Thought as the messages were coming in thick & fast I´d start new thread. Don´t know if it´ll work though. Fingers crossed.

Exactly my theory, pfj, lol!

ThePFJ · 31/10/2008 13:55

Peachy - I quite like the fact that when DP sees his friends they do something nerdy like d&d. At least it keeps them out of the pubs ;)

scorpio1 · 31/10/2008 13:57

and places to meet women.

Bastard.

ThePFJ · 31/10/2008 14:01

When I first started making up FF's when baby was 6 weeks old I did get very stressed about all the prep work that was needed. It seems realy simple to make bottles up now, but back being a new mum was enough to stress me out and make it hard. I used to throw tantrums or cry in the kitchen over the scoop fuzzing up from the steam because I'd try to make the bottles as the kettle had 'just' boiled.

When I think back to that and compare it to how easily I do things now I actually do feel a bit cheered up...

ThePFJ · 31/10/2008 14:02

Turn your DP into a nerd Scorpio!

scorpio1 · 31/10/2008 14:03

Yes, i should, shouldn't i!

I remember the fuzzy scoop too, lol.

ThePFJ · 31/10/2008 14:04

I get SOOOOOO jealous when my DP even talks to other women. Even if its work or just day to day stuff. The only woman I don't mind is the Jobcentre Lady. Possibly because she is baggy looking.

scorpio1 · 31/10/2008 14:08

I never really cared, DH has lots of female friends, and this was all fine with me. Some are school friends, others he has met at thai boxing.

I feel different this week though.

ThePFJ · 31/10/2008 14:10

I feel brave enough to show you all a pic of my stunning male-model like DP. Hope it raises a smile... its in my profile now.. but not for long.

ThePFJ · 31/10/2008 14:11

Don't blame you Scorpio. -offers you chocolate brownies-

scorpio1 · 31/10/2008 14:13

Goodness you look so different to how i imagined - loving your dps beard

Did i know you came from Cornwall? Where?

ThePFJ · 31/10/2008 14:15

LOL people often say that to me. his beard is longer now, and he has a lovely big belly for me to use as a hot water bottle at night.

I was raised in good ol snozzle (st austell to the rest of the world) and my family lived in Falmouth for a time too. Aren't you from Penzance?

scorpio1 · 31/10/2008 14:18

Yes I am good memory & LOL at snozzle

TheShipsCat · 31/10/2008 14:19

Hi girls,

Just a quick note to say goodbye, as I'm off for a week to be a saggy tummied, badly dressed, leaky breasted sharp-suited career woman. Going to spend the evening weeping over my beautiful dds .

And having read that thread about making up bottles, I am going to spend a week being totally paranoid that dd2 will get some horrible bug...

scorpio1 · 31/10/2008 14:20

Have a good week TSC, be brave

ThePFJ · 31/10/2008 14:20

I miss proper pasties! My mum brings some up when she visits, but apart from that its all Ginsters rubbish. I know they created employment in Cornwall but their pasties suck. Just because they say 'made in Cornwall' doeasnt make them cornish. Plus the minced meat/meat goo in them makes me retch. Why can't they use proper steak... Sigh.

ThePFJ · 31/10/2008 14:21

LOL TSC. We'll miss you.

ThePFJ · 31/10/2008 14:22

Oh and I miss Trago Mills. Bleh.

Denny185 · 31/10/2008 14:37

GORDONS ALIVE

ThePFJ · 31/10/2008 14:47

Flash! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Ahhhhh!

???

TheShipsCat · 31/10/2008 15:11

Quick question - can I wear normal underwired bras if I am not feeding, just pumping and dumping?

TheShipsCat · 31/10/2008 15:17

PS I have a note from Brian Blessed from when A was born, saying 'TSC, Big Love, Don't let the bastards grind you down!'
He was presenting an awards ceremony with DH, and through his speech just kept on shouting Gordon's Alive!!! Apparently, DH's company won't be hiring him again

ThePFJ · 31/10/2008 15:20

Prolly not, but tbh I always wore an underwired bra when bfing and pumping. I cant get on with non underwired, my boobs fall out the moment I do anything.. like walking around, doing dishes..

I never had a problem. I'd do what you 'need' to do on that on.

Thats my opinion anyways.

ThePFJ · 31/10/2008 15:21

TSC my DH looks and sounds like BBlessed sometimes, check out the pics on my profile

TheShipsCat · 31/10/2008 15:23

Wow! The beard is great, but I imagine it would be pretty hard to live with the noise of BB
