oh natty . Thinking about you and am here for you if you need to talk; do you still have my number?

Can they not fit you in quicker for the D&C? and agree that no anaesthetic is brutal regardelss of the circumstances.

no rest for me today...DD decided she didn't need a sleep again and is now getting to that grumpy inconsolable stage. we have been out and about all afternoon at shops, bank, PO, school run etc etc. Went to sainsbos for a £1.99 bar of chocolate and came out with £80 worth of shopping I only needed a few bits and pieces.

Help me to econcmise please

Afternoon

Natty - so very sorry for you. How many weeks were you?
You may find that you MC properly before next monday - After 5 mcs - Ive only had to have 1 D & C - and I personally would rather go the natural route. I suspect they've given you another week as they think it may come away naturally.

justRia · 29/09/2008 17:47

Is it a full moon? I am feeling like you mentioned yesterday jbm, but with no good reason.
Could have a tummy bug coming I suppose - DH got up halfway through our tea last night, walked into the conservatory and threw up all over the patio. I do feel a bit bleurgh.

How youfeeling now daisy? did the retail therapy help?

DH is on his twunting Governors course today. PAH. In Follifoot of all places. Wish he would get home.

jbms advice sounds feasible natty, though still no comfort to you that it is probably the reason.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 29/09/2008 17:57

Natty. Sorry, there's not much else I can think of to say at the moment. But take care, and come and talk/vent/scream whenever you want to.

FrazzledFairyFay · 29/09/2008 18:28

Natty

TALLULAHBELLE · 29/09/2008 18:29

Sorry to hear that Natty.

Bumperlicious · 29/09/2008 18:53

Fuck natty, that's shit. Thinking of you. I know you are not ok at the moment but I hope you will be better soon. You are a coper, even though you probably don't want to be the coper right now. You will get through this.

LackaDAISYcal · 29/09/2008 19:21

friends of ours used to live in Follifoot Ria. Is that the one near Harrogate?

No to retail therapy, cos I was only buying shopping...although I got some bloomsbury chocolate for later

justRia · 30/09/2008 09:04

That's the one daisy. choclate is retail therapy!

sorry if my last post last night seemed dismissive JBM, it wasn't what I meant at all but I realise it sounded that way.

justRia · 30/09/2008 09:10

I am really annoyed with DH this morning. OK, so he's done the course so know he knows what it all involves so why the bloody hell doesn't he realise it's a stupid ides? Governors attend meetings, this needs time to go to meetings. What is the one thing (apart from money, patience. enthusiasm for anything but work, etc) that DH does not have when he is working - time.

How's everyone else?

justRia · 30/09/2008 09:14

...and I was putting the DCs to bed when he came in last night and hadn't washed up from tea. Because I felt so rough I fell asleep with baggins. DH has helpfully piled the (still dirty) pots next to the sink for me. TWUNT.

I think I should maybe go back to bed as a damage limitation exercise

rant over

LackaDAISYcal · 30/09/2008 10:27

oh dear Ria...but at least he piled them up

Natty lovely, if you are about, hugs to you this morning.

HOLLY I blardy well love you . Thank You very, very, very, much lovely lady .

and a thank you from DD's bottom as well

Natty, been thinking of you a lot. Hope you are OK and coping x

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 30/09/2008 13:07

Natty, you poor thing. Hope you are ok (well as ok as you can be). Hope it all works out for you.

No probs daisy, hope you like it! Have you tried it out with dd yet? Ackcherly I don't think it'll work with a bump in the way ! It's very soft innit? Sorry if it's a leetle creased, I couldn't get the sodding thing back in the bag!

My dp used to do that ria...now he just piles the washing up next to the dishwasher ! Oh and he doesn't empty the dishwasher when it has finished, he just helps himself to a clean plate/knife/cup whenever he needs it. He's a lazy fecker!

justRia · 30/09/2008 14:15

thanks for pointing out the drawbacks of a dishwasher holly. I can see that happening here if we ever get one

Ohforfoxsake · 30/09/2008 14:25

Daisy has no PC. Her DD helpfully tried to charge up her laptop by sticking her phone charger into a usb port and has killed it.

Sorry Daisy, but

Betcha were wondering why it was so quiet on here? I mean, MN as a whole

justRia · 30/09/2008 14:36

oh no, it's too quiet on here anyway!

Ohforfoxsake · 30/09/2008 14:46

It is a genetic malfunction in the male chromosone Holly. They all put their cup (unwashed) on the draining board. Even if the dishwasher is open and empty.

It will take about 8 squillion-zillion-gabillion years of evolution before Mother Nature cracks that one.

Time for a cuppa and school run.

(Natty, are you lurking?)

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 30/09/2008 15:11

Oh dear, poor daisy's pooter! RIP !

Foxy, 'tis true, they are still apes. Maybe that is an insult to apes, I'm sure a chimp could put a fucking plate in the dishwasher!

Dress? Yay or nay? I want a black dress to wear with coloured tights. I feel this is appropriate!

HellHathNoFury · 30/09/2008 15:19

DH loads, and unloads, the dishwasher every day. Clearly I browbeat him too much.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 30/09/2008 15:21

AIBU to want to marry fury's dh?

HellHathNoFury · 30/09/2008 15:24

LOL!!

well he IS a catch!
He even cleans the bath!

HellHathNoFury · 30/09/2008 15:26

Sometimes I wonder what I did right to deserve the perfect bloke! But he is, the only thing I don't like about him is he leaves rubbish in his car.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 30/09/2008 15:29

Does he fold up his clothes after he takes them off and not just sling them on the floor?

Have you caught any more rats?

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 30/09/2008 15:30

My dp is always moaning at me for leaving rubbish in the car! What can I say? I like to snack!
