He takes the clothes out of the dryer or off the line, folds them and then....
wait...
PUTS THEM AWAY

Funnily enough, when he asked me to marry him, even though I was still married to another bloke, I said yes... I'm no fool

I think I shart start a Fury's DH appreciation society on FB

HellHathNoFury · 30/09/2008 15:41

We have caught another rat - I wonder how many more to go. Nasty buggers.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 30/09/2008 15:41

Fucking hell fury! Can I clone him? If you send me a chunk of his hair I shall send you some chocolate and wine!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 30/09/2008 15:43

Ewwww! Is it your doggie catching them? Make sure he doesn't catch anything. They can get all sorts of minging ooglies from rats. My jack russells used to go mousing, it was amazing to watch them. I've never seen a dog move so quickly!

HellHathNoFury · 30/09/2008 15:44

DH;

Cooks when I ask him to
goes grocery shopping when I ask
brings me cups of tea
baths, dresses, feeds DS
does all the gardening
helps with the housework
tells me 'buy whatever you want'
helps clean up after dinner
looks sexy in a 4x4 car
does something vaguely important at work

HellHathNoFury · 30/09/2008 15:45

Holly our dog is pants and couldn't catch a turtle! DH catches them, he made a trap and uses dog treats to lure them in!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 30/09/2008 15:46

DP-Plays golf,
Plays golf on Wii,
Buys golf clubs on ebay,
Sits on his arse and watches TV (mostly golf or football),
Ummm....cant think of anything else!

I still quite like him though ! He is a good laugh!

HellHathNoFury · 30/09/2008 15:47

Ah and I forgot to mention that DH also changes the sheets on the bed, pegs out washing etc.

And he might look sexy in a 4x4 but he drives a fiesta, he lets me drive he 4x4 'to keep me safe'.

Bless.

What do I do? erm...ok, moving on swiftly....

HellHathNoFury · 30/09/2008 15:48

lol Holly your DP sounds golf obsessed

But he must be a decent bloke else you wouldn't be with him!

HellHathNoFury · 30/09/2008 15:52

Oh dear I killed the thread with DH-appreciation-ness

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 30/09/2008 15:55

Yeah, he's alright really! A bit golf obsessed, but I would rather he played golf than football. Last time he played football he broke two ribs! There have been no golf related injuries so far! He does dote on the dcs though and they adore him. That's the main thing.

DKMA · 30/09/2008 16:16

My dh just has a really big nob

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 30/09/2008 16:16

My dp always says that his is big enough to fill a pram !!

LackaDAISYcal · 30/09/2008 17:12

I'm Baaaaaaaacccckkkkkkkk

laptop obviously just needed a wee rest after it's shock earlier. It appears to be working fine now.

I've just had the most almighty hissy fit at DS...over his homework. After 10 minutes of I can't do it, before we have even opened the books, I wasn't in the best frame of mind to help him. He had to write sheep.....he did a q instead of a p. Asked him to do it again.....he did a q instead of a p....and again, and again. And this with the wrong one to refer to

I've had to cajole (for over half an hour) him through ten words that I know he can do, because he has had them before and to tell him how to write every letter. (Me....that's not the way you write an "a". Him...well it's the way I write them). I feel like punching something I'm so wound up.....

Bet you're relieved Daisy.

Homework sounds fun. Do all 6 year olds get homework these days? We only got it at secondary.

Blimey Fury, was thinking my DH is pretty good but he is clueless about anything laundry related.

trace2 · 30/09/2008 18:06

natty big hugs darling! so sorry ive had a few mc and a dc for one of them, its not nice but its over v quickly, dont make it any eaiser though.

well ladies am feeling pretty scared chloe is going in hospital on thursday for her opp so need good vibes please i just dont know, what to do with my self iv never felt so bloody sick with worry i can not settle

LackaDAISYcal · 30/09/2008 18:34

Good Luck to Chloe for Thursday Trace

It is hard when they get put under the anaesthetic, but again it's over with quickly. Sending you a virtual hand to hold for Thursday

DS has been getting homework since Reception . School has it's "Ofstead Outstanding" reputation to keep . I think he gets too much (I struggled with his numeracy homework last week, and I have degree level maths!!), but we do what we can. I would rather he wasn't making the grade than our already fragile relationship was being more damaged by the fight to get him to do the work. It is just putting him off ime.

DD has ripped the knitting pattern I was using to shreds . She is a minx.

DKMA - you win

I have a rampant rabbit for that!

HellHathNoFury · 30/09/2008 19:09

Good luck for Thursday Trace!

I was going to say something else but it's gone.

Oh yes.

The older boys at DS's nursery have taught him how to fill the sink with tissue then turn the taps on.
He flooded the nursery.

trace2 · 30/09/2008 19:20

thank you ladies

daisy ds as had home work since Reception to but its paid of ds can read better than me my sis dd is 8 months older than my ds and they only just starting to read and thats cos my ds was reading horrid herry to her and she went and told her school she wanted to learn and as for maths we been told hes well in front

Sputnik · 30/09/2008 19:41

Trace, sending good vibes to you and Chloe for thursday

Fury, you forgot the [proud mummy] emoticon

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 30/09/2008 19:42

Hope it all goes well trace. Sorry if I've missed it, but what is Chloe having done? If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask. Much love to you and all your family x

Gawd daisy, dd is (fingers crossed) going to a school with an outstanding OFSTED. I hate the idea of such littlies having homework. It takes the joy out of childhood. I expect she'd quite enjoy it though, she's a bit swotty already!

PMSL at fury's ds! Sounds like something my little bugger would do! Boys are bad!

trace2 · 30/09/2008 19:47

shes having a funaplucation and a gastric feeding tube fitted i dont want her having it but she now weights less than she did in june and we met a ss working other day about chloes respite and she said do you know all about chloes cp then?, so looks like she knows some thing we dont! but tbh i have always thought chloes as mild cp

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 30/09/2008 19:48

Good luck for Chloe on Thursday Trace. And well done to DS

What does my DH do?

He catches spiders
He hoovers
He makes dinner 2 nights a week while I work
He goes to the supermarket if I write a list
He sometimes does the dishwasher
He sometimes makes bread in the breadmaker
He sometimes cuts the grass
He makes me hot chocolate at the weekend
He does little bits towards the laundry if I ask him (get in the washing, put a load in the machine, puts his clothes away)

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 30/09/2008 19:51

Oh trace, poor Chloe. Hope the op sorts out all the problems xx
