Glad you went daisy, but sorry MRR was a handful.

I second the easy baby, difficult child thing (and the other way round). My dd was a terrible baby, moany and whingy, I couldn't put her down for a second. As a toddler she is lovely! She has her difficult moments, but generally she is quite an easy child. Ds, however, is (I hate to say it) a little shit! He was a really easy baby and amused himself quite a lot, but as soon as he started to crawl at 5 months he turned into the child from hell! I have had two public incidents with him in the past 3 days where he has run away from me repeatedly at high speed and just caused complete havoc. He won't sit in a pushchair, he screams and tries to escape and eventually struggles free from his straps and stands up, he won't go in a sling, he wants to walk, but just runs away when you let him. He can't sit in the highchairs in cafes because they don't have 5 point harnesses and he can escape from them and I can't sit him in a shopping trolley, for the same reason. It is a constant battle at the moment and one that I am in danger of losing! Hopefully he'll get better with age because I can't actually go anywhere at the moment because he is such a nightmare!

Wow, I didn't mean to write that long a post, I guess I just needed to get that off my chest !

I'm off to watch Ugly Betty now. Goodnight all!

Daisy, do you need anything baby wise? I am at a NNS tomorrow and can look out for bits if you need me to.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 03/10/2008 21:01

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 03/10/2008 21:14

Urrggg! Why are there so many threads around lately with people weaning at 2 minutes and trying to get their babies to sleep through the night at 45 seconds. I don't understand, this place is like Bounty this evening! I might go on one and call someone I've never talked to before hun!
