Ok Daisy, now I have posted I'll let you pay me
Btw, I lost the instructions, natch, but you can see it all here

Sputnik · 03/10/2008 22:11

Ooh, don't talk to me about cervixes!
What are you buying Holly?

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 03/10/2008 22:17

I want a new dress, but I can't find one. I bought one in TK Maxx the other day, I love it, but it is too short, so can only be worn with trousers. I want a black jumper dress to wear with crazy tights. I just happen to be quite tall, so most of them show my arse!

LackaDAISYcal · 03/10/2008 22:17

What are we all getting LOs for Christmas?

I want to get DD a wheelybug, but not sure she'll be that bothered for it.

My dcs are getting very little. They have far too many toys and my mum will spoil them rotten. I would like to get dd a new cd player or a little dvd player for in the car. I saw a little toy laptop thingy in JL the other day that I think ds would like.

Sputnik · 03/10/2008 22:20

We have a wheely bug, it's great, we've had it over 3 years and it looks like it did the day I bought it. DD still uses it sometimes.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 03/10/2008 22:23

I saw really cheap wheely bugs the other day, but I can't remember where, they were half price. I'll have a look.

LackaDAISYcal · 03/10/2008 22:25

Meant to say earlier; got a text frm Trace saying that Chloe had had a few problems earlier today but that things had settled down and she was OK again.

gosh they have had such a trial haven't they?

I feel the need to get my hospital bag packed.....am I being too paranoid?

OP posts:
Sputnik · 03/10/2008 22:25

Hmm, up til now we never made a big deal of xmas, as we go to the uk and they get loads of stuff.

Might get DD a scooter. Baby Sputnik might get something Shaun the Sheep related. He's not that bothered I don't think, his fave toys are the Roomba, the dishwasher and the broom, he is looking promising!

Sputnik · 03/10/2008 22:27

Pack it Daisy, then you can forget about it. Things like that kept me awake in the small hours when I was pg. Although I probably would've been awake whatever.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 03/10/2008 22:29

Ds likes the hoover and the pooter. Oh and golf clubs. He likes to whack stuff with them!

Glad chloe is ok. My heart really goes out to them, trace has had a tough time .

No daisy, not paranoid, organised! I would pack it just in case, you never know when Virgil may decide the time is right!

Sputnik · 03/10/2008 22:39

Ok Holly, I know you'll say I'm lama-obsessed, but this dress looks nice (am tempted myself), and I was really impressed with the long cardi I got off this lot last winter, it wore really well. You would need a slip under it though.

Sputnik · 03/10/2008 22:41

Oh yes anything stick like.
Maybe I'll get Baby Sputnik a stick for xmas.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 03/10/2008 22:42

I am actually PMSL! I love you sputnik and your llamas! Shall I get a matching poncho? Seriously though, that is a nice dress! What's 68 euros in English?

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 03/10/2008 22:44

My ds has one of those plastic sticks that makes a noise when you whack things with it, he fucking loves it!

Sputnik · 03/10/2008 22:47

52.8684 GBP
But you have to promise to acessorize it with top hat and wonky legwarmers

LackaDAISYcal · 03/10/2008 22:47

DH says we can get DD a jar of jam and she will be happy as a pig in it.

or a few packets of baby wipes.

A drawer full of spoons would go down well here.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 03/10/2008 22:53

It's one of these. He loves it, but it is a bit broken, so I might get him a new one! Push the boat out and all that!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 03/10/2008 22:54

OMG, look at this!! I want one!

Sputnik · 03/10/2008 23:01

Morph was fab

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 03/10/2008 23:01

I am going to bed now before I freeze in a sitting position! Brrr...so cold!

'Night xxx

LackaDAISYcal · 03/10/2008 23:03

I love morph

I've got horrible backache now and virgil is going bananas.......

Better be off too, night all

Bumperlicious · 04/10/2008 08:54

Morning all loads to catch up on.

Fury, sorry to hear about your MIL. Hope you get some good news.

Daisy hope things are going ok for you.

Foxy, glad you had a chat with DH. Does it seem to have made any difference yet? Are you feeling better about things? Remember this is your life too

No heating on here yet. I am trying to hold out till Nov, but will probably put leccy blanket on soon.

As for Christmas, DD is getting a tape recorder (it's an ancient Fisher Price one, probably a bit old for her, but she is a gadget girl like her dad!) and a pushchair. She amassing a collection of dollies already, absolutely loves the "daydies". I too am volunteering at the NCT sale, so whatever else I can get there.

Pingu glad you've come back to the thread Hope you are getting a break.

Holly do you use reigns for DS? We've got some and I fairly sure they double as a 5 point harness that you can plug into the lap straps in trollies etc.

Hope you all have exciting weekends planned. Nothing interesting going on here. We were going to do a boot sale on Sunday but the weather forecast is pretty bad.
