Hi Foxy....just you and me hiding from the golf then?

Ohforfoxsake · 20/09/2008 21:19

seems to be, though LO is still awake thanks to DS2 going into her room and getting her all excited. I should be stick thin the exercise I get up and down those stairs.

Glass of virtual wine?

LittleMissNorty · 20/09/2008 21:20

sounds good to me.....can't remember the last time I had the real stuff

I'm uploading pics to Snapfish..... and playing with my new mobile

LackaDAISYcal · 20/09/2008 21:34

Evening

I'm having a wee glass of the real stuff shame on me! Virgil is head down ...and I now have backache instead of SPD

BH going good guns again this evening...woohoo another six and a half weeks of this to go

I have curtains in my lounge...after nearly three years of being in this house . DH is pissing himself laughing as they are a perfect match for the shiny 80s wallpaper that I hate. He says I must subliminally love it therefore no need for him to decorate . I think his logic is somewhat flawed.

How's you two?

Ohforfoxsake · 20/09/2008 21:36

sounds like you've been productive as usual Daisy!

I've had quite a relaxing day, been entertaining myself on here for quite a lot of it

DKMA · 20/09/2008 21:38

I think all the golfers in the world need rounding up and pummeling with their bats / sticks / clubs (whatever they call the things they smack the balls with) and therfore I would no longer be subjected to this SHITE on the tv.

Ohforfoxsake · 20/09/2008 21:40

and shouting at the tv. How can you get that involved?

LittleMissNorty · 20/09/2008 21:40

Hi - DKMA - I AGREE

I've had a crap day.....not much changes here! DDs been an angel though I have to admit

Ohforfoxsake · 20/09/2008 21:41

Hi DKMA! How's your weekend been?

LackaDAISYcal · 20/09/2008 21:41

I'll be doing that tomorrow as DH and DS are going fishing and DD is going to spend the day with her GPs. I am mostly going to be sleeping

Also did a bit of light gardening and sitting in the sun chatting with a couple of friends who dropped by with their DCs then had a lovely leisurely lunch eating all the gorgeous deli stuff that DH bought in Waitrose etc on his comparative shop yesterday. Was a very impressive buffet, and all free .

My DH shouts so loudly (esp at Man City), he has made DD cry before in fright...

I found her half way up the stairs this afternoon tucking into Rabbit Whiskers in gravy

IamRiallyindisguise · 20/09/2008 21:42

good evening ladies. I love your plain speaking DKMA - perhaps the men who watch it need smacking in their balls with said golfing item? (DH would love to have a go but a) we can't afford it and b) his shoulder operation means those movements aren't possible)

I have had a productive day in that I've washed all the school clothes and ironed yesterdays laundry, and I went shopping with Dsis.

And, I have had a shoe epiphany (maybe not the right word?). I have bought my first pair of DMs (ok so not the 8 hole purple ones I wanted, they are more of a brown clog-type thing, but DMs none the less.) I am SO chuffed

lol at the rabbit flavour whiskas norty . It's passed for human consumption you'll be glad to hear; it's actually tested by humans as well!

DS1 has a Man City supporters card. He went with DF, DN & BIL to see the qualifier they played (and won)in Huddersfield (or somewhere equally grim) at the beginning of August. His first ever match. And I saw a bit of him on the TV.

LittleMissNorty · 20/09/2008 21:50

I'm pretty sure it was watched in this house as well Ria

I did see Strictly.....but in 10 minute bursts interrupted by checking golf scores

DD loved the music and was dancing away.....she was SO sweet.

DKMA · 20/09/2008 21:52

I know! I know! They should change the rules so that they have to RUN after the ball so it doesn't drag on for ever and bore the arse off of everyone except old men types!!!

Hello! I am well and have had a nice weekend of hanging out in pizza hut and stocking up little fella's wardrobe (as he seemed to suddenly have nothing that fits him!)

He is moving up to the bigger group in nursery soon - 3 months early! As he is physically so much more able than the littlies in his current group and I think he is a bit hazardsome around them! I means though that he will be sitting at a table and feeding himself at mealtimes etc! Such a big boy already! I can't believe it!

Had a MEGA stressful week at work - it's a long story but the reps can't sell anything until I sort things out within the trusts I cover - so I'm feeling the pressure.
Also - I'm having a bit of a situation with a very senior manager texting me non stop

Ria - can't beat buying shoes for a buzz - that's what I say!
Norty / Foxy / Daisy - how's it hanging?

IamRiallyindisguise · 20/09/2008 21:55

I know, I am trawling the net for more (the purple ones). The best thing was they were £6 from Scope or somewhere and they are in perfect condition. Bargainous shoes = bigger buzz.

I haven't seen strictly yet, I hope DH recorded it. Is it still repeated tomorrow?

Sputnik · 20/09/2008 21:57

Bet you've all gone to bed now.

Bumper that is total shit, what they've done sounds like discrimination to me. I shall make a point of boycotting that particular shop when I'm next in the UK. Anyway, I hope, as others have said, it turns out for the best and your DH finds something better.

I've been out all day and looked at new washing machines (yawn).

IamRiallyindisguise · 20/09/2008 21:59

omg, they come in green...

DKMA · 20/09/2008 22:00

Sputnik - Hi!
I'm not in bed - I'm in my office out of protest (against the golf) and am mucking about on my pooter. Not that dh will give a shit though!

LackaDAISYcal · 20/09/2008 22:01

Oh, and lol.....I picked DD up earlier to sit her on my knee to put her wellies on, and this farking great spider ran up her top and onto her shoulder (narrowly missing my cleavage). I screamed; she started crying and I did the only thing I could think of....I held her at arms length and shook her . Of course it didn't dislodge the fecker did it? so I just dropped her onto the floor (thankfully she landed on her feet). She was just standing in the middle of the floor screaming with this huge great thing on her shoulder. My friend came running, and disposed of the hairy critter whilst I cuddled DD. She didn't even realise what was going on poor mite.......shaken baby syndrome....because of a spider

It was enormous

Hi sputnik.

I probably would have done the same daisy.

LittleMissNorty · 20/09/2008 22:03

Fucking hell Daisy....I would have done the same .

I HATE spiders....

Hi Sputnik

IamRiallyindisguise · 20/09/2008 22:05

I think I may be developing a problem
