Hurray at having Ma Larkin back again! Such good news that the twins have got into a local school, was it the one you wanted? And 23 weeks where does the time go?

Well done April on the discipline front, as you know fascist mother here does nothing by halves and the older two know that even if they mess around in the bath there will be no bedtime story. It's a power thing, naturally Somehow I have a feeling I won't be quite so successful with J...

How is dh's workload?

Jam, my connection is a bit slow just now so it has taken me forever to look at your holiday snaps, but they are brilliant. You are a very smiley family. When is your posh wedding that you have to go to?

Charley, have a super super time. I'm sure it will be lots of fun.

Not much to report here apart from the fact that poor dd had to do her first inter-house cross country run this morning, 1km around the outside of the school, twice. They looked so tiny... she did ever so well and came in 7th! She was very proud of herself. Now fingers crossed she did equally well in her spelling test.

MKG · 15/09/2008 12:27

Morning ladies!!

Well I'm 15 weeks tomorrow. It feels like yesterday i did the test.

Mateo and I had a great weekend. Saturday we had some time together just he and I while my mom watched Cruz. I took him to toys r us for a story time, and open play time with Thomas toys, bought him a movie, and a new train toy, then we went to the mall for a haircut, and then shared a pretzel. He's grown so much and is becoming such a good helper I think he needed some special time.

Cruz is the daredevil of the family. He climbs up on the couch and falls down backwards laughing (wonder who he learned that from) But the best part was last night. He knows how to go up stairs, and we've been teaching him to go down. Unfortunately he only wants to go down holding your hand. Well last night he followed Mateo up the stairs, Mateo stayed up and I turned and looked and their is that rascal of a boy Cruz holding on tight to the railing and throwing his leg down the step. I swear the child has no fear.

Cross country! I didnt do that till secondary school! Bless her.

The twins are not in the same one as Phin (annoyingly) but i just couldnt see how i was going to pick up J then P, then drive to get them hurtling back to pick up H from Play school. It would have have been ridiculous. B would have been in the car for about an hour and a half at each pick up and drop off time!

Yes Jam when is the wedding?

I am off to take Hugs to play school and then going to toddlers this afternoon. Fingrers crossed B does not beat anyone up, he like biting and hitting atm. Tis a joy...

JamInMyWellies · 15/09/2008 12:39

The wedding is in a fortnight. Thank god I didnt get that summer dress not really the weather for it. Am going to wear an Isabella Oliver one but not really sure what to do about keeping warm am hoping that my preggo hormones will keep me toastie. Bit miffed aty DP though he announced that he is staying with the groom the night before and that I have to organise getting the dog to the kennels pack our bags for the wkend plus seperate stuff for A as halfway through the day I have to drive to my mums and drop him off. But the killer is the wedding is at 10am in Hackney so will be up at 6 do all that stuff, leave the house at 8 then be on the go all bleeding day long till DP has had enough to drink prob about 1am then drive us to my sisters to stay for the night, grr.

Cross country was developed by a sadist I am sure of it.

Have a lovely day ladies, i am off to college

TheGreatScootini · 15/09/2008 13:13

Get a shrug?or there is a lovely chunky cardy thingy in M and S that is shaped like a shrug but bigger, kind off..

L went to pre school for the first time today.Dh dropped her off.She was screaming blue murder when her left.

I am waiting for the inspectors to arrive at work..twill not be good I fear...worked all of Saturday and took girls out to see my BF on Sunday so DH could revise. My BF has a typical single girls flat, all white on white sofas and things that small children like to try to swallow/smash/colour on inapropriately. My nerves were shredded by the end of it.

SOH and TYG-Its true!No Hamlet tickets left AT ALL!So thats the end of that, humph..

Have lost 6 pounds on the detox, with two weeks to go.Am striggling with it now though as am craving, booze, bread, chocolate, not neccesarily in that order..but am screwing my courage to the sticking post and will perservere..My Mum tried to sabotage me yesterday by bringing with her a cake..but I resisted!

MKG · 15/09/2008 14:11

Cruz has the stealth of a ninja.

I'm happily taking a shower, I'm in the middle of washing my hair and I turn around and see him sitting in the shower. He's laughing as he's getting wet, so I figure hey he can stay. I finish I put him on the floor and he starts walking away, well he was slipping and sliding so much I thought he was an ice skater.

He's also so proud that he can throw his blanket over his head and walk around like a ghost.

Themasterandmargaritas · 15/09/2008 17:13

Scoot how was L when you picked her up? I bet she had a ball. Fingers crossed.

Oooo Jam, considerate of your dp, not. What about a lovely wrap? I could send you some beauties from here! I bet you will a million dollars in whatever you throw on wear.

How is the student today? did you hand in your essay? Take an apple too?

Can you imagine, poor little dd, shivering in her PE kit, it was blardy cold this morning, she is only (nearly) 7! See what these prep schools make your kids do. and they had a spelling test later on. Too cruel. But the cake was rather nice. (oops sorry Scoot i didn't really mention cake)

MKG, lol at Cruz. Sounds like you had some lovely Mateo time too. I like being one on one with them and going somewhere, even to the supermarket, then it becomes fun. J is driving me mad with his possessiveness. He is like super sticky velcro kid. Mamamamamamamama, even pushes the others away. And he wants me to pick him up all the time. Which is not easy at 15kgs.

Btw I watched Dr Who last night, with David Tennant in it, personally I couldn't get the David Tennant thing. Now Billie Piper, that's a different story....

Themasterandmargaritas · 15/09/2008 20:01

Heeelllllloooooooooo is anybody there????

JamInMyWellies · 15/09/2008 20:49

Blimey where is everyone?

Has anyone heard from Lups been wondering how she is getting on?

Themaster that is very kind of you can just imagine having a gorgeous wrap to put on and A putting his sticky mits all over it. Have to say its nice to hear I am not the only one with a whingy velcro baby.

Scoot hope L had a good day.

AprilMeadow · 16/09/2008 09:22

Morning,

Had a good day/night at college but have LOADS to do so can see myself on the phone to Pink ALOT I was given brownie points for having bought the 2 books we need for the course Some parts of it i will struggle at because i dont actively work for Sunshine and also because they dont have any procedures in place (that's my job!) Had to start thinking what our 3500 word project would be about.... am thinking Training and Development - now i just have to sell it into the boys!

Well done on the 6lbs Scoot KEEP GOING

Wow i cant believe where the time has gone for all of you pg ladies. Creena must be the next to pop.....

No news from Lups, have texted a few times but havent had anything back.

LOL at Cruz, Jack can be quite stealth like but only if he has taken something he shouldnt have, like sweets and chocolate, rest of the time you can hear him!

LG&T how is Phin now?

largeginandtonic · 16/09/2008 09:36

Well done on the sourse April! Must be lovely to escape and have your brain back. Some days i look for mine longingly, mostly i have given up.

I have been looking at alternative careers though. Radiography looked good. I need to do the degree in Diagnostic Radiography first then specialise as i would like to be an ulrasonographer. They can work normal hours. The course is massive though and super intense.

No idea why am looking now, eing pregnant with baby #7 and all. I am sick of toddler groups and potty training. A full time nanny and boarding school looks mighty tempting right now

Phin fine, back to school. Her Growth Hormone stuff gets delivered today and the nurse comes next week to teach me how to work it all! >

Jennyusedtobepink · 16/09/2008 11:22

Morning all

I can't believe that these pregnancies are all going so fast! Aw, its two years today since I found out I was pregnant. I always remember because it was the day after my dad's birthday.

Anyhoo, glad everyone seems to be well.

AM - sorry ds has been a little monkey. It's probably dh's penpal winding him up . Bless her, I think she is two tantrums away from deciding never to have kids. Ds is so gorgeous, well done you for following through on not giving him milk.

LG&T - glad to have you back.

Scoot - I still can't believe that Dan shot Keith. I am in shock.

I have no news, other than L is still Clingy McCling. She wouldn't even go to my mum this weekend, which is unheard of. I will be walking with a limp soon from carting her around on my hip. Have come into work for a break today!

I have an interview (yawn) tomorrow. But it's full time. Which I don't really want, but because this assignment is due to end in December, beggars can't really be choosers. Have to go to be weighed tonight. I fear the news will NOT be good.

MmeJaffaB · 16/09/2008 16:54

Ohhh meant to say TMAM, Billie Piper, she has a rather oversized mouth, does she not? Nice teeth though.

Themasterandmargaritas · 16/09/2008 17:35

Not yawning at April you understand, we x-posted

Botox? Do you think? She certainly has a lovely set of norks nashers.

Good job on the weight loss, we won't recognise you all soon.

ShowOfHands · 16/09/2008 19:43
