Jennyusedtobepink · 18/09/2008 13:07

I'm pregnant too.

largeginandtonic · 18/09/2008 13:11

oh shut up Pink.

MKG i have seriously thought about it before, my cousin cant conceive. Am not sure i am up to it really.

MmeJaffaB · 18/09/2008 14:08

CONGRATULATIONS Pink.
Will you be selling your house? Maybe add, next door to your local a&e on your list of requirements. After all, with two!

MmeJaffaB · 18/09/2008 14:11

PS, Pink. Would you like to join me in the running for Miss World too?

I don't mind if you win, honest, your bump would look nicer than mine, mine has too many stretch marks.

MKG · 18/09/2008 16:21

MJB-- Yeah I've thought about it. There is a customer that comes into my store with her triplet boys. We met her before they were born and just doing some shopping and she was talking about how she can't have children because she was born without a uterus. She comes in with them now, and she is just so happy, and if it weren't for her surrogate she wouldn't be that happy.

I think once I get to a place where I know I'm done with my own family, I could definitely carry a baby for a couple that couldn't conceive. I don't think I could egg donation or anything because I don't like the idea that I would have children that were biologically mine out there I didn't know about, but surrogacy I could handle.

MKG · 18/09/2008 16:34

OH and I went shopping with the boys this morning. And I was walking and I asked Mateo who his best friend is. He said, "Cruz is my best friend". My heart melted. I then asked him who he loves, he said, "I love Cruz"

TheGreatScootini · 19/09/2008 09:19

The kids are driving me mad.I have had one grabbing on each of my legs since 6.30 am this morning..Sometimes I just cant stand it.I love them to daeth, but..GET OFF MY LEGS!!

I am in a terifically bad temper. Can you tell?Had a massive row with DH last night who decided to 'look at the bolier' at 10pm last night, after 3 weeks of me asking him to do it.He then couldnt ge the cover back on it and was banging baout fit to wake the dead.I really dont like him at the moment

DD's gone to sleep now.Thank God.The house is filthy and Ive approx 1 hour to clean it before they wake up.DH's friends are coming round for dinner to watch the Ryder cup.

AprilMeadow · 19/09/2008 09:21

Where is everyone?

That's so cute of Mateo MKG. I thought of you yesterday as i drove past a company called MKG!

Totally manic here at the mo! I had my 3rd cookery lesson last night and made Panzanella Salad (toms, basil, garlic, anchovies and capers), Chicken wrapped in Parma Ham filled with spinach mousse and the sauce to go with it, followed by ECLAIRS!!!! very yummy and fairly easy to make

Got some friends coming for dinner tonight so am making the pasta dish i did last week and the white choc cheesecake.

Off to brands hatch this weekend for the final BTCC meet up. Then college on Monday and holiday on Thursday. I have no idea when i will have time to pack.

Oh and i took J to his first swimming lesson yesterday (very cute) and managed to throw my phone on hte floor and break it! Charley, Jenny please could you drop me text as i lost your numbers due to it being on my other phone and not the sim!

LOL at you all being pregnant! I would joke but knowing my luck i would end up that way!

Jennyusedtobepink · 19/09/2008 09:26

Morning ladies.

I am still in clingy child hell. I swear to God I am waking up with her practically squeezing the life out of me every morning. My mum keeps reminding me of when she was first born and I used to say 'she doesn't even like me!'. Apart from that, she is very cute but still in the middle of a major snotfest, and coughing too. Every morning I wash my face while she lies at the bottom of the stairs screaming for me. I often wonder how Scoot manages with two!

AM - I'm on my way, for the Chocolate Cheesecake alone!

Scoot - sort this bloody sleepover out, woman! I am craving some time to myself at the moment. Did you get my text about 90210? This is the season where Shannon Doherty gets fired halfway through.

Jennyusedtobepink · 19/09/2008 09:28

And I must confess, after I told you I had located the KKs, I went and bought 4. And ate them all.

AprilMeadow · 19/09/2008 09:31

I know it doesnt help much but we still had J in our bed until 6mths ago. Not every night but if he woke more often than not we would be in his bed or he in ours. You are doing a fab job as its all down to you. If you had the suport then it might be a totally different story. Maybe the cold is unsettling her as well...... mine are always more restless when feeling under the weather.

AprilMeadow · 19/09/2008 09:31

good girl

AprilMeadow · 19/09/2008 09:32

right off to clean - i have PJ&Duncan blaring from the ipod right now

Jennyusedtobepink · 19/09/2008 09:32

So consequently I put a pound on at Slimming World. Been going for four weeks and lost one goddamn pound.

Somehow I don't feel I am committed to my weight loss, but prefer to feel sorry for myself and dive into a vat of lard each night.

TheGreatScootini · 19/09/2008 09:50

Scoot doesnt manage with two..Scoot is at the end of her tether.
L comes in our bed if she wakes in the night most times too y'know..I cant be bothered faffing to get her to go back to sleep when I've got to get up to go to work in the morning.
Also I have still only lost 6 pounds. Some would say this is very good. But Id lost 6 pounds a week ago and to do another week of detox with no results is a pisser to say the least!I may crack today...

I promise to speak to DH about sleepover tonight. Not that I want to speak to him at all at the moment.Thank god for The OC..It has seem me through some tough times and I am relying on it again! That and Strictly Come Dancing tomorrow..I am sad sad sad.And I dont care.

Where are you going on hol AM? S'what I need.Holiday.By myself.
Clearly ive done no cleaning at all..oh well...

Jennyusedtobepink · 19/09/2008 09:55

I know, but it's just the boys tomorrow. I want to see Rachel Stevens and Lisa Snowdon. Let the Matthew Cutler obsession begin.

I am having a fantasy at the moment (not Luke Perry, oh OK, him as well) of a girls weekend away. Just girls, vodka, KKs and cheesy TV.

largeginandtonic · 19/09/2008 10:01

Hmmmm as i said on the multiples thread yesterday my ass is spreading faster than a tub of flora atm Hey ho. I fear i may exceed the 13 and a half stone i normally reach >

Scoot i know where you are coming from honey, i have just had enough of the clinging to my leg (smooshing in whatever food they may have eaten) and whining to be picked up. I am sure i actually see red some days and throw him off!

I keep saying i have one inside me who kicks all the time i can't get away from i don't need another on the outside too! It was hellish when the twins were 2 and dd was 1, some days the gin was NOT enough.

Pink she will clam down, B is clingy but i just ignore the screams. Sometimes you have to. I am lucky in that the other children are usually around to distract him. He plays wuite nicely with them now.

I could hear sqeals from the bathroom yesterday and opened the door to find dd had put him in his doll buggy (you know the tiny £5 from Argos ones) and was sat having a wee talking to him. I asked her what she was doing and she said

"well he would just scream if i left him outside the door and i didnt want him to touch everything in here, so i put him in the buggy"

Ah we girls learn young, bless her.

Scoot a visit would be fabulous! April you too? Will text TYG and see if she is up to a day trip by then. Am desperate to see the little man. Anyone else?

SOH when are you coming?

Jam am mailing recipies now, apologies for crapness.

Do you know i have backache. Am going to sit for the rest of the day i think

AprilMeadow · 19/09/2008 10:01

Dubai for a week

Jennyusedtobepink · 19/09/2008 10:04

Jealous, me? Noooooooo.

Does anyone have any recipies or ideas of things that can be cooked in one dish? Quickly and easily, like pasta bakes and things, not casseroles.

LG&T - I am definitely replacing P with L.

I never realised I could go to the toilet for a number two with a child on my knee and be quite so effective. I had hidden talents that I never even realised I had!

Motherhood eh? It really is bringing out a wonderful side of me.

AprilMeadow · 19/09/2008 10:05

humpf..... i have to go to stoopid exhibition that day

How very cute of Phin!

largeginandtonic · 19/09/2008 10:08

Bugger AM, although seens as you are swanning off to Dubai for a week my sympathy is limited Are you taking the children? Fark me it is fantastic there, make sure you do the dune buggys and go off roading.

Buy some gold too, stupidly low prices. Oh and remember no bacon

largeginandtonic · 19/09/2008 10:09

The booze is extortionate too, you can only really get it in hotels.

Jennyusedtobepink · 19/09/2008 10:14

AM - buy diamonds!!

AprilMeadow · 19/09/2008 10:20

I dont know how you do it largeandt..I was really seething this morning and they were only being little kids, not doing anything really wrong.I just wanted to walk unfettered around the kitchen. They are still asleep..Thank the lord for small mercies..

I know! I know! Why dont we all ask for a spa day for Christmas for the same spa!Or just a night in a hotel somewhereThen we can get together childlessly and go out!I will buy you a voddy PJ..
