatin' pfj?

(I am very interested in everyone eating things at moment as I am on A Diet and have to eat vicariously through others). Sigh.

KnitterInTheNW · 03/11/2008 20:20

We just finished our tea. Quorn poppin bites, garlic mushroom cous cous, broc and green beans. And orange yog for pud. Then 2 mini mars bars left over from the trick or treat bowl.

EllieG · 03/11/2008 20:23

Yummy!

Molly has been rubbish with eating today. Has made faces and refused to eat all my carefully prepared lovely homecooked food. For tea she ate 2 spoonfuls of chicken casserole, under duress, and then woofed down 2 yogurts. Pah.

KnitterInTheNW · 03/11/2008 20:30

haha, they're little monkeys aren't they...

George has had the grand total of 2 spoons of an ella's pouch and one of apple & mango today. He blows raspberries and pushes the spoon away as soon as he sees it. I'm going to get him weighed in the morning and ask the HV how long I can let him just have BM for before I have to worry. I'm not making a big thing of him not eating, when he's had enough or just refuses anything, I just let him play in his highchair for a bit then get him down. I'm not offering boob straight away either, so he doesn't associate refusing food with being able to have his beloved milk! Obviously I'm not denying him any milk either, it's all he's having at the mo.

KnitterInTheNW · 03/11/2008 20:49

Hee hee, corrie is fab tonight!

ThePFJ · 03/11/2008 20:52

chinese food!

KnitterInTheNW · 03/11/2008 20:54

mmmmmmmm chinese food...

VictorianSqualor · 03/11/2008 21:11

Knitter, between now and one it's not really a huge worry if they aren't into it, it should gently increase so by about 9 months they should be having three meals, but they don't need to be eating. If you're really worried then make the foods he is having be iron rich as that is the one thing they start to lack.
Tonight a ate a whole mini avocado and cheese spread plus five slices of cucumber and two slices of fruit toast! yesterday I think he had about three mouthfuls of ellas. Git

ThePFJ · 03/11/2008 21:19

Is it me or would a 'baby's first yoghurt' range do reallyyyyy well...

(she says as baby jack decides its yoghurt or nothing)

KnitterInTheNW · 03/11/2008 21:29

Baby's first yog range DOES do very well! here

George loves these, well when he's eating he does anyway!
