Lilyloo - well done for posting on that thread, just read it am at how Shabster has been treated.

Basically something was said and it all kicked off into old members V newbies again Cod had upset Shabs a while ago and it was brought up.

Lucky - how about a wooden trolley that she can push along. They are normally weighted so it won't run away with her iyswim.

Mrs Mcjnr - Glad you are ok

Oh oh oh thanks SOOO much simpson!!

Well things are busy here tonight ds3 woke after a bad dream. Took ages to get back to sleep with alot of persuasion and milk and a biscuit. ds4 woke cause he lost his dadum(dummy) and wanted a gimp(drink) then ds5 woke wriggling and crying. Tried to burp him as it fely like he was uncomfortable but gave in and gave him some Medised which still didn't settle him so made a bottle which he drank 5 oz of and went to sleep. Do they have growth spurts now?
DH is late home too which is a bit worrying as he is never late. Don't know weather to wait up for him. I am so bloody tired
I'll give him a bit longer.
Night all. Hope yours are quieter than mine has been so far.
All my other babys were sleeping through by now xx

Its not where we got Ds's one from (that was sent over by SIL in Ireland) but it looks the same

Anyone have any stocking ideas for our Lo's let me know.

Was hoping to get away with it this year but DS informed me "Molly has been a good girl" so she must get a stocking from Santa

Just when I thought I had finished Xmas shopping....

LuckySalem · 17/11/2008 22:40

Simp - I think its harder when you have an older DC. Then you have to get little DC a stocking too.

Someone suggested to me to put things that aren't played with much away NOW, wrap them up and the paper will be a brilliant toy!

I remember once my parents (skint as they were) got LOADS of cardboard boxes from the local supermarket and made me a train out of them - wrapped it. I remember it being the BEST xmas present ever and I spent ages playing in the "train" apparently they had to throw it away during potty training wet cardboard not good.

Lilyloo · 17/11/2008 22:45

Simpson remember getting ds a magnetic fire engine that made noises he still has it now but first thing he opened out of his stocking when there was just him and he wasn't bothered after that!

simpson · 17/11/2008 22:47

LOL at wet soggy cardboard

Thought I had stuff in attic for DD that was Ds's but none of it is suitable for stocking, just bigger pressies iyswim (baby walker, shape sorter etc)

Have found one plastic bath book, but you are right she will play with the paper more am sure

DS's wheely bug should arrive tomorrow
Think I might have to have a sneaky go on it while he is at school Let's hope I don't break it!!

Lilyloo · 17/11/2008 22:47

Have no idea for dd's stocking have got the lego mirror toys so hoping they will fill ds and got a reindeer with choc drops as 'poo' for ds and dd1 tis a whole other nightmare doing stockings!

simpson · 17/11/2008 22:53

Next yr am buying another stocking for DS so it is not so much hassle/money

LOL at reindeer poo

Reminds me one of my first memories was being potty trained and my mum put teddy on potty then distracted me and put raisins in potty saying "teddy done poo" I was amazed!! Still remember it now..

Thought I would try the same trick with DS but he just gave me this look and said "silly mummy it's a raisin!!" then ate them all

Lilyloo · 17/11/2008 22:57
