I'll vote for you Jaffa.

AbbyLou · 16/09/2008 22:08

Oh god, I'm so tired being back at work. I came in here for a quick catch up and no-one's making sense!! Help!!! Is anyone pregnant, have I missed any exciting news? I knew this would happen. Back to work and I'm in bed for 10.30pm because I can't keep my eyes open and I've got so much work to do I haven't had time to post.

elkiedee · 17/09/2008 00:04

????

MKG · 17/09/2008 01:54

What have you ladies been doing? As I'm scanning posts and I see three of you announce pregnancies I think either you are all really bored, or you thee have incredibly linked cycles.

AprilMeadow · 17/09/2008 09:08

You lot are mental!

I am off to Thorpe Park today without the kids

MmeJaffaB · 17/09/2008 09:40

1 Vote, woo hoo thanks SOH!

Abby Will it get easier, is it first few weeks mania?

AM

largeginandtonic · 17/09/2008 10:19

Phone me instantly please, i mean right now. Am holding phone.

largeginandtonic · 17/09/2008 10:21

Hang on are you winding me up, don't believe the Jaffa woman or her over the sea.

ShowOfHands · 17/09/2008 10:25
JamInMyWellies · 17/09/2008 10:28

What is going on dont you know its just unfair to tease a pregnant women I have enough trouble holding onto reality without you playing silly beggers.

ShowOfHands · 17/09/2008 10:33

It weren't just me miss, those others were doing it too.

It's just so boring on here of late. Nobody's getting knocked up, no tales of errant puppies, we're all prostrate with envy at TMAM's glam lifestyle and therefore forced into a weary state of non-posting, LG&T never talks about porn anymore, Pink's not pink anymore, it's just not right.

I miss the old days.

For the record, if I ever do get knocked up again, I'll be posting expletives all over MN.

largeginandtonic · 17/09/2008 10:42

Oh ffs i am in a delicate situation, you cant go winding people up like that.

It aint fair.

Now what shall we talk about. I have just baked a vast coconut slab cake, will be cool in 20 mins. Tea and cake and porn?

I asked dh to find some Tudor porn last night, you know in light of the very historically correct The Tudors series currently running on BBC.

ShowOfHands · 17/09/2008 10:49

That Tudors thing is a classic example of why let the facts get in the way of a good romp. I tried to watch it but there's something wrong with Ann Boleyn's face. It makes me want to punch the television. Cute chappie in it though. Not quite the misogynistic, obese, grotesque, greedy, insatiable monster we know and love from the history books but looks nice in a velvet smock so can almost forgive.

How do you 'find' porn. Is it like sending dh out to hunt for dinner? Does he come back triumphant with his prey clutched in his jaws? And does every man in porn have a 'tache and every woman silicone- enhanced body parts? [naive]

Scoot, did you watch Tess btw?

largeginandtonic · 17/09/2008 11:02

I watched Tess too, was ok although dh not impressed at all. He read his book.

You search on a torrent website, torrentreactor particularly good for dodgyness. Mininova and piratebay (no pun honest ) are good for your regular movies and music etc...

He didnt find any, disappointing.

largeginandtonic · 17/09/2008 11:04

He would have to take the velvet smock OFF, cant abide velvet. Makes me shudder and not in a good way, think terracota scraping.

JamInMyWellies · 17/09/2008 11:09

Hilarious does your DH know that you post about him hunting down porn, by the way for some vv amateur but good for a laugh porn check out youporn.com

SOH really you musnt tease like that.

Cake making type people I have been feeling the urge to do some sort of baking or nice sweety making give me your best recipies for a sweet novice.

largeginandtonic · 17/09/2008 11:16

Tray bake everytime, wwhack in greased roasting pan. What flavour? Chocolate, lemon, date and walnut, coconut, gingerbread, plain?

Am off to ice the cake and get Hugs from playschool. Will look back before i go and post your choice.

You just chuck all ingredients in food processor and whizz. Pour in to pan and bake for about 30-40 mins. Turn out and cool, pour over icing or leave plain. Topping dependant on cake choice.

MmeJaffaB · 17/09/2008 11:19

Hands apple to G&T, sorry Miss too.
I assure you it will be many a year yet before I will be announcing number 4 is on the way. Of course it's kinda vital to get jiggy to fall pregnant. Oh no, we just don't do "that" we are parents afterall.
I cleared out under A's side of the bed
the other day. I was secretly hoping to find some fun. I kept looking, but only managed to find a screw fix catalogue, followed by a machine mart. I married a fecking geek fgs!!

Tess. Was watchable, although strange. Will be watching next week to see what happens to the undesirable bastard. Hopefully someone will shove his horse up his arse.

ShowOfHands · 17/09/2008 11:21

I made fudge yesterday but that's maybe a bit fiddly. Peppermint creams are easy- I make it up as I go along but have a recipe somewhere if you're really interested.

LG&T, what's some choc orange pudding thing you have a recipe for? Somebody on MN was talking about you and your recipe t'other day.

Pirate bay is what your dh introduced my dh to. I was so scared when I met N for the first time. I couldn't decide between Ron Jeremy or Dirk Diggler when I used to picture him. Luckily, he's neither. Quite normal in a gay sailor sort of way.

What are you two calling your babies then?

MmeJaffaB · 17/09/2008 11:24

Going shopping, leaving J in bed, leaving H on the wii and taking my favorite shopping partner with me. (one good thing about having the GP's here) Why can't they just go to school on Wednesdays like everyone else?

ShowOfHands · 17/09/2008 11:25

GINGERBREAD LG&T GINGERBREAD!!

Jaffa, do you not know what happens to Alec then in Tess? I shan't spoil it for you, although I must disappoint you and tell you that horses and arses are not involved.

DH's side of the bed is littered with fantasy fiction of the dragon/goblin oeuvre, cycling catalogues and a book on the history of Norwich.

MmeJaffaB · 17/09/2008 11:28

No, sorry, I meant to add, I haven't read any Thomas Hardy, I don't think. Mum says she won't watch it as it's too sad?

MmeJaffaB · 17/09/2008 11:37

I may read it after I've watched it. I did that with Jane Eyre. The book was fab. As you know though, I am sadly un read.

Themasterandmargaritas · 17/09/2008 11:39

Hardy, it's all so tragic.

MrsJB good to see you have returned to your oldself

Sooooooo predictable that as soon as LG&T comes back the talk turns to porn. Anyone would think she ain't getting any.
