ShowOfHands · 10/09/2008 17:15

Nope Scoot, shan't have it I'm afraid. Inspection must be postponed. Come to Center Parcs. Gwan.

I adore period dramas. Adore I tell you. I won't tell you what embarrassing thing I've been watching today. It puts your teen crap to shame.

ShowOfHands · 10/09/2008 17:17

Talking of meet-ups, I'm in Hastings for a week in October, also a day at Dover Castle and then over to Hampshire to see the proprietor of Meadow Towers and MaLarkin (for delivery of birth pool) and perhaps even onto Dorchester to see my SIL. Anybody can make any of those locations for a meet-up, I'm all yours.

JamInMyWellies · 10/09/2008 18:15

Where is this Elvedon you speak of? Scoot, SOH we need to sort out meeting up in Cambridge before I get too mahoosive to fit behind the steering wheel which I fear might not be that long away.

And on that note in toilet roll sheets I am 12 sheets round.

Have been to see the cockrel lady today we have just had enough of them crowing on our back fence and it has started waking the devil child up too so he is wide awake at 4am!!! She was v v nice told me how they refuse to go in the hen house and they roost in the trees no shit sherlock these trees have branches that practically are in my bedroom. Anyway she said she understood our frustrations and that they would be having cockrel for tea at teh wkend. But so its being sorted.

How excited am I that I have just seen there is a new series of ITNG on cbeebies this evening am going to give A a rich tea and his milk and then sit on my arse for 30mins.

Themasterandmargaritas · 10/09/2008 19:12

OMG Jam you give him a biscuit before bed? A true Scot..., next thing you know it'll be battered Mars Bars and deep fried pizza.

TheGreatScootini · 10/09/2008 19:24

mutters under breath

Themasterandmargaritas · 10/09/2008 19:29

She was watching Mr Bean. And laughing.

Sod the stripper crack open the wine, there's a good girl. You've broken the detox thanks to April, may as well move onto the hard stuff.

ShowOfHands · 10/09/2008 19:57

I absolutely was not watching Mr Bean. I was watching Jonathan Creek. I heart Alan Davies. Have you not seen what I made dh do to his hair for our wedding? I like men with curly hair.

Hope this doesn't sound too stalkerish TMAM but had a wee lookie at what your dh actually does for a living (apart from climbing gentle slopes and drinking cocktails) and you know what, I still have no idea. His company website appears to be in English and separately I understand all of the words. Put them all together and it's forrin.

Jam, come to Elveden, it's not far from you! Suffolk's heinous in the main but Elveden's nice. And me and charley will be there. I had a non-alcoholic cocktail once. It was a Bloody Shame.

AM, have you a pencil case?

ShowOfHands · 10/09/2008 19:58

Must just point out that dh has naturally curly hair, perfect ringlets in fact. I didn't make him have a perm, I just made him grow it.

TheGreatScootini · 10/09/2008 20:01

gives TMAM a hard stare

ShowOfHands · 10/09/2008 20:03

Scoot, I love you, I do but you watch some crap.

Does wine really come in boxes? The mind boggles.

TheGreatScootini · 10/09/2008 20:05

I quite like Jonothan Creek. And I was saw Alan Davies up the road from my work.He is an Arsenal fan and I only work round the corner ish.

We all know you smothered him with perm lotion then left him under the dryer for 4 hours. There is no point in denying it.The man has a sheet of perfectly sleek straight hair normally.Thats what I heard.

AprilMeadow · 10/09/2008 20:06

No i dont have a pencil case, why?

Themasterandmargaritas · 10/09/2008 20:08

It comes in especially large boxes here where there are a lot of cocktail parties.

Thank fook for that SOH, I have no idea either what he does for a living. As long he pays the school fees that is all that matters.

PMSL at Jonathan Creek, I think your dh has more than a passing resemblance to Mr Davies. It's that foppish boyish look of his.

Themasterandmargaritas · 10/09/2008 20:10

Scoot do you also watch things like 'Girls of the Playboy Mansion'? That has always intrigued me. But not enough to turn over and watch it.

I could imagine April, with a lovely pink fluffy pencil case, with matching pencils. Oh and an eraser.

TheGreatScootini · 10/09/2008 20:10

Link to the website TMAM, link to the website, I wanna see..

I do SOH.But I balance it out by reading obscure Russian Novels and doing yoga at 4am

Yes, lovely wine boxes.Very handy for smuggling into festys..You take the inner bag out of the carboard surround and strap it to self under clothes and then stand in the queue with the male security person at the end-they are always loathe to body search a lady.
Obv Im no lady, but they dont know that..

TheGreatScootini · 10/09/2008 20:15

I draw the line at 'girls of the playboy mansion'.I have standards you know.>>Goes off to watch Allo Allo on SKY plus>mutters

ShowOfHands · 10/09/2008 20:15

You need a camel back thingy Scoot.

Definitely an eraser methinks and freshly sharpened pencils. And a pristine notebook. Don't you just love the start of term? Half way through you turn up with a chewed biro and write on your hand. Or was that just me?

Shall tell dh he looks like AD, he'll be wounded more than when his mum said he looked like David Schwimmer.

Lord my 'puter has gone mental.

I have a pen with a nudey man on it in my pencil case.He has clothes on, then you turn it upside down and look, he's bare!I love it.

Themasterandmargaritas · 10/09/2008 20:18

Blimey Scoot, I am reading you. Not such a fan of Girls of the Playboy Mansion then?
