Hey ladies.

Sorry I havent been about much - been away and back and away and back and decorating in between.

SOL - So sorry to hear about your mum, hopefully she will get the treatment that she needs and will be on the mend soon.

When you have a spare 5 mins ladies you have to read this Preferably before you have your dinner.

Really cute guy working downstairs, ok so his name is a little offputting, but I can overlook that

Now, how to get back down there to chat....

Evening all.

Hi GM, long time no see

Caz, ikwym re being broody. I had a dream the other night that I gave birth to a baby boy and was having a paddy as had thrown away all our baby stuff

Dooby, lovely to see you and glad the move has been ok. We have friends in Lincoln - can't remember the name of the town, but it was lovely. Really traditional and not far from the coast where we saw tons of seals.

POTC, which hotel chain is it? Sounds fab. I find it really hard finding places that have family rooms. Glad you are havng fun. Have you seen JS and Runny? JS has not been on MN for a while.....

Elkie, what a (sp???) horrificly early wake up

Brain dead now. Sooooo tired. Mum not had a great day either - very down, and seems to have developed a problem with her left eye. They are looking in to it - no pun intended! She keeps asking Dad what she has done to deserve it all.

I have to say I feel really down - probably due to tiredeness. I haven't slept properly for 2 weeks. Half term hasn't helped, as B is a bloody handful.

Sorry for the whinge

Doobydoo · 31/10/2008 09:38

Mprning all/sorry your mum is feeling down SOL,I expect she and you will be up and down emotionally for quite sometime.Sorry you are knackered too.
It is quite tricky finding jobs in Lincolnshire or that are commutable for dp ie field service. We shall persevere.
Hope all ok today.Dp and ds1 off to play golf.M has stinky cold.

cazboldy · 31/10/2008 10:44

CaptainDippy · 31/10/2008 10:58

You poor mum SOL - it is a lot to take on board. Hope things are brighter today.

Sunny here, but mighty chilly - brrr!

SharpMolarBear · 31/10/2008 11:41

Oh SOL, hope things start getting easier soon. Not surprised your mum is down, she must be sick of being ill

CaptainDippy · 31/10/2008 12:06

How's T today SMB?

SharpMolarBear · 31/10/2008 13:26

Bizarre Luce Enjoy the warmth.

My children are driving me insane. Had enough.

Sexonlegs · 31/10/2008 17:18

Dippy, that could have been me writing that last sentence.

I am not a violent person, but stress and the fact that af is due on top of an obnoxious 5 year old is making me want to strangle her.

She is unbearable.

I expect I'll be locked up now for saying that!!!

Luce, so glad your boiler has started working! What a nightmare to be without it at this time of year! Thanks for thinking about me

Thanks to all of you. I hope you don't mind me coming on and talking about Mum.

Anyway, her eye seems better today and she is feeling perkier.

I am going to see Dad tomorrow and take him some meals to put in the freezer and then go and see Mum. B says she wants to see Mum too, but I just think it isn't appropriate at all. Dad has said he would like to come and see us all on Sunday as a change of scenery. Must be so hard for him

Hope everyone has had a good day. xxxx

elkiedee · 31/10/2008 17:31

Don't mind? I think we'd want you to feel you can come talk about your mum anytime SOL.

We were rudely awoken at 5 am this morning. And he fell asleep on the way out again. Sigh.

SharpMolarBear · 31/10/2008 19:13

SOL and Dippy, sorry you're so stressed

It's my birthday - 21 again! Off to drink coffee and eat mint chocolate orange

Doobydoo · 31/10/2008 19:29

Caz, dh took B and K out this evening trick or treating. We live in a cul de sac and everyone knows and looks out for the girls which is lovely. They had a wonderful time. Everyone was ready for them with sweets and money!

Hope everyone is ok.

SharpMolarBear · 31/10/2008 21:53
